- Like the automobile, there are many types of motorcycles that fit many priorities. The BMW R nineT emphasizes fun, comfort, and style over all else. And sometimes, that's all you want.

This bike has everething you need to have a great ride anywere you want to go.
Simplicity is better in a gorgeus looking bike.
Thanks for sharing
A CENTURY OF THIS BMW MOTORCYCLE!? WOW!
@daily motor I can absolutely second the “more novice friendly” aspect. I rented a 2016 pure in Fort Lauderdale a few years ago, I had been riding less than a year at that point. Inside of about an hour of riding it, I felt comfortable putting my wife on the back for our first two up experience. I love these models
Thanks Charlie, good to see you!
Nice review. I think you're right... this bike suits road mode best. At least you didn't go Noob and test it in rain only!
But everyone gets that twist wrong. It's not the opposing pistons - since they'd cancel each other. It's the longitudinal shaft twisting as output from those pots.
This bike twerks!
I've owned the 2015 model and put all Rizoma accessories on it, and it was beautiful. I had to let go of it after 25k miles. I'd have to say that the oil burns really fast on this bike. Make sure to check every week so the engine doesn't freeze up on you. It happened to me, and I didn't even have an oil leak.
Just came across this, nice review and ride, I'm a fan of the R9T range, and this one is gorgeous, I need it in my garage, it would excel on the country roads of the Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Wolds, and North Yorkshire Moors.
haha,.. would be awful in Lancashire though :)
I have a low milage aluminium tank 2019 UK sport model without the 2021 upgraded flyby wire / cruise control / rider modes / LED front light, that I bought second-hand. I threw in a few trick parts, Ti Akra headers, Kineo spoked wheels with 6" rear, Ohlins suspension, rubber tank pads, bar end mirrors and a sargent seat. The total cost was about 50% of this bike new.... but horses for courses the 100-yr does have a lovely paint scheme.
Its so beautiful. This (not the 100 year edition) is the last bike I rode on the bmw demo because I thought there was no way I would fit on it but I was pleasantly surprised when I rode it. If I had the money to have this as a second bike I would 100% buy one.
see above
Thanks for the review. Love everything about the bike ... except that maroon seat. Should be black. I assume it would be an easy swap
The tail light needs removing and aftermarket shorter version putting in.
is it a good bike for someone whose tall??
Gonna learn how to ride a bike next week, and I've been looking for my first bike. I honestly like 900cc+ bikes, and I'd like to start with lower power than that. Knowing that this bike has this "rain mode" encourages me to buy this bike. Plus, it's gorgeous. What about the maintenance, replacement parts, etc. Since it's a limited edition, do you think I will struggle in those areas?
The bike doesn't kick in that fast and would be a good one for a first-timer.
@@ylafla I got the XSR700 and I love it. I've rode almost 2K miles, but I already feel that I need a more powerful one. 🥲
Much of what gives this bike character is what’s not there.
How fun are can am 3 wheelers compared to motorbikes? Thanks. 2 wheels down
Got a video just for that! ua-cam.com/video/M0WgVU60ADM/v-deo.html
It's a different kind of fun, but still very fun.
20K. Goh.
