Wow! I truly enjoyed watching your short doco. If you have already visited, I recommend that you visit PNG and West Papua. The birdwatching, landscapes and people are all breathtakingly incredible! Visiting PNG and West Papua will change your life for the better.

Great photo of the cock Red browed finch race minor! Smaller and much more spectacular coloured bird, than the nominate species found down south! Cock birds have the black vent and hens grey.

Great video. You got all the summer migrant such as Paradise Kingfisher, Scrub-Robin and Pitta.- I''m jealous. I think you'll find the cuscus is a Southern Common Cuscus (not common or southern in Australia). We saw one around Cook's Hut campground in 2016 and saw a Spotted Cuscus along one of the tracks in 2011.

Thank you. Yes I think you are right about the Cuscus. I couldn’t find much information about them online. Also I am a bird man, mammals I’m not so sure on.

Amazing photography! Thanks for uploading. A version without the music would be appreciated. Your photography and narration is wonderful as it is!

Thanks Richard. I have tried without the music, the vids just seem too ‘quiet’. Unfortunately I’m restricted with non copyright music. I don’t always get a lot of nature sounds recorded, even in cape York there was a lot of people chatting in the background.
