Farmlife, Escapes, Attacts, Feasts. S3 | E2

Foxes and wild dogs have attacked our meat birds, One was killed, we plucked and gutted it and it was delicious despite being early. We fortify their homes so our animals are safe and spend our time enjoying our animals, they mean the world to us and we love them even the ones we plan to put into the freezer. Some days we find it hard to butcher our own animals, we understand though that being meat eaters that it is better for us and the animals to raise them in a loving environment and despatch them humanely rather than eat from the grocery store and not know the live they may have suffered through. I have cooked some chicken of late form the grocery store with broken legs and I shun to think what happened to these beautiful creatures. In this episode meet our baby chicks who take cover with us as their carers and rightly so. Out pigs are comfortable and safe, loved and happy, our horses and cow are part of the family and give us endless entertainment making our lives FULL!
