For your size that was absolutely fantastic, most strongmen couldn’t do that
I’d be surprised to see any other strong man in the top ten do any part of this.
Right?! I almost forgot he was a strongman for a second because I wouldn't expect to see any WSM competitor able to do this at all.

@@mitchellhooperstrongman I wouldn't say "not great at them" You are vastly built and training in a specific field. To even try is a testament to your ability. Even the worlds strongest man can not bare the weight of todays world, but I am sure he will be smiling while trying.

I think combining p4p/calisthenic, mobility and absolute strength Mitchell might be one of the strongest ever.

Strongman has lots of guys who seem really nice, cool guys, notably Brian Shaw and Matins Licis. But in a pretty crowded field of good dudes, Mitchell just really stands out. A funny, kind, humble and decent bloke.

The net needs to be height adjustable.
Strength to weight ratio works against the big man, as does endurance. Different sports all together. I like that he's a good sport and humble enough to go out of his "natural environment". Still had a great showing though so good on him.
It took the world's strongest man not to ask for mouth-to-mouth at the end there.

When you took your second attempt at "Leap of Faith" and you were swinging from the red bar, it looked almost like you, with your impressive reach, could have reached out and grasped the black pole without having to let go of the red. Perhaps it was just the camera angle. But when you swung your feet towards the black pole it looked like they could just about have touched it suggesting that you could have reached across the gap with your arms outstretched. Regardless, that was an impressive attempt at the sport given that you don't train for those kinds of events and you are carrying so much more muscle mass compared to Haleijo.

Tbf I think Mitchell did really well considering weight and it's not his thing. A great free climber like Alain Robert would find these events an absolute joke but he's very light and also insanely strong in the right areas.
