I seriously had a Mandela Effect moment thinking I made this scene up in my head 😭 I’ve seen this movie one hundred times and it’s been awhile… watched it on HBO Max and thought I was trippin’. Ruined my ugly cry moment. The most beautiful scene 😩💔
@@ponzu638 It just ends with Noah laying down next to her and they have the conversation about their love letting them being taken away together. It never shows this scene where they die together 😩
People don't like this end scene, that's why in the cable, they deleted it and left it hanging. But it's such an amazing closure. Thank you for sharing this..
I remember watching this movie at the first time it came out at the end wad so sad, there was not a single dry eye,in the theater ,I had never seen such a heart breaking moment 💔 😢 and it finally hit me so hard because that was how my mother and father passed when I went to check on them in their own 🏠 house and not a care hospice, which neither wanted no part of.
What I loved most about it was the photos at the end , them as they were throughout the years meaning the Allie and Noah ( Rachel and Ryan ) we seen throughout the movie only looked that way because it was a story being told of 2 other people to Allie , to her it wasn't her and him it was characters , the photos at the end was Allie and Noah , I wonder did the characters change everytime the story was told to her because to her it's a new story never heard before 💔 so many people miss that , if Ryan and Rachel the actors were Allie and Noah then it would have been them in the photos but it was not , it was Allie and Noah in real life , not the story , there's no other reason why they went out of they way to edit photos of the 2 older actors that play Allie and Noah in real life to look like they were together other than thats the meaning of it and it's heartbreaking and amazing at same time I love how they used the real actors in their youth to get that across in the photos at the end , it's then you recognise them if your lucky enough to catch that and it's as if they are saying this is how Allie feels , you also get that moment of realising who the story is actually about , I thought that was an amazing heartbreaking ending
I ran here after just finishing watching this on HBO and the last scene was them saying goodnight? Like WTF?? How could they leave out the most impactful part of this movie????
Glad i could finally find the REAL end scene. Feels like closure... makes me happy to see their wish worked and their love was strong enough to take them away together. And when Noah had said he'd be seeing her i feel that was him saying we'll see eachother in the afterlife
Despite their death, this scene was satisfying in a way. Knowing that they were together and each no longer suffering from each other's absence. This scene deserved its accolades.😢❤️
I don’t know why they deleted this scene!! I watched on HBO max. Was so confused I knew I remembered this part. Apparently it was removed because “Americans didn’t appreciate the unhappy ending” I think it’s a beautiful ending!!
imo this IS the happy ending. leaving them alive with the lingering knowledge that they'd wake up and she'd forget all over again is so much more depressing.
I was wondering i just watched this on hbo max but didn’t see this scene and I was like I swear to god I saw the after death scene when I was a kid so of course I went to UA-cam. Thank you comment section for also explaining why the scene was removed
After re-watching, immediately had to go online and watch the real ending. Didn't feel complete with the edited version in streaming. I had to finish my ugly and heartfelt moment.
Had to pull this up because on Amazon they didn’t have this part of the movie at the end! ( we paid to watch it too 😤) Everyone was waiting to cry and everything ! Thanks for this 😁
This scene is beautiful. This is what real love is never letting go the person you live you would rather be taken away together than stay without your one true love. I was so angry when I saw this on hobo max :(
I remember watching this in film class and everyone was crying not a single dry eye I was in the Corner just sobbing my best friend is like are you ok and I just turned to him and was like your going to have to give me a minute
Random comment: This story is so real. Like it has happened to some of you in your past lives. It might happen to some of you in this one too. Alright carry on..
How do you take out one of the best scenes in the movie .. I don't see how people could see it as unhappy considering it was sad she couldn't remember anything ... but I guess there's a population that doesn't like the ending? I'm so confused that was one of the cry moments - literally the best part
So I’m not insane bc the one on MAX certainly didn’t end like this. And yes, I’m about 20 yrs late; I have to be in the mood for this kind of film and it just struck today lol.
Het is een mooi einde. Maar in het boek van Nicholas Sparks "De Bruiloft" blijkt dat Noah niet samen is overleden met Allie. Boek is prachtig. Daarom jammer dat dit boek niet ook is verfilmd.
"I thought the nurse became emotional because she saw them sleeping together, a sign that Allie's memory was back. However, when I read the comments, I couldn't believe that they were dead. 😭😭😭😭
This is a genius work & huge imagination of the author of the same….but unfortunately!?….this never happens in real life for most people DIE ALONE with no one with them. You WILL leave this world the exact same way you got in: Alone Naked & Nothing in your hands….
Why did hbo change the ending? Usually Hollywood only does things like that because of an audience reaction that costs them money. Are people that sensitive that they couldn’t handle the actual conclusion? Do yourself a favor and SAVE all your DVDs and external hard drives. Because soon streaming will make all movies G rated so they won’t offend anyone. It really is too bad. Movies as we know it are getting worse by the year and far more censored.
I'm always takes to be stop Ellie and Noah will be in this scene in the most painful emotional innerself jordan spark always to refrain this story in her book you know why because I'm a man In my words to be always me till now asking my friends your lucky to had written this movie in your #Notebook
Just watched this on HBO and noticed they deleted this scene. Came here to watch it but something felt weird.. it was the music, too cheesy and dramatic, made nosense with the scene. Thanks a lot Jay Hunt for ruining this scene with your extremely generic, cliché and unnecesarilly loud SAD music. (sadness wasn't the emotion here it was peace) people go watch this scene from another video, I strongly recommend it
So we’re all here to watch the real ending. Got it.
absolutely.
I seriously had a Mandela Effect moment thinking I made this scene up in my head 😭 I’ve seen this movie one hundred times and it’s been awhile… watched it on HBO Max and thought I was trippin’. Ruined my ugly cry moment. The most beautiful scene 😩💔

@@ponzu638 this is the original ending.
For some dumb reason who ever is the editor, they removed it….🤷♂️
@@Ryan_1997 I know. I was asking the ending in hbo max.
Same!!!

The People who didn't like it must not of understood the movie...the original ending really matters!

This is how I wanna go holding hands with my everything

I think the end scene is the beauty of this movie. It portrays their love in a way which till date makes us believe that a love like this does exists❤

Ha ha me too
Me too dude me too
I know it sounds awful, but this is the way I wish it had ended in the version I watched. So moving, and yet so powerful and beautiful.
Dang HBO had wrong ending. I remember this ending and ends the movie knowing there love was unbreakable even in death.

HBO Max doesn’t have this scene either, I looked it up because I thought I made it up for a second

I can't believe they removed this part of the damn scene from the f**king movie...like this part really matters!!!
Lowkey, the nurse be crying her eyes out while acting. This scene is so beautiful ❤️
This is a beautiful ending. It shows that their love will always live on, even in the end❤

Yep
i just rewatched this on hbo max and this scene wasn’t there. why would they delete it?? this scene is so important to the ending! not cool smh
It's a beautiful tragedy It's more sad now after James Garner's death in 2014 and now with the passing of Gena Rowlands
Came back for this scene, since on TV they removed it
Finally together in real life in heaven !
It was a happy ending but still very sad at the same time.
Nobody gets out of here alive. Wouldn't that be the most amazing Way to consummate true love.
Watched it on HBO and it didn’t have this scene in it
Stupid hbo max ruined the ending and stopped my crying instantly!
