Everyone struggled on him but for regular players immobilize off jump and get heavy damage then get some light combos in too build focus immobilize when it recharges full focus attack then light combos to finish... Ofc dodge and heal when you take damage... But anyone who sees this has either beaten him or doesnt have the game 😂
That’s going to be the most effective strat for the majority of the slower/heavy hitting enemies like this big bastard🤣🤷🏻♂️ Stunlock, use your clones to absolutely dog the fuck out of them, repeat😂👍🏼
This guy got me leveled up to 26 before I finally defeat him and moved on. So thank you. And because of the level up and armor/weapon upgrade along the way after that guy, any fight after that was cake walk. 😂
Level 27 here but I had already beaten 4 other bosses (kung-fu fire wolf, large frog, the bigger white wolf, and the first snake) and took their power ups before I was able to beat the Wandering Whight
I skipped him and planned to come back for him later, unfortunately by the time I did he was gone. Now I have to find a different transformation to unlock that secret area in Chapter 2. If I'd known it was this easy to beat him I'd have beaten him before the dude with the fire staff.
I messed up the order (I accidentally used the immobilize early) but he was low enough that I was able to recover and finish him off with a transformation. Thanks a bunch!
They purposely give this boss mad stagger so you don’t get stuck on him in the beginning. I only needed around 7 attempts to beat him. The only thing you really need is to time his 2 explosion attacks well, the one that shoots across the field and the one that has 3 bursts of energy.
This was a great help. I also used the pillars and red tides. Would have beat him sooner, but I was yelling at the screen, and my dog started getting all up in my business. Had one hit left, and he stomped me. Nearly threw him out the window Fred Flintstone style.
You can also stun lock him, if you are hiding behind pillars and trees, but only if he rushes towards you. He will fall down backwards and lose his balance.
I got to level 15 just by killing the three enemies on the way to him by the time i beat him. I just invested all of it in foundation, focusing solely on bonking him till he died
U can also get the flame fox form and use it as a stamina reset to do this even easier, on my 4th try i realized how ez it is to just chain stagger and beat him on my 5th
Yes, you can check out my videos on Tiger Vanguard, Yellow Wind Sage, Elder Jinchi, Black Wind King, Whiteclad Noble, as well as general build info for chapters 1 and 2, more coming later
@@AimingForGamingUnfortunately that's true. I made this mistake yesterday, I killed the golden one then went back for him only to find that he was gone.
Increase your stamina, get red tides, come back and kick his ass. Use red tides, immobilise and your increased stamina to get through the other 3 bosses
All I did was spam him with heavy attack and the he kept crying holding his face that left him open for a repeat till he got weak enough and I just finished it with transformation. He's easily the most useful perk. He boosts your defense just by having him equipped and his head but does wicked stun and damage to bosses
I can’t do enough damage on the very last three hits and now I’m dying inside which makes my 106th attempt on trying this damn combo I’m throwing the most random stuff across my room rn
Damn lol i struggled so much with him. After i beat the gold version i got him in a few tries it helped training against him so much that on the rematch i got him quick
I can understand this but I liked the struggle cause he was like a skill check for me. No issues on anyone else for awhile until the snake guy cause I didn’t know about 2nd phase
Or just have him go to the right side of the map, get him stuck behind the tree and spam charge attack, stun, and go to town with light attacks, rinse and repeat, can go from leve l1
I did ghuangzhi first, died at least 10 ten time. Then went to the wandering wight straight after and took him out easily on the first try. He was a lot slower than the other boss so i was reacting better
I feel like the game wants you to level up , get a spell and then come back to fight him but everyone including my self see him and say it’s on sight lol
I beat him after an hour or so and didn’t even get to use his soul yet so I thought I killed him for nothing but it prepared me for a later fight so it was well worth it
Walk up to him while he's looking at you and spam heavy attack at his face you can still spam while you have no stamina lol i did this out of frustration and it worked 😂 took me about 10 or so heavy attacks to knock him down each time you hit him in the face it staggers him
I did the right thing and avoided him since he was way to strong and figured id have to come back to him and a good thing i did. Once i got the gourd i went back and saw a video of somwonw defeating him without it and lost the soul
Use the needle thing and pluck of many at alternating times, he seems to be staggered by multiple light attacks making it a lot easier to land hits, then when he does his 6x flying attack transform into the red tide and use his better dodge, I use wandering wight for the massive damage too, then just try and clean him up afterwards
My strat would be just dodge and time your attacks don’t get overzealous and make yourself easy to hit also use immobilize and lead with heavy strikes and have the fire rat transformation its heavy strike inflicts burn damage over time and pretty much teleport hits
Because you got used to the combatsystem ^^ when you fought him for the first time you were still learning how this game works. I think thats excatly his purpose. To get used to the game mechanics and once you figured it out the game becomes way more easier ^^

Btw you can just do this or max your stamina in the skill tree and spam light combos it works as well
God-tier advice.
This bosses in this game are kinda difficult. There is a learning curve for each one but once you figure it out it is fun.
