How to: Jaguar X Type Halogen headlight bulb change

Need to know what's involved in changing bulbs on an X-Type halogen headlight? Given that most of this will be carried out without direct visibility it pays to be aware of what you're doing and I hope this guide will be of use to you.
Please be careful - if your headlight adjusters are original you are only a firm push away from breaking them.

I can certainly put a video together for this. If the headlights seem to be too low, do check that the level adjusters aren't broken.

Always tear the backs of my hands up fiddling about with those damn connectors, and trying to figure out how the hell I got the rear cover off when I want to get it back on again, without being able to actually see what I'm doing!

Very good video, I would like to know if you have a video on the location of the turn signal relay or flasher for a 2007 Jaguar x-type .I've checked under the and under the dashboard .Can you please help me .

Thanks for the feedback. I believe the turn signal control is located in the instrument panel. This is why if a bulb fails, externally the lights flash at the same speed but in the instrument panel it flashes twice as fast.
