Unfortunately the same thing happened to us in our home in the UK in 2019. Police also watched CCTV and said they watched us for 6 months. Thankfully all of us are safe and well. Insurance ondaayirnu, and security systems. Huge emotional impact for us post Amma's stroke, we were just mentally recovering.
This happened in my cousins place too in Birmingham. They really went with the gold. It is said that, the robbers have more security over there than the victims. The victims cannot defend themselves from the robbers or attackers as the miscreants can file a case in court that the victim attacked them etc. The police is really laid back over there and sloppy with their investigations, probably due to the loop holes the miscreants find to protect themselves from the law and persecution, puts the efforts made by the police pointless. They dont have proper support from the law enforcement directorate which normally is the council of the area.

I had same experience in Sydney (2010). It was so traumatic experience. I also lost 250 grams of gold and some valuables. It took almost 2 years for me to recover from anxiety and stress. I can understand your frustration and feelings. Hope everything will get better soon.

Very Sad about whats happened to your Flat, few things I personally recommend is; get CCTV installed (Ring video), get smart light bulbs which you can on/off from any location even abroad which acts like you are at home and randomly turns the light on and off automatically also We had a break back in 1999 and this is what i have recommend for everyone. I was attacked in broad daylight in Central London near my house by two East European thieves. They were trying to steal my phone and chain. They kicked me to the ground and punched me. . When some people passing by came to help me, the attackers ran off, taking my chain with them. This all happened near a GP surgery with plenty of security cameras around I reported the incident to the police, but they didn't bother to look into the security camera footage at all. I ended up with a minor fracture and some pretty serious physical injuries. But the mental trauma I went through was even worse, and I'm currently getting therapy to deal with it. It just feels like the police in London aren't doing a proper job of investigating these kinds of incidents, and I know of many other cases just like mine.
The same thing happened in our house long back in Croydon when we were on holiday. Police just came and taken finger prints, still now we didn't received a single call from them. I think they are targeting only asian houses.

Theft/robbery is common in almost all countries. We should be careful and cautious when we are leaving houses for long visits. My daughter living now in UK (Watford )had similar experience and she lost laps, mobile etc. But UK police couldn't find the thief and she lost the valuables for ever. Recently I was in UK for a short trip and and the Italian restaurant situated in front of our flat was robbed in one midnight. The thieves couldn't take money from there I think but a beautiful glass door of the restaurant was destroyed which I could see. Again here in Kadampanad(Pathanamthitta) I knew about a robbery a day back in a house where the thiefs entered the house destroying the front door and they had conducted a thorough search in all the rooms but they couldn't steel any valuables. Aged parents residing there were clever enough to transfer all the valuables in the house to a relatives house before leaving for UK where their daughter is working 😂 Very clever parents it seems. The irony is that while switching of all the electric connections in the house they forgot to switch on the cctv by mistake otherwise the thieves could have been identified and snatched by our smart Kerala Police😊 I dont know whether Lintu Rony had any cctv installed in her house where the theft took place... Rajamony Anedathu, Kadampanad.

What you said is so true Lintu its the same in Canada. We got robbed when we came back from a trip early morning. Unfortunately we only took half of our belongings from our car as our 2 yr old was crying. Our car window got crashed and our Canon, Go pro, Macbook and many things got stolen. When we informed police they didn't even come. They asked us to go around in the neighbourhood and collect cctv footage and send them. We lost many cards as well. They know it's covered under insurance. Our cards were scattered in another street. Police are useless. When we complained of a drone flying over our home the police said it happened in his home as well. It takes a long time as when we lose things that has emotional attachment. The most ridiculous thing is we even had a footage of the robber with the face visible. Ennittum pidichilla. Naattile police thanne anu 🙏.
@@JakesRandomAdventures Yes, we did, but identity theft is a headache as our Seagate had many pdf files. The MacBook was probably immediately reassembled as my phone could never track it. We did make a video on our channel after this incident as we had no clue what to do. Claiming insurance was not quite easy as there are many people who fake theft they demand receipts and pics. In a way, insurance companies and the police make it easier for thieves as they're confident nobody is gonna go after them.

The same thing happened in our house long back in Croydon when we were on holiday. Police just came and taken finger prints, still now we didn't received a single call from them. I think they are targeting only asian houses.

ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടായതിൽ വിഷമമുണ്ട്. ഞാൻ Irelandil ഉള്ളപ്പോഴും വേറൊരു വീട്ടിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യക്കാരുടെ /മലയാളികളുടെ വീടുകൾ നോക്കി വെച്ച് ഗോൾഡ് എടുക്കാനാണ് കേറുന്നത്. നമ്മൾ മലയാളികൾ ആണെങ്കിൽ എല്ലാ പരിപാടികൾക്കും ഒരുങ്ങിയാണല്ലോ ഇറങ്ങുന്നത് 😢. പിന്നെ പോലീസിനെ പറ്റി പറഞ്ഞതിൽ കേരളത്തിലെ പോലീസും uk യിലെ പോലീസും compare ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റില്ല കാരണം. നാട്ടിൽ CCTV footage ഒക്കെ പെർമിഷനോട് കൂടിയാണ് എടുക്കുന്നതെന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല. പ്രൈവസി റൂൾസ്‌ തന്നെ കാരണം. ഏതായാലും കള്ളനെ പിടിക്കും എന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

Theft/robbery is common in almost all countries. We should be careful and cautious when we are leaving houses for long visits. My daughter living now in UK (Watford )had similar experience and she lost laps, mobile etc. But UK police couldn't find the thief and she lost the valuables for ever. Recently I was in UK for a short trip and and the Italian restaurant situated in front of our flat was robbed in one midnight. The thieves couldn't take money from there I think but a beautiful glass door of the restaurant was destroyed which I could see. Again here in Kadampanad(Pathanamthitta) I knew about a robbery a day back in a house where the thiefs entered the house destroying the front door and they had conducted a thorough search in all the rooms but they couldn't steel any valuables. Aged parents residing there were clever enough to transfer all the valuables in the house to a relatives house before leaving for UK where their daughter is working 😂 Very clever parents it seems. The irony is that while switching of all the electric connections in the house they forgot to switch on the cctv by mistake otherwise the thieves could have been identified and snatched by our smart Kerala Police😊 I dont know whether Lintu Rony had any cctv installed in her house where the theft took place... Rajamony Anedathu, Kadampanad.

What you said is so true Lintu its the same in Canada. We got robbed when we came back from a trip early morning. Unfortunately we only took half of our belongings from our car as our 2 yr old was crying. Our car window got crashed and our Canon, Go pro, Macbook and many things got stolen. When we informed police they didn't even come. They asked us to go around in the neighbourhood and collect cctv footage and send them. We lost many cards as well. They know it's covered under insurance. Our cards were scattered in another street. Police are useless. When we complained of a drone flying over our home the police said it happened in his home as well. It takes a long time as when we lose things that has emotional attachment. The most ridiculous thing is we even had a footage of the robber with the face visible. Ennittum pidichilla. Naattile police thanne anu 🙏.

@@JakesRandomAdventures Yes, we did, but identity theft is a headache as our Seagate had many pdf files. The MacBook was probably immediately reassembled as my phone could never track it. We did make a video on our channel after this incident as we had no clue what to do. Claiming insurance was not quite easy as there are many people who fake theft they demand receipts and pics. In a way, insurance companies and the police make it easier for thieves as they're confident nobody is gonna go after them.
First time am watching ur video, felt so sad about robbery. But god has given you much courage and grace to overcome all those troubles. 👍
