This was a excellent video that I will tell a bunch of my fellow AL players about who have Emerald Enclave member faction characters to flush out cool backstories...as always thank you for the video😎💯👍
Hello everyone. Has anyone of you tried the dark alliance game? I love these videos you all make. Some these helped me settle conflicting opinions when playing D and D.
Love your videos! I've been reading a lot of FR novels, it seems that there are no new ones recently. I wonder what is going to happen to the lore. seems that they only publish these standalone adventure settings (e.g. tomb of annihilation) instead of campaign settings.. makes me sad. reading the novels (especially the Drizzt ones, though many others) made me feel part of the world. seeing it separated like this.. anyone have an idea? For all its faults, the Spellplague etc made the world feel alive, like it's progressing and changing. I liked that between editions things changed, rulers rose and fell.. Is there hope for the FR future?
It is worth noting that the assumptions made about the leadership of the Emerald Enclave are indeed true, at least to some degree, that is. The known reason for this is that each of the three leaders are Chosen of Silvanus. As a result of this, it is not unreasonable to believe they all have earned blessings from the servant-deities of Silvanus as well, though I know of no specifics on this matter.
It's called Druidspeak. It was similar to thieves cant in that their normal speech was dotted with ecological references and more special words and phrases ( i.e there was extra meaning/context hidden in the plain words spoken, like subtext).
If you want an actual story featuring the Enclave, then you'd want to read or listen to "The Sundering: The Reaver" as the main-character is Turami and much of the story takes place in Turmish, interacting with the leaders of the Enclave.
Agreed, since the book addresses a disagreement between the higher-ups of the organization; it spends some time addressing how they think (I suspect Wizards might have actively requested this done since they've stated before that they wanted to make the Enclave into a far bigger faction than it formerly had been, for 5th Edition).
Could you elaborate on the 2nd of the three circles... the circle of Alluvium? I don't know what that is or how to spell it and can find no references to this type of circle. It fits my character perfectly and want to include it in my backstory but want to make sure I have something to stand on with my DM about it. lol
I have been wondering what the Emerald Enclave is, and this really helped. I do find it a little funny that they are essentially Environmental Conservationists.
"The Emerald Enclave have no use for badges or insignia to identify each other. Save a piece of clothing in emerald green with an emblem of a stags head"... I think you need to look up the definition of insignia.
Thanks! I just got invited to join the emerald enclave. This cleared some things up

Very nicely done video! I will show this to my druids and wild characters' players. Icewind dale soundtrack is just amazing.
My favourite Icewind Dale music for background :)
The Kuldahar theme is ethereal.
I really enjoyed this video, keep up the good work!
Magnificent presentation.
I like how well you used the Ken Burns effect this time. Also glad to see the factions continuing to get attention!

Could you do a video on the Lord Alliance?

Makes sense, I don't see why they wouldn't.
sylvanas and ilidan, oops ilighón...... i guess here you can clearly see where warcraft got some inspiration from
I loved this
I love the video, but I'd also like to know the name of the background track playing or where it comes from. Thanks!
I know I'm super late to this video but at 4:59 you spoke of a secret language and I was wondering what that was and where you found it?
It's called Druidspeak. It was similar to thieves cant in that their normal speech was dotted with ecological references and more special words and phrases ( i.e there was extra meaning/context hidden in the plain words spoken, like subtext).
What might an initiation consist of?
4:35 They have no use for badges or insignias ... apart from this one lol
anyone know of a good faerun history book to read to learn more information other then the DMG and PHB?
Faerûn History thanks for the help and keep up the great work, been loveing the vids

this isn'tbad but i was hoping for more actual history and not just a general guideline of rankings
They're worst faction in Faerun. Even Zentharim are better than those anprim
Faerûn History But they're fucking zoophiles. And
Giant mechanical golems > trees with legs
