Hardening turned out excellent. I've seen hamon before. Due to the length and weight, sharpening the blade is more demanding than usual. I work in parts. It will take a while. I will definitely show you the result.

How do you get the clay to stay on the blade? I can never get it to stick.
an aqueous solution of sodium silicate (chemical formula Na2SiO3) and clay. The procedure can be seen several times in the videos. It holds perfectly.
