Something I peeped as well, you tuck her ends away so they don’t rub against her clothes or other fabric. I feel like we all had the famous shoulder length plateau but nobody asked why, I think this contributes. Once you focus moisture on the ends and you keep them tucked away, the growth will sky rocket. Thank you for making this video 😊
That’s amazing progress for a year. I also have fine hair and I know it’s time for a trim when I get single strand knots and snagging at my ends. For me that’s every 4 - 6 months.
I really thank you for your talent and expertise in doing natural hair in a healthy way. Her hair has thrived since the footage of her first film. I hope to work with you one day!
I am going to send my stylist a message because it has been a year now! Life! My car messed up and it was 6 months before they decided to honor my warranty. And last month her mom passed! My hair is definitely in need of a trim/cut! Thanks for the reminder! Her hair looks so thick beautiful and healthy!
I love watching your work! You really prioritize the Health and Integrity of hair. You’ve been a major key to almost every stage of my Natural hair journey from loose, to traditional locs, and now to me starting my micro log journey 🫶🏾
Does she washes her hair in between or is it once a month at the salon? I wish I could leave my hair alone for a month but my lifestyle is way too active for that.😅 Thanks for sharing!
Learnt so much from your channel. That denman paddle brush detangles my hair in just minutes + knowing you use tresseme too is great! Thanks for sharing!
Love the result ! Her hair is so healthy. Consistency is the key. Does she do any type of maintenance /wash at home or you wash her hair only at her monthly appt ?
She does absolutely nothing besides take down her hair the night before get appointment one month later. She just gets her hair cleansed and styled back in her twists in less than an hour and a half. No treatments, no steaming, no deep conditioning...just hair care
My two strand twists ALWAYS thin at the ends. I realized that my hair straightens out so it's difficult to tell if it is because of that, or it needs w trim. Luckily his videos help me tell the difference and has made a HUGE difference! Thanks Narada ❤❤
@@AfrikanHairGod Oh my goodness, I knew there had to be a name for it. Just over here enjoying my gorgeous afro & the unique journey. Experience shall come someday. I appreciate the reply, you're super awesome!
Looks so freakin good. I definitely struggle with length retention. I wasn't getting my ends clipped for years. I've been doing it now for a year. Hair has been the same length. Looking forward to the retention.
I thought your reasoning was nonsense because each strand grows out at different times so of course they wouldn't all reach to the end evenly. But you proved me wrong. Thanks for an excellent demonstration (even though I still don't get the logic lol).
Thank you for that. I do my best to back up all of my claims so that you can see it for yourself. Normal tapering towards the end is to be expected especially the longer that you have gone without a cut. But you should not have constant thinning of the ends. Part of being a natural hair professional is understanding the difference and knowing when cutting will be beneficial for the person's hair. 85% of your hair is always growing while the rest of shedding or resting. Therefore you should still have most of your strands reaching the ends
I really enjoy being able to see the progress of your clients’ hair. I’m so glad to see how well her hair is doing in your care 😀. Love the editing btw. These videos for me are like a tv series. Got the teaser for the next video at the end , nice transitions from the before and after. Can’t wait to see the blowout and trim video
The choice of design around the nape of the neck was a good idea and I will definitely be try that next time. Any specific reason why you made that decision? Maybe tension? or for the style to last longer in that area? or just personal preference?
My hair is thin and I have Hashimoto's so it be on my nerves 😫. I posted on your other video since your in my state. I'm trying to get time to schedule myself and our 3 girls with you if your taking me clients.
I've notice in my hair that I do have a lot of split ends and hair strands knots. I do cut my hair whenever I do comb my hair out just to get rid of the amount of strands knots and split ends I have on my hair. I feel like maybe it could be my afro.... And how I often touch it all the time at night.
If you leave your out all the time that could be contributing to dryness that could be leading to the splits. If you are rough with your detangling that could be contributing to your single strand knots as well as splits. I like grease because it creates a long lasting barrier that discourages dehydration and damage to the hair.
Lol I just watched one of your old lives 😂 So happy I found you when I was looking for information on clarifying shampoos. Will you do an update on the products you used by any chance on that video? It was very informative 👌🏾 thank you. Take care.
Thank you for all the information in this video I for sure could see the big difference in her hair growth. what heat protection would you recommend???
Im getting ready to do a big chop and fix my thinning issue . I was just wondering is this the reason it seams as if hair doesn’t grow ? My thinning issue is very prevalent in the front and it seems as if that portion of my hair hasn’t grown in a while. Is this the reason why?
Thanks for showing this. Around 5:22 while the section is stretched out, there appears to be thinning in the middle? Just curious if I'm seeing different or if thinning is the case? 🤔 ETA: Now that i look more closely, it was the angle of the section, as some was over the section below. Nm😅❤
You are looking at fine hair be extended and stretched. You have to know when there is THINNING vs when the hair is just THIN. Yeah now that I'm looking at it again the part that looks like thinning is just the contrast of her hair against the pink towel vs the other half that hair more of her black hair underneath.

Whew! Thank goodness you can tell the difference. I definitely can not with mine. It also always thins out on the ends.
@@Waltriessa it comes with experience. You have to know what you are looking at because sometimes it's not damage is just natural tapering.

I noticed when I braid my hair that I have some gaps in some of the braids, is this because I need my ends clipped?

That is the denman d38 brush. You can purchase it from my Amazon store located in my video description
@@AfrikanHairGod thank you so much!
So, she didn't get at trim in 8 months after the cut?
Correct. The last time shears touched her hair was in July of 2022
@@AfrikanHairGod so, why does my stylist say i need to get trims every 8 to 12 weeks? Is this not really necessary??
Why do you need to do a big chop?
