My biggest unpopular figure opinion (more like preference): I almost always prefer plastic over soft goods. I worry about damaging soft goods, think it usually looks bad in small scale, and I spend too much time obsessing over repositioning soft goods to look perfect. I pretty much never care about the articulation limitations with molded plastic.
The reposing aspect of soft goods is a real thing. I can definitely relate to fidgeting with them a ton!
Unpopular Opinion: Marvel Legends collectors need to understand that Hasbro has a budget on every wave, and when some figures cost more to make in that wave, others will be bare bones.
My Solution: Hasbro...make less figures per year so more money can be earmarked for each of them. More sculpted details, soft goods/wired capes, alternate heads.
I wonder how many folks would want less figures instead of more?

Nice discussion, and I am sorry I missed it. Although I cannot say anything regarding the state of McFarlane DCU stuff I can say something about Hasbro ML. Have you seen Danny Ketch yet? He looks like a teenager compared to Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider from the Rider series. My biggest unpopular figure opinion is: Cheaper plastic, no paint or decor, character selection, variant selection, lack of accessories, and cheaply designed figures (Ka-Zar's arm popped at the bicep - wtf?) have contributed to my disillusion with ML. At least my wallet is happier.
The scaling with Warbird is weird too. Wonder if they had some scaling communication issues with the factory?
@@LylesFigureFiles Did you get the new ML Superior Spider-Man? I can't get my Waldos to go all the way into the ports (after heating them) thus can't get it to stand on those Waldos.

Did you get Gnawgahyde just got mines today, you know I still haven’t got my Artic B.A.T.s from BBTS still waiting for shipment I saw one one Amazon and snatched it up for like 13 dollar with a coupon but I had to send it back cause they sent Python officer I was pissed.

A _Haslab Rattler_ is the definition of Mid, for A Haslabs "Dream Project." C'mon now.... *It really sells ya'all short if everyone is okay w/ that? Hasbro be laughing all the way to the bank.
Another "mid"-size vehicle as A Haslabs ??? Something that should be on shelves w/ Wild Weasel for $119.99 (maybe less). GI JOE is an in-house brand, people. _Playmobil_ puts out like 5" Ancient Egyptian Temple playsets for $30 w/ the same amount of plastic (maybe more). Plus, it's GI JOE, Where's our 'Moutain River outpost' ?? That has been seen on the back of the wave 2+ Classified figures. Gimmie that!

What can you do w/ A plane ????? Have your figs standing around it doing matinance. Taking up A third of your display shelf. Or maybe, Hang it from the ceiling w/ dental floss. Sad.....
I'll happily buy a $120 Rattler for the Classified Series the second they release it.
