Frutiger Aero does have a certain charm, doesn't it? The glossy buttons, calming nature themes, and optimistic vibe are a great escape from the everyday. Here's how you can bring a touch of Frutiger Aero into your world: * **Decor:** Find some posters or prints with classic Frutiger Aero elements like aurora borealis or macro nature photography. Throw pillows with a soft, glossy sheen and rounded shapes would fit the theme. * **Tech:** If you have a laptop skin or a case for your phone, there are sites that offer customizable designs. You could create your own Frutiger Aero masterpiece! * **Software:** Some productivity apps and design tools allow you to change the themes. Look for themes with soft colors, transparency effects, and sans-serif fonts like Frutiger. Even if the whole world isn't Frutiger Aero, you can create your own little haven of optimistic tech vibes.
It kind of used to be before they removed every feminine element from graphic design because more masculine aesthetics look more ''clean'' and ''professional''. Technology and arcitecture used to be a lot more playful and colorful than it is now. Millennial rant over lol.
@phishcatt it wasn't feminine it was natural with a focus on being for and around nature The sleek and professional isn't masculine it's a product of the world and those who run it becoming tyrannical
@@phishcatt An interesting thesis, but I think simpler designs have taken over because of capitalism. Companies produce more and more products each year and they want to maximize profit, so they compensate by making simpler designs that are easier to manufacture (thus also taking the last remnants of nature themes out of many peoples' eyes and severing our connection to the world around us even more, as silly as that may sound).

This background image and the music just remind me of my childhood. Even though I was born in 2004, I still found Frutiger Aero in many places. At home, when we got our first computer, I remember being enchanted by that beautiful and vibrant menu, everything full of colors, with each click making a soft and relaxing sound. And every day that passes, we think about going to other planets instead of fixing the mess we made here. Honestly, it's sad.

i really really love how 70s-90s architecture is not forgotten in frutiger aero, the 2000s was kind of the ultimate culmination of the 1970s-1999 postmodern design era, most 70s-90s interior design is pretty colorful
I’ve always been into that too, with the tobacco smell in the air, the common colors being orange, green, beige, and brown, and handcrafted objects and furniture that have nature stuff plastered on it.
You know how in Sonic CD there was a good future bad future to every stage? We definitely aren't in the good future. These images are like the last reminder of us having to fix what went wrong in the past by using what we have today to grow what we'll have tomorrow.
i’ve always been into the frutiger aero aesthetic since around 04/05 when it was just starting up and outside of childhood related stuff, i loved how the look of optimistic futurism like Solarpunk and y2k looked. it’s really cool to see it make a full come back like this, i’ve always preferred living in the present so bringing these kinds of aesthetics/music back for a resurgence in our modern world is the best kind of thing to see happen
Sometimes I call Frutiger Aero "sustainable modernism". When modern technologies and nature and eco friendly life style co-exist really well together. When there are plants on modern buildings and huge aquariums with fish swimming above computer rooms. I guess you get the idea :)
This is an aesthetic I've always wanted to implement in my comic series, because I always figured that this is where "Life" comes from. Mainly it was a feeling I got whenever I absorbed visuals of it from any source in the 2000's. Nature and technology, working in tandem. Not apart. That being said, I'm happy that I'm doing it now, but I'm worried everyone will be used to it by the time of publication. But still, it's comforting that people want to see this become a reality. As for my comic series, it's a story of contrast. A Mechanically dominated wasteland, and a world as beautiful as this. Two different alternate timelines/realities of Earth at war. The latter invading out of a desperate need to survive. Hope this got you intrigued :) Love that this is spreading.
Hey, that sounds amazing! I'm a writer, myself! Yeah, I definitely get what you mean with the visuals. I feel the same sense from it, too. I feel like a lot of the visuals/tech etc of that era were developed from a real excitement of what the new tech at the time could do, and many things like games etc were made with so much love and passion partially or perhaps largely because of that, and the current nostalgia for the era perhaps comes from a sense that it all felt more genuine, and the world was, or felt more peaceful and there was a sense that the peace would last, a sense of hope, and moving forward. Like with all the newness and discovery came a sense of moving forward peacefully and coming together, and being brought together by all this cool tech, instead of it just dividing us... The era/aesthetic seems like it's come to represent that, and perhaps the aforementioned things being made with more passion made the world feel more genuine, too. It also (perhaps some of the era, anyway) was before social media largely took off at the capacity it did now. Your ideas sound cool, and yeah, I'm definitely intrigued to see what you got, so far ,and where the story goes! Nature and technology working together is definitely an inspiring idea, especially since it seems the opposite of what's happening right now...
I legit did not expect a song from Spongebob Squarepants Supersponge in a frutiger aero playlist. I give you all the kudos in the world for including that.
I was a teenager during this aesthetic. This kind of music was the default ringtone on a new phone, it was all so exciting. At the time, this felt very much like the world we thought we were heading towards. I'm glad that I'm not the only one grieving for it, but I'm deeply sad that the younger generation are feeling this loss. I hope one day we'll get our timeline back on track.

I have a hard moments of anxiety because of a future, and i have so many thoughts about the misery and crisis, i worried about my parents, my friends, sometimes i tried to give up, but i listen this tipe of music, i saw relax videos. And im going to said, we can change our future to better place, we can fight for our dreams and hopes, and this is because the internet was really created, for conect people, to talk and have a nice moments, no for figthing or see bad news. We can fixed our future, i believe in everybody. So if you have a bad day or worst day, just breathe, cry, and try again. You can do it ❤

I remember back, in 2010 the frutiger aero era was still alive. I was 5 years old and even though I know the world never looked like this, whenever I see back in time I actually remember watching the world like this, all clean and beautiful, shiny... I wish frutiger aero would've become sth real. 😢

"the world we should have gotten" you mean the world we should've made for ourselves. Better yet, the world we still can build for ourselves, and for all the creatures on the Earth. Humanity can advance far beyond what it currently is, and still live in a paradise with clean water, green fields, healthy coral reefs and thriving jungles. If people can put aside their pride and profits, Earth can become a true paradise for all living things. Its not too late to improve. Frutiger aero doesn't have to be just an aesthetic forever, it can be real, we just have to make it so. 💚💙
This kind of world is genuinely still possible. The issue is us. We have allowed ourselves to become a people unable to think for themselves, and then somehow act surprised when a leader is elected among them who does not appear to exhibit the slightest amount of thought for them either. Ever since I have dumped the mainstream news, social media, and other similar things, it has made me realize something. For so many years I have been in a box constantly being forcefed these stories of either misinformation or fearmongering; stories consistently drilling it into my head that if I didn't care, then I was a bad person, even though I had no control over what was happening. If I had been given a button to either press for peace or war, I would've hit the button for peace without hesitation. All these stories were doing was deterring me from my own personal path of peace that I was always capable of taking; where I always had a choice in the matter. Let a man be concerned firstly for their own misfortunes, lest they take on the entire forces of Evil with naught but a stick and stone. One shall receive what they require within and without. It all starts with the individual. True unity can only come from true individuality, and anytime one is being anything but genuine, they are only attracting the disingenuous unto themselves. And then this same person wonders why everything feels so fake to them. Be real!
this is the most real shit out there. dont let the big companies of the world wreck your dome into thinking that your goals and a healthy idea of the future is unattainable. free yourselves, from another person who stays off mainstream social media containing a never ending cesspool of fake news.
Late 1990s and Early 2000s pre 2008 were honestly golden years for Humanity. Yes you had 9/11 and the war in Iraq but global peace was the highest it ever was, peaking in 2011. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty close.
The bubbles are very interesting. Supposedly, our reality is made up of a ton of these bubbles stacked on top of one another, and they hold memories and I think transport stuff from the dream fields to down here in the physical

Im highly grateful that Im finally living a life closer to this aesthetic but my heart aches for the people suffering due to war poverty and politics. This world is not fair😢
after september 11 2001, all forms of positive futurism and people looking into the future with possitive probabilities such as frutiger aero aesthetic and way of life- has been reduced. this is due to the fact that after that event, coupled with the fast advancement of technology, people became more distracted and controlled into what is suggested in the internet. people got more scared of the recent terrors. and so the view of the future turned darker- and so that probability is whats being manifested until today. i hope a new renaissance still comes.
Something about this photo. It's so weirdly maximalist. The earth and planets in the sky, the photoshopped bubbles and stars, along with the fake lens flare. But outside of that you have a city rich with detail and a lush landscape outside of that. And there's buildings, yes, but they are separate and not bunched, with the river and other settlements reasonably laid out. The large tree on the left is imposing, but on the right you still get a detailed tree line, the kind of detail you'd only find in reality. I think that's why we hate the modern. It went from making your phone sleek and un-obtrusive to every logo sleek and unobtrusive, and then every business. And so on and so on. Highest detailed cameras to date and easiest access to photo editing ever. And so many bits no one cares if it goes to waste. Yet no corporate wants to make them, and no people want to spend time studying them. It's sad really.
I was sitting here reminiscing what it felt like to live in a time when this kind of future felt like a certainty. Then I just realized all the tech+environmental implications of having THAT huge of a lawn of grass
10:34 idk why but this song makes me sad, it feels like a movie with a sad ending with music that reminds you of how much you enjoyed the whole movie except for the ending
Why wasn't this the future. Why were we instead met with sharp edges.. minimalism.. and WHITES GREYS AND BORING COLORS EVERYWHERE Why can't everything be blue and green... and shiny.. and reflective. like this.
They say we see the past through rose tinted glasses, well I guess they are green in this case xD Green like the glass above the entrance of the staircase, while messing with some gadget or my cousin showing me a clip from Layton 1 on his DS Lite... Green like the default theme on Windows Vista, on the laptop the housewife had brought, spending afternoons watching her play mahjong and being mesmerized by that glass copy animation... Even if the computer was a little sluggish 😅 (I preferred Windows 7 way more) Green like some of the screensavers in Code Lyoko I guess (or maybe azure), watched religiously after school on the public satellite broadcast, a digital decoder feeding into an analog cathode tv... Green like the packages of one of the first TP-Link ADSL modems, arrived really late... Green like that blessed, rebooted forum where I fostered my passion for computer science. Back when running away didn't just mean going to another city, but I had some digital shelters along with some other refugees, wondering at the marvel of technology. Please remind me of this glassy past so that I shall not forget my vocation if someone reads this, by putting a like.

i’ve always been into the frutiger aero aesthetic since around 04/05 when it was just starting up and outside of childhood related stuff, i loved how the look of optimistic futurism like Solarpunk and y2k looked. it’s really cool to see it make a full come back like this, i’ve always preferred living in the present so bringing these kinds of aesthetics/music back for a resurgence in our modern world is the best kind of thing to see happen
This playlist cured my acne, my anxiety and my existential emptiness. Thanks.
Dawg, putting the Wii U mii maker at the beginning was perfect. I grew up with that console so thank you :)
i love this old animations, they where so real and magical to me as a child
Sometimes I call Frutiger Aero "sustainable modernism". When modern technologies and nature and eco friendly life style co-exist really well together.
When there are plants on modern buildings and huge aquariums with fish swimming above computer rooms.
I guess you get the idea :)
The song at 10:34 is actually called Flim by Aphex Twin.
THANK YOUUUUUU:)))
The things we felt like bright future when we were kids become good retro named Frutiger aero now
this is so positive core..
What we wish to have gotten is a clean environment.
A clean air, a clean water and a clean scenery.
Ironic thing is, I want myself to be a clean man in a toxic men's world, but I've failed at some time...
Within a cost that's beyond fix.
this playlist makes me feel so nostalgic, what a wonderful thing to hear it in the last day of the year, happy 2025... whoa, time really flies
Everyone here encouraging everyone else to fight for a better future. Meanwhile I look at the comments and each one liked by someone else. It gives this feeling that everyone’s opinions are heard and there is a supportive community in this comment section.
We can still change things and make it how we wish as long as we all work together in community
We should create this future ourselves
If only we can speak for the people that we can have a greater future, we can fight for it, and hope we can have a nice and cool president, and make not only the USA better, but to make the whole world better. We are still staying strong.
I believe it can happen. You kids will do it. The future is in your hands, I hope I live a long time to see the future you guys will make!

I always listen to this playlist while showering it really adds specific vibe
it’s so magical
I have been really enjoying this type of music lately. thank you for putting together this mix for us!
this aesthetic remind me when i was a kid, the day that i saw the world more brighten than now when im an adult. 5 years old me walking around the house after back school in rainy day
perfect for studying :) thank u!
I've always found this type of music so nostalgic and relaxing! Thank you for this 💕
I have a hard moments of anxiety because of a future, and i have so many thoughts about the misery and crisis, i worried about my parents, my friends, sometimes i tried to give up, but i listen this tipe of music, i saw relax videos.
You can do it ❤
I completely agree with you
Walking in those fields of grass near the modern clean cities with lots of bubbles and the sun shining down on us just seems amazing tbh
Would you possibly be able to add a tracklist to this anytime soon and put it in the description or the comments? Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
19:11 this is literally what i think frutiger aero sounds like
my favorite frutiger aero playlist!
I remember back, in 2010 the frutiger aero era was still alive. I was 5 years old and even though I know the world never looked like this, whenever I see back in time I actually remember watching the world like this, all clean and beautiful, shiny... I wish frutiger aero would've become sth real. 😢
i will forever love Frutiger aero
the playlist starting off with mii maker is bound to be a good one. Even Lease after- *chefs kiss*
my parents were on the trend too, naming their company: sinogreen, office with green interior and using an apple as logo. I LOVED the vibe everytime i went to their little office, it was so cozy
Is it still there?
you should continue their work but scale horizontally broadening their product/services into new areas so you can bring back the aesthetic
@@optionalresult my mom tried to continue but due to covid it didnt rlly work out cause we moved to whole other continent. there is still a website u can chek it out:)
@@Scientist538 yaaaa my mom suggested that, itd be very cool
@@resxll I wish you the very best in your work for the business
*_____this gives me a surreal yet familiar sense of deja vu from a future lost in another timeline_____*
I see so much positivity, it's nice to see. I'm glad we all got to experience this era.
Hi! I really enjoyed the video!!! It made me feel happy!
Thank you so much for your comment! It means a lot
We need fusion energy.
Нет, человек на такое не способен.
💚💙
MY FAV PLAYLISTTTTTT NOWWWW OMG THANK YOU
This kind of world is genuinely still possible.
Be real!
this is the most real shit out there. dont let the big companies of the world wreck your dome into thinking that your goals and a healthy idea of the future is unattainable. free yourselves, from another person who stays off mainstream social media containing a never ending cesspool of fake news.
agreed
@@audi5009 Thank you for reading!
Couldn't agree more.
"The issue is us" is precisely what makes this impossible. Human nature will never change.

FRUIT ARROW
Great collection! Inspires weird but comforting feelings.
Frutiger Aero is how I imagine the future turned out in Dan Schneider shows.
really hope this turns around and our kids get to have this
Late 1990s and Early 2000s pre 2008 were honestly golden years for Humanity.
I was at a park with ducks and this came on, it felt magical.
Been playing a lot of Tosca lately and their album No Hassle seems like a mature spin on frutiger aero. It is so cool... to me.
Thank you so much for posting this music and pictures. Looks and sounds like ps1 rpg peaceful town music and it gives me hope that the next generation will make things right. Wishing you the best future for you and all the young kids out there 🌟💖🌅
Essa estética me lembra aqueles celulares da Samsung que tinha essa papel de parede e quando vc ía desloquiar fazia tipo um barulho de água. Sdds
as much ae i wish the world could be like that rn, with everyone js vibing, start with yourself, everyone can get a future like this if you find your piece in mind and even though we all wish this our future for all of us, its always better to start small
Brings me back to my childhood
So nice to listen to at work. Thanks for putting this together 💓💓💓
Thank you so so much 💕
After doing a little more research on the topic, this is litteraly my childhood dude! It makes me sad that we may never get this again. But here to hoping! :3
Im literally going insane bc of my mathe hw but this music calmes me down and actually helps me study too slayyyyy
"Two Shadows In The Sun" from Splatoon 3 sounds like it should be in one of these playlists, I think. If you like this sort of thing, I recommend that song.
Im highly grateful that Im finally living a life closer to this aesthetic but my heart aches for the people suffering due to war poverty and politics. This world is not fair😢
This makes me feel good :)
This is how i imagined 2025 when i was 6 (2016) i brings so much nostalgia, wish we could go back to 2015~2019, but its much worse :
UA-cam’s algorithm is just toooo accurate. This thumbnail is just the vibes I was looking for all my life
I wish I could just look outside, and see a windows aero style landscape, instead of seeing the depressing reality of this, cold, dark world.
If I get hired from Microsoft I would bring this back
LOVE THIS SM
the second song is in every single frutiger aero playlist
Something about this picture and vibe makes my eyes feel nice
after september 11 2001, all forms of positive futurism and people looking into the future with possitive probabilities such as frutiger aero aesthetic and way of life- has been reduced. this is due to the fact that after that event, coupled with the fast advancement of technology, people became more distracted and controlled into what is suggested in the internet. people got more scared of the recent terrors. and so the view of the future turned darker- and so that probability is whats being manifested until today. i hope a new renaissance still comes.
feels so healty..
18:17 OMFG I love this
Something about this photo.
It's sad really.
what a banger of a playlist! thank you so much i will listen to this from now on every day ❤
our future is like bad future in sonic cd and the good future is like a future with frutiger aero
lovely playlist, it's so relaxing! thank you so much for putting together this playlist!
i love how you added the song names
I was sitting here reminiscing what it felt like to live in a time when this kind of future felt like a certainty. Then I just realized all the tech+environmental implications of having THAT huge of a lawn of grass
right
10:34 idk why but this song makes me sad, it feels like a movie with a sad ending with music that reminds you of how much you enjoyed the whole movie except for the ending
This better be our future XD
Why wasn't this the future.
Why were we instead met with sharp edges.. minimalism.. and WHITES GREYS AND BORING COLORS EVERYWHERE
Why can't everything be blue and green... and shiny.. and reflective. like this.
This comment deserves more likes
This music feels so familiar like a dream it’s so weird
Yeap, I definitely felt like the future was going to be similar to what is pictured in that first image
this is so beautiful i cry
They say we see the past through rose tinted glasses, well I guess they are green in this case xD
Green like the glass above the entrance of the staircase, while messing with some gadget or my cousin showing me a clip from Layton 1 on his DS Lite...
Green like the default theme on Windows Vista, on the laptop the housewife had brought, spending afternoons watching her play mahjong and being mesmerized by that glass copy animation... Even if the computer was a little sluggish 😅 (I preferred Windows 7 way more)
Green like some of the screensavers in Code Lyoko I guess (or maybe azure), watched religiously after school on the public satellite broadcast, a digital decoder feeding into an analog cathode tv...
