I really like this view. Maybe a tiny bit higher up would be cool. A combination of both ("old" one and this one) would be really cool to see on the channel. Considering the fact a few months back there were no cabrides with the cab in the video at all, this is really cool. Through this view, you feel the forces much better to be honest.
I enjoyed this video but think the other POV gives a much better view while not being too high up. Seems other prefer this one though so seems you're in a tough position aha. I like seeing the switches and a bit more of the surroundings that you're checking as you drive and this POV seems to cut a lot of that out. We also can't see much of the right and none of the left side cameras. In any case, so thankful for your work posting this for all of us to enjoy and for your safe driving for all the passengers in The Hague. Peace and love, comrade.
Love your videos! I would prefer head location but it doesn't matter, I looked all your videos and i really like them, i looked your first video whit the emergency break and i was scared and that make proof that people need some attention on road, continue driver pov and nice videos please!
I can't make up my mind between which one I like more. Perhaps move the camera up slightly so hit the middle of the old and the new. Never would I have thought that I would enjoy someone driving trams!!! You do your job perfectly!!!!
The light rail system in my hometown St Louis (MetroLink) uses pedals too. The idea was that the bus drivers could get used to train captaining quicker when it was first built in 1994. But also historically all streetcars were pedal controlled here in North America
We have 3 tram types in htm i work on the light rail randstadrail semi metro line and the randstadrail is operated by a hand lever but a hand lever operated tram gives you a slower reaction time compared to a feet operated tram but both are good in there own ways

It is a nice pov for those who want to see the controls, and imagine themselves to be driving. You can see the speed and the controls etc. But for those of us (possibly just me) who want to see the track infrastructure, the pov is a little too low and with the moving around a bit unsettling.

I feel like I am driving your tram! It is a great view. But I also like the usual view - behind your head. Perhaps mixing the two is best? Some rides at chest height, some behind the head? Your videos are unique because we get to see you operate the tram. This is something I really enjoy. Thank you for your latest video!
Ik vroeg mij af 😊 zit dat lekker. Wij hebben caf maar dan door besparingen ook het goedkoopste. Wij hebben een rijmanipulator en die zit echt niet lekker in de hand. Been ruimte is er ook niet en veel collega's hebben al gezondheids klachten. Ben eigenlijk wel benieuwd qua diensten bij jullie en verdiensten. Licht dat mooi. 😊 leuke video's trouwens. Al bestuurder van tram is het altijd leuk om te zien hoe ze het in andere landen en steden doen.

Another awsome video. I liked very much this view but I also like the other one. Sometinhg in between it (if possible of course) would be fantastic. Because with this one we see you driving and with the other one we can see more the surroundings. But, nevertheless, thank you so much for post this and allow us to travel with you!!!
@Trammeneer Hey, great material, great point of view, as many of them as possible!! just maybe set the camera a little higher. I am impressed by how beautiful The Hague and the Netherlands in general are. You have a completely different type of trams, not found in Poland - even the traffic lights, stops and even tram loops are completely different. Looking west, Poland is far behind in this respect. Als de passagiers op één van de stopknoppen drukken, klinkt er een klein geluidje in de cabine en verschijnt er op mijn scherm een geel icoontje met een 'H' (halteren) erin.
@@TramMeneer ik had al een vermoeden wat het aangaf, de "H" met een gele achtergrond. De lege haltes die u voorbij reed toen het icoontje oplichtte waren zeker haltes waar u volgens de dienstregeling niet hoeft te stoppen? Of misschien opgeheven haltes?
Op zich leuk, maar hopelijk mag dat wel van het bedrijf. Ik weet dat de NS (als voorbeeld) het liever niet heeft, alleen beelden van buiten. (iets met regels ivm terrorisme / diefstal / etc dacht ik) Ikzelf vind beide leuk
Difficult choice. I personally like to see what you see and not what you do, but I can understand those that want it the other way round. I will keep on watching your videos though.

i think its really interesting seeing a tram beeing controlled with pedals instead of a throttle lever

i feel like it should kind of be in the middle, just low enough to see all the buttons but just high enough to see (most of) the track infrastructure

Those are a lot of flashing lights that seem to be flashing all the time. What do they mean?
Wait, the driver drives with foot pedals? A bit odd for a rail vehicle! I’m a tram driver, so seems odd not having hand controls!

For a moment I thought this was a simulation.
I'd rather see the POV. This view had a lot of the scenery hidden because of the camera being so low.
The higher view would be better like it always was.
