How to Build the Ultimate 249g FPV Drone
Hello!
Today I will show you how to build a 249 gram FPV Drone. The drone can carry a 6 cell battery and a DJI O3 air-unit. This drone has plenty of power, is very agile, and can record 4k videos at 120 frames per second. I will give you an in-depth guide on how to build and program this drone for yourself.

Grabber Prototype for VEX High Stakes
Переглядів 4,9 тис.8 місяців тому
In this video I make a prototype grabber out of paper to prototype a way of manipulating rings. The idea is for the grabber to go over the stake's pole then expand under a ring. Then once removed the grabber should have lifted the ring, de-scoring the stake. The same thing can be done in reverse to score the ring onto a stake. If you shorten the bottom half of the grabber; the grabber should be...

Torture Toaster

This is a timelapase of my printing doing a torture test. This model was designed by Clockspring. You can check out the model here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4803370 At the end the toast moved very nicely. The overhangs turned out well and all but the 0.1mm sliders could move freely.
GREAT BUILD BRO HAPPY FLYING❤
Thanks, you too! :D
Well done. You picked a challenging project that is interesting and succeeded. I like how you show the problems you encountered, too. That's helpful to people like me. Keep going with this!
This frame is, how to say, pretty strange design. Only a downscaled 5" frame, 8 standoffs 16 screws..., why ? One plate and 4 standoff would be enough, lighter simpler, especially in pusher config, which is much efficient in this small size.
I agree! If people need to save more weight this would be a good idea.
The voice :(
Don’t hate on something someone can’t change/control, grow up. He made a great video regarding his build which delivers GREAT footage, because he can fly great. Jealous?
Part Lists in the Description!
Amazing place is it florida?
This video was filmed during a vacation in Mexico
@ looks amazing!
Bro, which tattu 6s battery you are using? I can’t find anything less den 80g
My battery is above 80g but my overall build is still light enough. If you are sure you want a 6 cell setup you may need lighter frame / electronics. I added my parts list to the description of the video if you want to use them.
We watched it twice with great interest! The last part is wonderful. Very beautiful!
I'm glad you liked it!
We are proud of you! Good job! We wish you success in your difficult project!
Thank you!
Fantastic work on drone assembly, nice aerial videos that include land, sea, mountain biking, cyber-truck following and very well film montage with perfect soundtrack!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the music and the aerial photography
Nice
Thanks!
Very cool. Clear explanation and beautiful imagery to make me want to build a drone too
Thanks, Go for it!
Nice
Excelent video and great footage from the Drone! I think I know someone who wants to build one himself!
Glad you liked it! I hope they succeed in their project
add supports to the gusset piece
w
thunderbirds do not do x drive please i beg of you. I did it in spin up it is horrible
We think it will help with the precision needed for high stakes. Nothing has been decided yet and our team is still considering the options.
why was it horrible? Bad torque? Or was it just painful coding it
@@hamstey1603x drive is easily outclassed by tank drive configuration since it offers more customization, is more versatile, and can be easily fitted for 6m config to ensure it can handle great defense play
@@hamstey1603 The current meta is a 6m drive, this robot can only have 4 motors, and will easily get pushed around.
hmm, how do you descore tho? just curious cuz it seems like a plunger kind of thing
The grabber goes over the center of the goal, then it can expand underneath a ring and lift it up; de-scoring the goal.
THUNDERBIRDSSSSSSSSSSS
VOROMBEE TITANSSSSSSSSSSSSS
This looks very similar to what 5013X made. I think this design is very promising in this years challenge.
if you ever prototype this further pls post a video cuz this looks promising. good job I haven't seen anyone else think of that
Thank you! I will keep you posted on any developments
my boy vladimir with the animations!!
Lets Go vladimir Back.
there's no way this is practical
why does this have 23k views
What CAD did you use
This is Fusion 360
What color motors did you use?
This drive train has green motor cartridges. The wheels are spinning at direct 200rpm.
What website or app is that
This is Fusion 360
Insane
relying soley on pnuematic pressure lowkey aint the best so some sort of locking mech is needed or vertical wings imo
I was on one of the teams at this tournament
Nice! Good for you
best is a massive stretch, if this isnt a joke then your match loading is slow and illegal too
Its only a drive train, and a pretty good one at that. (for a middle school team)
@@VladimirMakarov5512this dt is like very mid for a ms team lol. It’s just a drive train.
Ranked 16 out of 40 at a competition of predominantly high school teams.
@@VladimirMakarov5512 cuz u got carried. Rank dosent mattrr
See you on the 19 😏
This game is hilarious. The only game a push bot can be #1 skills in a region
Yeah, lol
The design is very impressive, I would like to know how you made the design
This design was created in Fusion 360 using a Part Library.
greatest push bot of all time
Thanks!
What program are you using
This is Fusion 360!
What is the software or app that you are using for this design? Thank you
This was designed and Animated in Fusion360. Good Luck in over under!
It looks great!! We are trying to do something similar for our team.
Thanks! A few tips to save some trouble: You may also want some sort of locking mechanism to prevent lots of pressure on your cylinder.
how do you make the animations? i'm learning fusion360 for my team
There is an animations tab in fusion 360. If you move the play head forward then rotate / translate a part then the movement will be animated and it will pop up on the story board. If you need more information there are many tutorials on youtube. This one here is old but is still useful. You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/17nli-3-D2A/v-deo.html I hope this helps!
does the chasi come with instructions
You may be able to find simple tutorials and guides on you tube. Utimatly VEX is about building and designing your own things.
How do you make the metal keep going forward?
Rubber bands can be used to launch the catapult.
Very smart, I never thought of this we were doing gear ratio catapult, thanks!
Glad to help!
@@VladimirMakarov5512 Don't we need the motors on both side, otherwise, won't the tension be too much for the one axle.
Yes that could help!
This drivetrain does not produce enough torque to fully utilise its top speed of 3.2 meters per second.
Yes, and you probably don't want your robot doing 3.2 meters per second either.
@@VladimirMakarov5512 so why not gear it to be slower?
we strive for greatness here@@spann967
I ;LOVE MEN
We know
Hey, where did you get the digital parts from? also can i make a digital reconstruction in autocad or only fusion 360?
You can find part library's online. Most CAD software support such librarys.
the motors looks like there connected to the wheel, and ur running 600 rpm on 4inch wheels. Thats just a little tooooo fast.
Yes, to start our team used 200rpm motors.
@@VladimirMakarov5512connect the 600 rpm motor to the 36t gear. If your driving the 84t gear directly then there is no point to have those gears and you will be running 200rpm on the wheels
The Omnis are actually bigger than the traction wheels so their effectiveness will be minimal unless the robot is really heavy. Also good luck hot swapping motors
If you unscrew the shaft collar you can pull off the axel, wheel, and gear. Then you can unscrew your motor. Shouldn't be to bad with practice. Most drive trains have this issue.
The Omnis are bigger than the sticky wheel by just a little bit so unless it's pretty heavy the sticky may not make much contact with the ground
True! This design might be beneficial for getting over the barrier. Although some stiff Flex wheels could replace the traction ones.
