I always hold on to the hope that the future will be better. Yes, things right now suck but the future has yet to be written - no need to be pessimistic when you can't be sure about it all! Anyways, I really hope that things will turn out well; for you, for me, and for all. The past is there for us to learn about and to never repeat if it has been bad, and the future will be the fruits of our labor in trying to improve our lives.
Art really reflects reality. Frutiger Aero shows excitement and a sign of positivity towards future, much like the people felt at the time (late 90s to late-ish 2000s). What do we have now? Fucking alegria. Soulless, no defintions, monstrous non-symmetrical humans, everything minimialized and gray. Much like the bleak gray npc-like future that lies ahead of us (if nothing is changed, that is)
We will summit our selfs to corporate products and then become the products. I hate to say that too due the possibilities of actual cool technology, they could have a future. But by the century, people are going to get more null.

Its so interesting how we thought this was the future and how we yet came to the realization that years later and after maturing we were living that future, and because of that we feel such nostalgia because whilst we didn't know we were living in a whole other era
This makes me remember those school computers we were allowed to play on in elementary school after we did our work, I’m not sure if the OS on them was Vista or 7 or something else, but those times were good!

frutiger aero was a style created for elder people who didn’t trust technology, to introduce it to them. bu they realised it was complicated for elders to use so they just sticked with minimalism. plus, everyone used to be happy cause they thought that technology would solve most of their problems so there was a lot of HOPE. HOPE is very important for humans. I do still believe that we would’ve still be happy if the pandemic didn’t start. It changed everyones view and made people to be obsessed with technology and their phones. I’m so sorry but I do believe that it has f0cked up this generation mindset (gen z and alpha). The one who’s truly going to be happy again is the new gen.

im so mad bc the image at 10:00 is the type of poster i would see all the time as a kid in smoothie shops. i now work at a smoothie shop and all the walls are either beige or white and we have like one poster that's just a photo of some bananas and strawberries. i remember how exciting everything was and now everything feels so bleak. and seeing this content reminds me ITS NOT JUST ME! the whole world has gotten more depressing :(

its sad because during the mid 1970s society as a whole began to move away from minimalism towards postmodernism, 70s-2000s era had strong design, even those insane 70s interiors had tons of bold character, now its all greige
I'm an embedded dev for a starup working together with a big company, and I'm incorporating Fruitiger Aero in all the UI, since I absolutely hate minimalism. If Fruitiger Aero is used not too much, you could have an interface which feels more natural to use and brings more fun to computing since I think we've totally lost fun computing with the new mindset corporations have towards getting the most money out of everything and being shortsighted). Hopefully people start liking the interfaces, and it will slowly be adopted again. We'll see. But I'm fighting to get better computing back starting with the style and ease of use.
