Hello. I am so happy to be able to meet Australia's beautiful nature and birds. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video. I will watch it often.
It was great to see the treecreepers casually defying gravity along the tree trunks. ^_^ Nuthatches do that in the U.S., and it's a fun show I could watch for hours. Beautiful footage of the swift parrots, too. Some of the mid-action shots you took are sheer comedy. And it's always interesting to learn which birds tuck their feet over their wings to scratch their faces, versus bring their feet up by their bellies for same. This video added another in the over-wing category for me.
Thanks for the info. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I will be in the States later this year, will do some birding while there maybe I will see a nuthatch.
Fantastic work and you have a real talent for recording video footage, Roger! Your beautiful took me back to the 3 sessions I had at Chiltern at the end of April and the first of May. I'll definitely be looking at more of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing them.
Thank you for the kind feedback. I wish I had more time there, so much more to see. Plenty more birds to watch in my other videos I hope you enjoy them (my recent ones are better production quality then the older ones)
I really enjoyed watching your mammal and bird observation video, especially the beautiful swift parrot. Thanks for sharing. A big LIKE from me. Greetings from Singapore.
Thank you I hope you find my videos informative and entertaining. Get yourself a good bird guide, book for starters, then start identifying birds around your home. Then learn some basic facts about them. Slowly look for birds further from home, and expand your knowledge. It is a really fun hobby and you get to learn a lot of natural history along the way
I don’t know about the bird, but I was tapping my feet to your music.🤗
Haha thank you
❤fantastic ❤
Thank you
Very nicely done
Thanks Tim
Fantastic footage and photos, loved the Yellow-tufted's and the stunning Swift photos 👏👏👏
Thank you Sonia. The yellow-tufteds were so fun to watch
Saw your photos on eBird. We went to Cessnock to try swift parrots but didn't see any. We did see regent honeyeaters though! Great photos as usual.
Thank you. The regent would have been a great find! I will be featuring them in my next video.
@@RogersBirdingHotspots Can't wait!

Great footage of the birdlife. The scarlet robins featured were both male and female.
Ooh thank you, I will make note of that in the video description.

Terrific video as usual Roger. 🙈 Straited pardalote, was bent, now strait 😂
Haha just noticed the typo, never mind we all know the real name.
Loved it all but the Yellow tuffted honeyeater footage was the best. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it, the yellow tuffteds were quite spectacular to watch
Great video as always Roger. A hotspot I'll definitely have to visit one day
Well worth the effort.
That was great man!
How good to see the swifties:) Lucky you.
Looks like a pretty cool spot too.
That slow mo footage is very easy to watch:)
Thanks a lot Craig. I was very fortunate to see them, but made the most of what I saw.
Thanks so much for taking the time to create this great video....Chiltern is on my bucket list and this has been so helpful 😊
Thank you. It is well worth the visit.
There was no chilled terns ?
😂 need to go to Antarctica to see them 🥶
I absolutely love birds and watching them. How did you obtain such good knowledge of bird species? Would love to do what you do.😊

@@RogersBirdingHotspots thank you so much. Great idea, will try that. Awesome content.
@@stellau3028 thank you, happy birding
Great footage…how long do the swift parrots hang around in chiltern?
Thank you. I think that they may be around most of the winter, then head back to Tassie as the temp warms up.
