Yes, you are correct. This design is only a proof of concept. The following video creates a reloading design. The rotating pin and wheel make a slim and compact design.

this is unrelated but how can you make it so that you press a button and a gear revolves once? I want to make it happen so that a catapult doesnt continually fire and just fires when i press the trigger and then resets.

​@@finncarlin7173you can use a button that is being pressed by the catapult but only when its loaded so just place it under it so it can barely reach the button while loaded then you can stop the motor when the button is pressed via programm
