This is a fantastic video!!!! I take my MSF this November and yesterday, purchased a Ninja 500 SE Black and Red. I'm so excited to get rolling!!! Thank you for sharing and helping us newbies along. 🥰
Over here in Europe we have the A, A2 and A1 licenses , A1 is 11kw power max , A has no restrictions and A2 has a restriction on 35 kw of power ,the A2 license has no restrictions in torque so i can get a harley that has 47 hp and a shit ton of torque , personally i recommend people do this , here in Europe you can buy the mt 07 and cbr650r and other bikes of that range , with a A2 restrictor where it doesnt let the bike make over 35kw of power , and after the first oil change ask them to unrestrict your bike , and they will, and in the registration it will say its still restricted , so you dont need to get the A license
No Dealer is going to Take the Restriction of an A2 Motorcycle Without seeing a Full License Pass & you would be in a "Shit Ton of Trouble" if you have an accident And your Insurance Company finds Out ! 😮

@ one of my friends had a crash with his unrestricted a2 motorcycle with an ilegal exhaust and he was at fault and the police and insurance didnt care he got payed the amount of the damages by his full coverage insurance , here in portugal things work diferently maybe in your country its more strict

Such a beautiful video, thanks for posting. this kind of riding would be my goal. Beginner rider here, will be picking up my new Kawa 500 SE/ABS and riding home in a couple of days: nervous but excited;
Thanks! Yeah SoCal is some of the best riding. Good luck! Stay within your skills, have confidence, trust the bike, ride with a clear mind, and wear a helmet!
You would be so happy.bin Australia sold out and dealers lying saying October -Christmas delivery when there no 40th anniversary SE in the shipments coming 🤬
If you wear proper gear, crashing really isn’t that bad physical-wise. Ask me how I know. Also, if you DON’T wear proper gear, crashing on the highway going 96 MPH really fkn sucks. Ask me how I know… Lol. Just wear full gear and you’ll pretty much be well-taken care of if things go sideways. Which is extremely rare in reality tbh.
Which airbag are you using? I Tried buying airbag jacket but local Honda Kawasaki Husqvarna dealer doesn't sell them. I'll find them somewhere but still unsure on type
Helite products, I use the backpack, turtle 2 vest, and their leather jacket, depending on what riding I'm doing. You can find the link below in the description
im very close to getting my first bike and have been trying to decide between getting a sportier bike bc of insurance, but the base cost of this bike is very nice. So maybe the extra bit for insurance is worth
The insurance for the N500 isn't bad. The displacement keeps it pretty low granting faired bikes are a bit more. The real jump in insurance happens at 600 sport bikes and up.
Just bought mine and took it out on the road today to start break in period. Is it normal for it to gear indicator to blink at me to shift even at low speeds? I had to go on 4th gear even at 25-30mph. Thanks for the vid btw
You can adjust it. It's set ridiculously low (4000 rpm, I think) off the lot. Just go into the settings. I bumped mine to 6K for break-in and now at 8500. It's a Kawasaki, so pretty bulletproof. Just don't bang it off the limiter all the time when new. Great little bike. Enjoy.
I started on a 650, they don't have that power band you talk about. The zx6r(600) as soon as you hit 8k rpm then I gives that feeling. Crazy it's like a light switch
Just brought the Anniversary 500 Monday as a first bike and I love it. I'm learning fast and it's forgiving.

I think this Ninja 500 is the sweet spot in power and agility in a sport bike. Just perfect for the beginner and the seasoned rider.
Great review ...places me right in the rider's cockpit.
You sir, are an outstanding rider.

Getting my 500 Anniversary ABS in November, so hyped!

Looks like so much fun on the twisties
Best beginner bike on the market?! Hard to beat is the n500
Great review
Those are sick twistie roads😂
Another great review. I was just up there in Malibu last weekend on my 2019 NC750X. I wonder if our paths crossed.
It's possible! Ride on!
I love riding, it's the crashing that scares me
Agreed, so I choose not to

Vibrations? Handlebars, foot pegs and seat?
You don't LOSE the back seat with the SE. It just has a cowl that you can remove.
Right, I realized that
@@DailyMotor Though compared to the 650, IMO, you do basically lose it. lmfao
Sounds like this would make a great super light weight short touring machine. Maybe a cross country adventure? You know just to see if you can do it.
Honestly wouldn't be that bad. Very smooth

Kasasaki did not "bore the motor out." They added stroke.
Ah, thanks!

I would recommend you test ride as many bikes as you can before purchase. Good luck.

Can you ride a motorcycle with the permit?
What do you mean by you lose the passenger seat? I got the SE and it comes with the seat and a cowl
Oh good! That makes sense, actually. Thanks for letting us know
Doesn't the SE come with a passenger seat included? I'm pretty sure if you bought one, you get both the colored cover and passenger seat.
Yes, I was mistaken.

Nice! That might be for break in, and it might be customizable in the screen.

Hey Charlie, good vidio, greetings from Argentina🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷! Btw, what car do ya drive?
Thanks! I have a 1999 Ford F-350 Lariat with the 7.3 Powerstroke

does anyone know if u can make it not keyless?
idk if thats a dumb question i am rather new to bikes
The non-SE model has a normal key.
@@DailyMotor thank you friend, I appreciate the info ☺
Wrong side bro, you should always drive on the left side of road
Why the left and not the right?
You should always be in whatever part of the lane makes you most seen and gives you best control of the situation ahead.
Lmao and go to jail for reckless driving. I hope you're kidding.
The zx4r has raised clip ons......it has the EXACT same seating position as the ninja 500
Oh good to know! I'm sure the raised clip ons make it feel different though, yeah?
