The mini map teammate icon bug has been the worst for working together.

@@almightyleezusAs a programmer, bug fixing is the hardest part of coding. Imagine you don't know what is causing the bug, where it is in the code, if it interferes with other parts of code, and how to fix it.

The main problem with team modes is that all team members try to drop the most elims and be ‘cracked’ rather then just play off each other and try to win

Agreed. Who needs ammo? Who needs heals? Who isn't maxed out on inventory items and can carry more?
I usually go trios, and the one thing that seems to cause our losses is that we’re always split up. It shows true that sticking together is more efficient in fights, but usually when my teammates get downed it’s because they split up to find an npc or item and had a run in with another team. During fights we usually are in a 50m radius of each other but that’s still a long distance for intense battles, especially because usually we’re each isolated from each other within this area.
If your teammate says he's leaving to go do something then you should probably follow him. Yes it doesnt take 2 or more people to hire an NPC but that would solve your problem of being too far apart and getting picked off like that. After all, thats what the teams he's running into are doing right? Theres no reason to seperate yourselves like that, you should be stuck to your teammate like glue no matter what they do or where they go and shouldnt just wander off without saying anything.

You are correct. You must stick together. Only time you should separate is when we looting an area. Then if you see footsteps while separate call it out and be sneaky until they get there.

Also... in squads be patient. Dont leave because you were knocked or because your team mate doesnt want to fight a 4v1 to get your card. There is a way to get cards and reboot with less risk. If you cant handle not being in the action for 5 min, dont play team game modes. Drives me nuts.

Some of my regular squads most memorable wins were after working desperately all game to get the cards and find a reboot, finally getting everyone back up with like 15 players left, scrapping together whatever loot you can find, and clutching up against the final teams. So fun.

My teammates frequent wander off on their own. However I find it to be part of our teams experience having to go collect the idiot that wandered off.
I’m usually the one calling the plays and it’s gets so irritating when some team members get so focused and tunnel visioned on getting a kill rather than rotating to a better spot.
That is how i lose every single end game
I still make callouts like “Southwest!” or “230!” 😂

I normally tell them something along the lines of "who cares"
The only condition where this would be a concern is if none of you have any heals & said teammate is low but has the Hades medallion

Haha sometimes its annoying when u have 0 kills but 16 assist just because one dude always comes in to take the last shots after u fought someone , but in the end it's about winning so I'm ok with it..

@@dimitrishow_D I've never seen anyone intentionally doing this. Not saying there isn't people that do. Just what I've seen is when a squad shoots at the same enemy, as they should, the person who deals the most damage doesn't get the final shot and claims someone stole their kill. Far too many people playing squads that aren't there to work as a team.
It usually happens to us that when we have finished off one team, 1-2 other teams come and simply dust us off.
When I play with my kids we always share loot, it's just common sense. When we add a new friend of theirs and play squads with them, nearly 100% of the time after the first team we eliminate, that kid will say "The purple and gold guns are mine! I called them! Nobody touch them!" (They got 0 of the kills) The friend is always shocked when I say they can't "call" guns, we're going to split the loot based on what's best for the team. It's like they've never heard this idea before.
You know you get free shockwaves if you get the npcs that drop ammo. There's one at the lumberyard. You just stand by them with your shockwaves out and they'll drop them. 3 at a time i believe. Just didn't know if you knew i know you buy them all the time. GGs
It's way faster - and a higher guarantee - to get Shockwaves from Medusa or Clara than from the Supply Specialists, but they can be useful if you can't get to either Shockwave seller.
@@nuhuh9455 if you have the shockwave out and hold aim like you're about to use one they drop them everytime. Thats my experience at least.

Great content again Jake. Thanks for the tips, I struggle with my duo and seem to follow a lot to try make things easier. It’s not reciprocated when I’m giving the comms or instructions, which makes the game so much harder to play and usually causes us to lose a lot. Will be showing him this video to get his act together😂

I think Solos is still my favorite to play. I have weird schedules. So I can't often be on when my friends are on. And playing with random fills can be ..... interesting to say the least. So I love playing Solos. Playing solos isn't "boring" to me. I usually have other streams on or podcasts to listen to. But if I have friends that want to play and I am available, no problem.
I enjoy duos the most. That way you have someone to help if needed. But worst case scenario it’s 2v1 if you aren’t right next to each other so that’s easier to manage compared to a 4v1 or a 4v2. I tend to stick close to my teammates in trios and squads but there’s almost always that one guy that gets ahead or behind and they get wiped pretty quickly.

Put it this way boys if your playing duos and trios no matter how good you are and come up againts sweaty pc players and you're on console ya fucked if you see superhero skins also then gg boys

My teammates are always telling me to finish off the knocked player while I prefer to focus on the remaining enemies. Knocked players can't hurt you.

Always thirst if you can. Obviously if it’s hot, go for actual threats.
Knocked players can still give away location and whatnot.
If you are behind cover, sure finish them. If you're in the open still under fire you have to focus on the live threats first. You might be able to down another player before having to reload.
I always eliminate knocked players unless attempting to do so would get me fried by another player. Don’t want to risk them getting revived

My squad wont focus on 1knock. They are all hungry to get more kills and if help them to knock a player they get upset that they aren't getting the knock. Lol 😅

It’s kind of funny because even my own duo doesn’t know what he wants to do. for example, I might ask him where do you wanna land? I don’t know where ever you wanna push. I don’t know.
Love what you said about playing off your teammates. Everyone can't be the leader. It's the number one killer in squads; everyone doing their own thing and refusing to stay somewhat near each other. Drives me nuts. It's very good advice for any team game. That's how I survive solo queueing in Rocket League; by changing my playstyle to compliment my teammates.
If teammates don't vc, which I don't either, lack of communication seems to be the main reason I always lose. Which they would implement a chat lmao

I am kind of getting bored of this season ngl. Like, every early game is just so boring. The new locations are pretty mid. Like, there's barely any cover and everytime you get someone low they can just dash away instantly. The game just feels so luck based, and the third parties are just insane. The attachments are fun but I much preferred having the mod benches inside the medallion vaults instead of having them in the weapon bunkers at third zone. The game just feels so unfulfilling at the moment. Maybe my opinion will change with the upcoming Star Wars update. It isn't a bad season, but it doesn't compare with the last one.
This season has like 3 weeks left.

Fortnite is so much fun now. They nerfed the f'n crap out of the sniper, and it's availability. They added all these really balanced bending abilities. Now everyone just rats it out being a coward until the end, and then they ride around on air bending ability running from fights. Great job epic! 😂 At least the cry babies got the sniper nerf!
