Walked into Galactic Quest with my family and overheard the owner talking about a UA-cam channel that sounded way too familiar and I jumped in and asked if they were talking about Kurt’s Comic Review (our fam has enjoyed your videos for a while now!). Turns out you’d left just about 15 minutes before we arrived! Really fun getting to hear about our favorite reviewer of comics getting to visit our favorite shop. Looking forward to the upcoming videos about all the Georgia shops!
My favorite part is when you say, "Sometimes I like little cars!" Being a comic collector since in the 1970s, I also feel strangely attracted cars and will go digging through Hotwheels bins at supermarkets looking for Batman cars. I can totally relate to sometimes wanting little cars 😅
Fantastic. I'm so glad you stopped at Augusta Book Exchange. That was the very first comic store where I had a pull box. Galactic Comics in Statesboro was my second comic store I had a box at, back when the Father ran the Pawa Shop and his sons ran the comic store. Now it's Kapow Comics and Games in Cumming. I love this place, not just because I own it.
Wow! I lost count, but I have around 20 to 30 of the comics you bought. You have great taste sir! I like that you can still have fun with kiddie comics like Dennis the Menace. I have a small collection myself. Best buy was Astro City imo, that's a great series.
I have a soft spot for Joe Palooka comics. Just a fun time in comics that a boxer could carry his own strip and then comic book series. The X-Men and Superman issues also can't be beat.
After doing all that travelling, do you actually get around to reading them? I would love to be able to do something similar in the UK, but there are to few comic shops anywhere near each other! Very envious!
My to-read stack is embarrassingly high, but I’ve been trying to collect entire runs of series - like the first 50 issues of alpha flight, or maybe 70 issues in a row of iron man - before I read them all at once. Someday I’ll do every shop in Europe, after I finish the US!
Calm down bro ! Those wife’s you talk about are Unicorns. I have a Unicorn but I also seen & witnessed Donkeys & there’s a hell of a lot more Donkeys in the playing field
I did. I found it pretty good to be honest. Personally I’ve never read any Wonder Woman comics before this issue. My knowledge only comes from the two movies & that’s it.
@@T-M-N-T thanks for the recommendation. I know you are a busy man not to mention you just got back from touring George’s finest comic book retailers, but do you think you’ll ever make it to visit Indiana comic shops?
I did read it! I liked it. Should I review it? Good question. I would love to eventually do every state, and there’s a good chance I’ll focus on the Midwest states first; the biggest hurdle is the money.
Female comic fan here: If I had a boyfriend or husband who liked comics, I would just demand that he take me with him the next time he goes comic shopping.
"They got a little bit of water damage but they still read just fine" that's the spirit! 😂

Kyle told me about you guys! Bummer, I would’ve loved saying hey.
I had so many of those Die Cast Marvel Characters as a kid! Really brings me back
Love the haul Kurt! It was a pleasure having you In-Store!! Come back to Sentinel Comics whenever you want!

That story of Columbus comics is very relatable as someone who had been there twice

Comics are awesome
Everything you got at Neighborhood Comics is stellar, but the Liberty Meadows trades are gold! You never see those!
Nice haul! Looking forward to seeing the detailed store videos. In the meantime, I'll be filling up my gas tank...
The other day - i found a bunch of 90’s star trek comics! (Singles.)
4:16 cool!
I believe there is a comic shop that you didn't go to and that was Great Escape Comics in Marietta, GA.
I went there on the last day! I just didn’t buy anything that visit
Love seeing stuff like this
Hope the poison ivy is healing …

Have you read “atari force”?
I have a few issues of it.
Its quite a time capsule.
Jupiters legacy is cool .
Kurt, did you read absolute wonder woman?
