At least a large number of characters retain their prior EX Attacks from DW7 and/or 8 used as some of their moves (and as their R1+O specials) in spite of their new weapons.
I'm still sad by their choices of weapon.. some clone weapons are fine.. but the other not so much.. Diao Chan, Zhen Ji = whip, fine.. Cai Wenji = whip, not fine.. Fa Zheng and new guy = Whip Sword, fine.. Zhang Chunhua = Whip Sword, not fine.. the trio wizard = staff, totally fine.. Lu Lingqi & Xing Cai = Sword n Shield, fine.. the new girl = Sword n Shield, not so much.. Throwing Knives only fit Wang Yuanji, the others Zhang He and Xun Yu dont quite fit, tho i love Xun Yu's Musou.. Ballistic Spear looks weird imo.. It is hard to fine fitting weapon for Guo Huai tbh.. Jia Chong fits, but better Tomahawk.. Zhou Tai needs his Katana.. as well as Sun Ce with his Tonfa.. and Xu Shu with his Sword n Dagger.. they need to something about the og bow user, because the bow side weapon got implemented, they have to remove bow as main weapon.. Guan Xing needs better fitting weapon..
I'd say the 8 version weapons were better, also they r all have 3 musou attacks each character, but here they only have 2😂 still the best Dynasty Warriors goes to 4, but I like 5,6 and 8 too😂
@@fdeovana not all 8th version are better.. Zhang Bao for instance, his new weapon fits him much better, and besides that old weapon is weird, his outfit got improved as well.. Tho yes many prefer their old weapon and moveset.. If they ever make a Dynasty Warriors 10, i just hope they listen to us player.. Take the good from DW9 and throw away the bad thing.. Perhaps only on the main city, keep the outfit change between battle and non battle.. - DW9E Edit Mode This is by far the best one, especially with the upgraded graphics, the downside is that they put old outfits behind DLC.. - Graphics Well, obviously The stuff that they should include from older gen DW games: - DW5XL Destiny Mode The only way we got to immerse ourselves to your edit character story - Stages The stages becomes too simple in DW9. just a random hack and slash with no mind put into it.. most look similar to one another.. it needs that titbits from older gen DW.. - More "default" Costume Like how they did it in DW5XL, when u play u get to use 4 different outfits, 1 recolor, 2 old gen outfits, this gives more options without doing a whole new outfits.. For weapons tho, they should still remove some of the weird weapons.. as much as i love Huang Gai's Boat, Li Dian Wheel thing.. they are still weird and felt out of place

I think they need a reboot game. Reduce character, make more gore. Return back old musou game style like crazy armies, a bodyguard.
