Agreed. Many female (and male) characters sharing whip. Even, some unique characters like Diao Chan (formerly: Mace) and Zhenzi (formerly: flute) are holding the whip. Still, love it when Xiao Qiao's moves look innocent while Da Qiao's ones look mature. No need to make them share same characters. Maybe, I'm too old-school. 🤣
As much as DW9 sucked, the character designs were top notch and I love how they brought back the classic musou by combining the rage mode and one-click musou from DW8. 💖
But still.. I hate how they Change many of Iconic Weapons like my Zhong Hui with his Epic Flying Sword or Zhang He's Claw that never since The First Dynasty Warriors, yet here we now.. Like please that's not cool man even he's kinda weird but that still my Childhood
@@yanwilyamk.p.664 They added a lot of weapons back via DLC, and they're now the default weapons in 9 Empires, though only some of the musuos have changed to include them. Yue Jin for example got his Hook Swords back and his musou was changed accordingly so he uses them, whereas Zhang He got his claws back, but he still uses the Throwing Knives in his musou attack. And then there's oddities like Lu Lingqi. She has her Cross Halberds again, but when playing as her she uses the Sword and Shield musou...however when the AI uses her musou she's using her Halberds, throwing one of them into the air in place of the shield. I think in this case though it's just a glitch as she still has the halberd in hand despite throwing it up, meaning there are now 3 halberds lol. In short: they're working on it, and the 2 month delay between the Japanese and English release of 9E might be to iron some of these things out.
They just need to do Dynasty Warriors 3-4-5 with those graphics and good view distance. And more costumes on DW3. This would make so many people happy.
@@okyjos9999 Comfort zone my butt. Tons of recycled moves and gameplay. Only the openworld design is new and its just doesnt cut. Dw7 was more of a “stepping out of comfort zone” move than Dw9. They were just too cocky. Its such a big shame that none of the new designs went into the latest Orochi game (they used Dw8 instead). What a joke.
@@hansonwinx7843 for me the environment is the minus, the gameplay is kinda okay not good and not bad, sad that the usual combo square triangle is gone, but still okay, same moveset is okay for me, atleast make it different for each person like dynasty warrior 5 and give em each different combo instead of literally same weapon same combo effect thats make me kinda lost interest playing this game
I remember the first ever dynasty warriors playing those as a kid and it was so much fun. I always thought they should make a online game version of this with live scale sieges etc.

Nah hold up, this guy did something wrong. They gave back Zhang He's claws and Zhang Fei's Serpent Spear in DW9, and when I was playing the demo for Empires, I saw them both using their new weapons. Dude must've changed some settings.

@@Yata544 No, don't you remember all those weapons they added as DLC for Zhou Tai, Lu Lingqi, etc back in base DW9? It's like DW8 Empires if you ever played it, they're going to do the same thing; make the weapons permanent for them. Zhou Tai has his original weapon, Lu Lingqi has her cross pike, and Zhenji has her flute back. There's alot more too.

Why did they take the iconic claw from Zhang He. It was a such a classic and a signature of the character. He was majestic with those claws as a weapon

個人的には爽快感より作業感強い。なんか軽い。薄っぺらい。兵士ではなく塵芥を相手に掃除でもしてるように感じる。無双だけでなく通常モーションもそう。流麗にはなったものの、お陰で敵を攻撃しているというよりは一人で踊っているように感じる。どこぞの剣豪じゃないけど、武というより舞。
今でも2,3,4は楽しめる

７だけプレイした勢だけど、だいぶ武器変更されたというか少なくなってるな
