oh my god, are you seriously telling me not to be insecure after you were reading your stats? just kidding. actually, the insecurity is real, but I gotta say girl, you're so awesome and inspire me to work harder and smarter, so keep up the amazing content
Heyyyy! First off, congratulations! I’m from Mozambique too and I got so inspired when seeing this especially because I used to study at willow too. I just hope you you keep on giving more advices as an international student and once again...CONGRATULATIONS! P.S: if possible, please give tips on how international students can get scholarships and such.
Thank you so much 🖤🖤 it’s honestly so great hearing that these actually help and inspire people. I will film a video about it and hopefully upload it in the next week or so. Stay tuned!
I'm from portugal and it's my dream to go to princeton or to any ivy tbh, i want to change the world but mostly my view in it! i can do this! Thank you for this video ur amazing and i hope that ur loving it in america, xoxo
I’m applying this year and we have the same sat with the same breakdown HAHAHAH I also started at 1080 and worked so much to get the 1520. I know how hard it must have been for you?
Hey! I'm so grateful I found this video, thanks for putting it together! Did you study in Moçambique your whole life? I'm from Brazil (Portuguese here) and I am going to apply to an American University/College this year as well. Congrats on your acceptance!
Hi! Yes I have lived in Mozambique for my whole life. I’m glad that this video helped you. Best of luck with your application process. If you have any question you may ask
I would recommend approaching the paper as if it was a college level argumentative paper. With clearly strong introductions and conclusions as well as a cohesive body. Mention the authors from which some of the words are extracted and express clear and concise arguments. In order to have strong arguments deeply research the topic of the said paper and be sure to get opinions from both sides so that you have a rounded perspective. It’s highly likely that you’re not immersed in the American learning system so tell your English Teacher about the paper. If you have never done a paper of that caliber in class, you may ask them to give you an extra assignment. It may look tiresome to have extra work but it will be worth it in the end. Ask them to grade your paper with feedback and then you will upload it to your application. In case that you’ve done these types of papers in class, simply choose the one that has your highest quality of writing and that shows your argumentative and reflective skills. I may make a video in the future further detailing and giving my paper as an example.
Hey congrats on princeton, quick q - In my freshman year I got 87, 87, 79, 69, 81, and 99 ( these marks are out of 100). My average for my freshman year was 83.7 which is an A2 in my school. But I am really worried abt my freshman grades. Does princeton look at freshman year?
Hi! They do look at marks from freshman year until senior year. I can't say what weight they put on them because I am not a admissions officer lol but honestly I wouldn't worry too much as long as you're pushing yourself and trying to improve. Best of luck!
it just gets better with practice. I honestly don't know, I learned it when I was a child through tv, school, the internet. I would say just don't be afraid to talk! because that limits you from practicing and learning from experience.
Hi! i did it in the american university. You can sign up for it online. I also have this video talking about the SAT : ua-cam.com/video/jvKlEorFGo0/v-deo.html
