GSX-S1000GT+ ARROW Exhaust First Impressions: A Sound to Experience! 🚀

- Model: ARROW Exhaust 71938PRN - Slip-On Pro-Race Nichrom "Dark Silencer". (Consult your local Suzuki specialist for fitment.)
First Impressions:
🔊 Louder than stock? Yes, but just the right amount.
🎵 Deep, refined tone that matures beautifully with time.
❌ Zero raspiness; pure, unadulterated exhaust note.
💨 Deceleration pops? Barely noticeable and only under hard engine braking.
🚗 Feel that surge? While the "butt-dyno" suggests an invigorating 10 HP boost, what's more palpable is the exhilaration you feel every time.
😃 The sheer joy at various speeds and conditions is undeniable. We've clocked countless smiles per mile.
The Backstory:
On my prep for a cross-state ride from Delaware to Texas, I felt the itch to upgrade. New tires? Check. Spark plugs and air filter? Check. And the perfect opportunity to revamp my bike's voice? Absolutely.
Enter Mike from Mad4Motorsports in Newark, DE. He introduced me to ARROW. I'll admit, my first thought was, "Isn't that the logo on my Sedici jacket?" Yet, it wasn't long before I recognized the unmatched quality and finesse of ARROW. And while Mike hoped for a few more decibels, I've found the sound pitch perfect.
The verdict? Each rev reveals a symphony that gets richer and more resonant. And the best part? While the GSX-S1000GT+ roars with passion, it purrs with elegance between 2-3k RPM, making for a serene cruising experience.
Don't just take my word for it, listen for yourself and let the GSX-S1000GT+ serenade you! 🎶
P.S.: Stay tuned for updates as I clock more miles and memories with this beast!

I have the titanium one on my naked. It sure made a different in the sound. Not super crazy, but enough. Now I want the arrow headers. Pricey though.
I am switching to full exhaust in the next few months. Stay tuned.
@@FullThrottleExistentialist I might do a de cat. Or headers, i am not sure yet.
Switch completed! Went with a Lextek full exhaust. No more meow.

Im going from a GSXR1000R to a 2024 GSXS1000GT+, done with the sore wrists and elbow joints. Don't get me wrong even with that I looooovvvveeee my Gixxer, just started getting into more sport touring with friends which is far more fun so am switching up.
I absolutely love my GSX-S1000GT+. LOVE. I can't get enough. It is a sport bike if you want it to be. A touring bike if not. Or both at the same time. With a tune and full exhaust it is a beast! Do you have a channel or IG? Where have you toured through?
That sounds lovely! Really great audio recording, too. How was the road trip? Cheers, from New Hampshire.
There was a chance of plans, unfortunately... More to come. Thanks for the compliments and thank you for asking.

That's the plan... or something to that effect.

@@andreasalbrecht7157 correct,
Bonjour.
Compatible avec le gsxs 1000 GX ??
Merci
I don't know. Sorry. They have the same engine and I suspect they share exhaust design. There may be a need to adapt the muffler mounting point but it shouldn't be difficult to do. I've since changed my exhaust to a full Lextek exhaust, by the way, and I'm thrilled with the results. Check out the exhaust in action here: ua-cam.com/video/de12aXn9Mkg/v-deo.htmlsi=ZG1QAeg_og9Nk9UU

can you use side bags or does the exhaust cause problems or tend to burn the plastic?
Doesn't seem to affect the bag but I've added heat resistant material to the bottom to make sure.
Can you share details of the heat resistant material you added to the bags?

@@samyyz I used adhesive heat shield on the bottom of the bag.
Thanks.

I have a Lextek full system now.
Hi my friend I just bought gsx s 1000 gx I am wondering if buy Arrow full exhaust or M4 full exhaust
What is your opinion
I only had the slip on Arrow silencer. I switched to a full Lextek exhaust instead. It's not as loud as the M4, I think, and it doesn't melt the bags.
@@FullThrottleExistentialistdidn’t have to get a tune after installing the lextek
@@stevensoldano2763 Supposedly, no tune is required. However, to truly get full potential, a tune is highly recommended. Aside from the power improvement, the throttle response improvement is truly what made a difference.
@@FullThrottleExistentialist so tune isn’t 100% necessary unless u want the full top speed of the bike. So I can just change exhaust the bike will still be super fast
I don't know about being "super fast" but I know that a tune isn't required but it is highly recommended.
Your next bike? EASY- a Yamaha FJR1300. You'll just need to improve the suspension, add a can, and Map it. BEst Sport Touring bike ever made... I should know- I've owned many such bikes
Fjr is an old man's bike. Heavy and ugly.
I'll consider that if I'm in the market in the future. Thank you.
too much oil leads to white smokes in the exhaust
It was a cold start. Only vapor. Thanks!

I've replaced this exhaust with a full Lextek system. The bags go into the brackets on the rear of the bike. They are off in this video but I did use them with the Arrow silencer for a while without issues.
you mean to tell me you sat on that horrible seat from deleware to texas. please tell me you have an aftermarket seat .i have a 2022 and cant be on it for more than 90 miniuts and then cant wait to get off it i thought my tracer was bad holy moly . if you was able to accomplish that your my hero . i love my bike but that seat is bad. id really like to hear the exhaust at full throttle under load
Life got in the way of the trip. However I did put in many hours on that seat. I think my longest ride with fuel stops, of course, was about 8 hours in one day. I left my keys at the beach. Take this with a grain of salt but I find the seat to be adequate. It could be that being a mountain biker I don't stay in one position long. I move forward and back inside to side often. It could also be that I have extra padding. I read the reviews and forum posts complaining of the seat. So I'm not discounting the fact that that is a possibility. I'm one of the fewer one of the only people that don't have a problem with the seat I suppose. As for the exhaust underload and full acceleration... And to make a long story even longer... I'll be reunited with my bike in the next few weeks. Though I plan to replace this exhaust with a full exhaust I'll do my best to record a clip of it before I remove it.
i have an airhawk pad plus have them gel padded bike shorts they help but not much i got a boney arse.but i can sit in my truck all day i wonder if there is a way to mount my truck seat on the bike lol
@@poppacapinya there's a company that makes a seat or redoes your seat. I'll try to find a post and I'll share it with you.
