I don’t think that was a strike. Ball starts inside and barely catches the plate. It’s different than giving that on the outside corner where the ball crosses the entire plate and ends up just off the plate. You can’t extend the inside part of the zone, but you can on outside pitches (inside pitches for lefties).
Last night, at the Ravens @ Broncos game, there were flags thrown for a holding penalty against the ravens and a facemask penalty against the broncos on the same play. The camera cought how the refs talked about the facemask and then decided to not call it at all as if it never existed. Would love to see your lip reading abilities on that play and your opinion, since it was pretty clear refs ignoring to make a call they saw
