I watched your video, Ordered a Lenz from a breakers yards for £38 on e-bay & watched another video on UA-cam on how to remove an X-type headlamp. In 2 hours I had removed the headlight changed the Lenz & back on the road...If I had gone to a dealer it would have been £800....Thanks very much for posting this...Regards, Douglas Green.
Damn, I just spotted a little bit of white plastic inside my light and I was kind of confused as to how it made its way in there. It looks suspiciously like part of one of these adjusters. Goddammit that looks like a messy job! I absolutely hate these kinds of jobs where you have to heat up and remove sticky stuff.
Hello I have a jaguar x type and my headlights go around when I touch them to change a bulb for example and so the light is completely out of order jaguar tells me that the headlights are broken and they must be replaced but it costs a fortune and when I saw your video I think that these adjuster that are perhaps broken but the problem I can not find these small part is that you still have an address. Hi there great video,i too have the same problems on both of them,i bought the full kit adjusters on Ebay,but i would be curious to know about the 600,1500,3000,Waterproof paper that you've high lighted i presume to clean the lenses ,can you tell me how have you used to get them that clean and shine please?Thanks
It would have been very beneficial if you had given us a better view of the adjuster and compared them with the replacements you would have given everyone a huge advantage on exactly what needed to be done! Looking at what I received as the rplacements parts, I'm not sure what goes where by juzt looking at the video and 😮what was it that you drilled out? Again a simple side by side illustration would've solved tmhe problem.
siema pawel. great video btw, another one. im not sure you are still driving x-type nowadays but my question is if i can find these PA66 or similar in Allegro. Also, instead of using the hot gun, can i use the owen? and what should be the temperature and how long? Dziekujemy!!! Pozdro!

That's good, just seeing what is inside the light. Now to figure out how to do it without taking the whole headlight apart. I'll think of something, whether it works or not.
Please excuse my rebuttal kind Sir, but isn't it true you allow water to enter the lamp body by destroying the sealing as seen at 1:02 to 1:34 so that the entire lamp body becomes moist inside which affects the safety by decreasing the luminosity firstly and secondly the typically overwhelming and perfectly structured appearance of one of these gorgeous english motorcarriages? ;) or what do you do to make the system leakproof again after your act of refurbishing? So from looking at my X-type the whole front bumper has to come off right??
Yes to remove headlight from the Car you must remove Bumper first.

AMV12VanquishS if you made a mess and can't reuse the adhesive by "reheating" then use fresh glue, preferably one intended for the application
