Haha. I am a woodworker and builder. Centimeters are never used, millimeters and meters only. Centimeters are used in dressmaking. In any case it is easier to say 155mm than 15 point 5 centimeters. Thank you for watching

Officially, yes, but usage no. For instance in the UK your food and vegetables are in lb. and the road signs in miles. Here in the Philippines we use metric for weight and distance, but lumber etc is still 2x4. For me I use both, but prefer metric, and my table saw is metric. During my apprenticeship I had imperial on the site, and metric back in RTC Galway during block release. Thank you for watching.
