Phew! That was a lot to cover 😊 Thank you so much for your love and support recently! I know I hyped up the vegan peanut butter cups so please don't tell Alicia I'm sharing the recipe here but they're SO GOOD and so easy to make you HAVE to try them! 👌 #1 - put 5 graham crackers or digestive biscuits in a bag and crush them using a rolling pin into fine crumbs (or use a food processor if you have one). #2 - mix 1/2 cup of plant butter, 3/4 cup peanut butter, 3/4 cup of the crackers/biscuit crumbs, and 1/4 cup maple syrup in a pot over medium heat. #3 - Remove from heat and divide into muffin cups (~2tbsp per cup) #4 - Combine 1/4 cup plant-based milk and 1 cup non-dairy chocolate in a pot on medium heat until melted. Remove from the heat and spoon over the peanut butter cups. *optional: add some chopped pecans, almonds or peanuts over top #5 - Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving. I’m a new subscriber and I just wanted to say, my favourite thing about your videos (part of the reason I subscribed) is how much research you put into them. They’re so well-informed and clear, it never feels like you’re just spouting random things, it’s proper information and research.
I read an interview with SMG and she said she was restricted to 1200 calories a day and wondering if that meant she could eat more at night (a joke - but I think she was indicating that she was always hungry)
I'm a vegan and I have a cat - I would never give her a vegan diet. She's VERY interested in my food, but I don't let her touch it because it's not what she should be eating. This is my choice, not hers. Equally, when I have kids I will raise them vegan, but will let them experiment elsewhere, such as other people's houses. I will obviously raise them to understand why I think this is the best way to live - as anyone does with their morals and their children - but I don't want to restrict them so much that they rebel out of resentment.
Our family went plant-based a few years ago for specific health reasons (and yes, it worked so we continue to eat that way,) but I let our son eat meat several times a year and also at restaurants if choices are limited, etc. Because we're also Celiac, sometimes allowances have to be made and we have to be flexible because eating out sometimes ends up a choice between a real allergy and a non-mandatory lifestyle. And sometimes it's just fun for him to eat that way. He should be able to choose. I don't want to be that overbearing mom whose rules are too strict that they become abusive and give him an eating disorder or something. I've told him that although he chose to go plant-based with us, he's free to change his mind. If he grows up and decides it's not for him, so be it. Lord knows I've tried all kinds of different diets over the years and I turned out ok. I've educated him about the science behind what we're doing, but ultimately, it's his life. I wouldn't be happy if I had to live exactly like my parents did forever, and I can't imagine my son would, either.
Please don't make your kids do it as infants, so many infants have died because they didn't get the breast milk or formula they needed. It's neglect and they can take your kids away if you do because it's so dangerous. Once they're eating solid food you're in the clear and it'll be perfectly healthy to switch them to vegan diets if you so choose. Just trying to help.
@@lunaraynwolf7036 Breast milk is vegan. I mean, that's it's intended purpose. Like how cows milk is for feeding baby cows, human breast milk is for feeding baby humans. It doesn't involve the exploitation of another species. I think the word "milk" is throwing you off?
Depends on the pet! Obviously some pets are naturally vegan. Dogs can be safely vegan as long as they are getting all the nutrients they need from their diet. There are specially formulated vegan dog foods, and vets will sometimes recommend a vegan diet for dogs with certain health conditions. Obviously check with your vet to make sure your dog is healthy and their diet is nutritionally adequate :)
@Zenith Lots of dogs are put on plant based diets for medical conditions, and some vegans may choose to feed their dogs nutritionally adequate plant based diets to limit animal exploitation and suffering :) I’m not trying to do anything haha
Hey! That's actually not true, let me tell you why: It really depends on the pet. :) For cats, it's not recommended and can lead to sickness, with dogs however it's conpletely different! Studys show that a vegan diet leads to a healthier dog, with a longer life expectation. :) I am a dogsitter myself and have seen dogs on vegan and normal diets. And in my experience, the ones on a vegan diet look healthier (shiny fur, right body weight, more energy, less sickness). But I did see similar results with dogs that got a diet that wasn't based solely on canned food. Plus, I think for many dog owners, the meat is mostly not the problem. Its more about the quality or the lack there of!
I've been a strict ethical Vegan for close to 8 years now, with my twin sister as well. Truly the best decision we've ever made. We've never been happier or healthier!

I love this video and appreciate you getting expert opinions and telling both sides of the story. One thing I do have to note as a veterinary assistant who spent 10 years working at a veterinary hospital (which implies that I'm by no means an expert since I'm not a veterinarian, but I've worked with dozens of vets and hear their recommendations): The FDA and AAFCO (the two American governing bodies of pet food) have approved several vegetarian and/or vegan dog foods brands and deem them as "complete and balanced nutrition for dogs" with no extra supplementation needed. In fact, there are actually prescription vegetarian diets for pets who suffer from severe protein allergies. I will say though, most veterinarians HIGHLY discourage homemade vegetarian/vegan pet diets because it is far too easy to miss key nutrients that way. But brands like Natural Balance, V-Dog, Halo, and Wild Earth (among others) should be safe to exclusively feed to dogs (not cats!) because they contain appropriate levels of all necessary nutrients. Always discuss with your pets veterinarian though if you want to play it safe and have any concerns.
Thank you for the insight! I wish I could've included the full hour of my discussion with Skylar in here - she also advises her clients to avoid cooking their pets' food unless they want to commit to meticulously ensure they are including all necessary nutrients and to not underfeed the pets - but instead she recommends those brands you mentioned as they're already balanced :)

Could you review “Daily Harvest”. I’ve been thinking of using it as a way to control portions and lose weight but I’m worried about the protein content tbh. I’m sure adding protein powder to a smoothie and sneaking in a bar or some other form of protein would help. Edit: kids can be vegan if they is a strong focus on nutrition and the doctors are aware and look for signs of malnutrition. Some pets can be vegan. Cats can not be vegan, you will kill them.
Isn’t it hypocritical to feed your animal a vegan diet? because if you care about animal welfare you would know that if they were in their natural habitat they wouldn’t be vegan. Love your videos btw
This was interesting. THANK YOU for mentioning your research on the supplement! I’ve never had it before either and it was very good to know ahead of time. I’ve been vegan for a few years of my life but I’ve since become vegetarian and on occasion eat fish (even rarer, less than once a month do I eat chicken, but no other meat). Anyway I want to get back to a whole vegan diet but it requires so much work and so much research! I think I will check out her recipe books now! Thanks for this video! :)
Just subscribed after watching the other diet videos too! This one was my favorite though because I’m vegan as well and just got new recipe inspiration! Considering buying her cookbook 😁
I want to go vegan so bad!!! I was a vegetarian for a while but unfortunately I was only motivated due to an eating disorder. I'm healthy today and would like to try veganism, but afraid of falling into old habits. If anyone has gone through something similar or has any tips on self-help books that touch on this topic, it would be greatly appreciated!
I know right?! She has a website called The Kind Life and if you Google the name of her book I believe she has shared a few recipes in interviews on a few other websites :)
I'm sorry but if you force a carnivore to be vegan, that is abuse and it's ironic coming from someone who loves animals so much. Humans are omnivores and developing children shouldn't be forced to be vegan either and it is actually illegal to put your kids on a vegan diet in some countries.
I try to eat mostly plant-based but some days, I'm just not organised well enough and cheat. I think done well, it is a very nutritious and ethical way to eat

So interesting! Had no idea about this side of her life. Congrats on all the subscribers 🥰🥰
Thank you so much 🤗💖
Could you review “Daily Harvest”.
You are awesome! Great series and no pressure! 😀
Thank you so much 😊💕
WOW. This video actually makes me want to buy that cookbook. All of the meals looked amazing.
Yes keep this series going! Love these videos!
Please keep up the good work! Love your content!
Thank you so much 😊🙏🏻💖
I love vegan babes Alicia Silverstone and Natalie Portman!! 💚💚💚
You are incredible and very underrated 🤎❤️
Aww you're too sweet! Thank you so much 🤗💖
This is such a cool series for the 90s maybe 90210?
And the 2000s as well actually.
Beans are a source of protein and they are healthy.
Just subscribed after watching the other diet videos too! This one was my favorite though because I’m vegan as well and just got new recipe inspiration! Considering buying her cookbook 😁
Thank you for joining! 💞 To be honest it is a really good cookbook 😊
This series is too cute, love it 😍🔥🔥🔥

Hii, love these series! Could you please do young Britney Spears?
Love your content!!
I love your content :)
Thank you 🤗💞
I want to go vegan so bad!!!
Baywatch diet next pls!!
do fran fine!!! she has an incredible body
Wow! Delicious looking recepies!! I would love to try them! Could you indicate where we could find a written recipe? Thank you!!! :)
I know right?! She has a website called The Kind Life and if you Google the name of her book I believe she has shared a few recipes in interviews on a few other websites :)
@@JessicaVianaa Thanks!
I'm sorry but if you force a carnivore to be vegan, that is abuse and it's ironic coming from someone who loves animals so much. Humans are omnivores and developing children shouldn't be forced to be vegan either and it is actually illegal to put your kids on a vegan diet in some countries.
Hey! Could you try the Victoria Secret Supermodel diet?
Now I gotta get her cookbook
Looks good but a little too much work. I like quick and easy!!
Can You share vegan cupcakes recipe, please?
Just left it in the pinned comment! 😊
I try to eat mostly plant-based but some days, I'm just not organised well enough and cheat. I think done well, it is a very nutritious and ethical way to eat
What video were you following for the yoga? It looks like a really good sequence.
new sub here, love your vids!

love your videos! I do wanna let you know that I'm p sure that's not how to use the bamboo steamer lol
Nooo I made sure to ask the lady as I was paying at the till, don't tell me she lied to me lol 😭
If someone has fast metabolism they also feel hungry faster. So it's not how it really works with teenagers.
I like your videos so much🥰
Aww thank you so much, I’m happy you enjoy them 🥰🙏🏻
Hi could you review Halle berry’s diet
I'm about 90% vegan (I will have a vegetarian meal at a restaurant if they don't have a vegan option), and I definitely don't go as hard as these recipes 😂 Maybe someday
2009 is not recently lol but it feels like it
I think you slay queen
❤❤❤
