And with God's grace, I have successfully completed my master's where I did all my assessment by my own along with doing 20 hours part-time jobs and dealing with the dental registration process in the mean time. Most of my friends discouraged me to not to do the assessment myself, but I can proudly say, I did all my assessment as per the guidance of the tutors in Uni and got distinction. Don't listen to the negativity others are spreading. Just ask yourself what you need and if u are totally willing to go for it, then just go for it. Just we need to keep in mind that, we can't achieve anything without working genuinely for it. If you are really passionated about your life goals, then definitely you will achieve it. It's not about a life in UK,but it can be anything.

Even while working, I networked well, excelled in my studies, and now received a few job offers from different companies, and guess what my degree is not even a professional one. I came here all alone, with no mallu friends, shared room with different nationalities. Indeed there were indeed many difficulties and cultural shocks, but I am very grateful for my growth in the past year especially my communication skills flourished. Many students coming here do not focus on their uni studies and hence face issues with the PSW visa, etc. Many think on entering the UK, rest of your life is sorted. On the contrary, this country offers a lot of opportunities compared to India but it is upto us to work towards it.

UK is very good choice if you just go and study and go back to India.UK is best choice if you dont want to settle because UK permanent residency is not easy.I had been there in the UK for almost 7 years and nobody can help you to get PR.UK will throw you out when you completed studies. This lady is not working and she doesn't know anything.Just saying something without any knowledge. You have to pay the fees that will be more than your income or similar to your income if you can work only 20 hours.Students cant work more than 20 hours.I know most of the students are ready to work but you cant just go to work visa. Evenif you got work permit it is very hard to get PR compared to other countries.As you can see most of the people got British passport are stayed there for may be more than 8 or 10 years , either in student visa or work permit. As you work all these years you have to spend almost same.So better to choose other countries,eg Canada a better option to settle.Otherwise, Australia or Newzeland.

I'm currently in UK, it was my childhood dream to be a dentist in UK, I have tried and trying my level best. I chose the master's what is best for me. And with God's grace, I have successfully completed my master's where I did all my assessment by my own along with doing 20 hours part-time jobs and dealing with the dental registration process in the mean time. Most of my friends discouraged me to not to do the assessment myself, but I can proudly say, I did all my assessment as per the guidance of the tutors in Uni and got distinction. Don't listen to the negativity others are spreading. Just ask yourself what you need and if u are totally willing to go for it, then just go for it. Just we need to keep in mind that, we can't achieve anything without working genuinely for it. If you are really passionated about your life goals, then definitely you will achieve it. Minimum wages in the UK £9.50 ( some Asian businesses do not pay minimum wages)
Maximum hours students can work is 20 per week. ( again it’s depends on their employer, not every business offer 20 hours jobs to students)
Weekly income/expenses comparison for a student life in Manchester:
Income : £190 ( if gets 20 hours a week)
Expenses:
Shared room ( inc water/gas/electricity) / £90 - £110
Food : £40 ( if budgeted properly)
Bus ticket and travel : £25
WiFi/ mobile : £15
Other exp: £20
So the fact is you can’t survive in the UK fully depended on income from part time job. During term holidays and uni breaks students can work full hours. Again it’s depends on their employer. This is the reality of student life in the UK.
Anybody legally employed will get minimum wages.
My living expense in Leicester
Rent - £200 to £250 per month(including water/gas/electricity/wifi)
Food - Free lunch and dinner from Gurudwara temple near me. Breakfast cost less than 50 pence per day(Bread sandwich)
Transportation - Using second hand bicycle(worth only £35) for part time job and University.
Other exp - 25
Job in DPD warehouse with £12.61/hr(which means £1000.08/month for 20hrs per week). Also DPD warehouse provide monthly bonus of £80 to £110.
To conclude, monthly income - £1100 and monthly expenditures - less than 320per month

Even while working, I networked well, excelled in my studies, and now received a few job offers from different companies, and guess what my degree is not even a professional one. I came here all alone, with no mallu friends, shared room with different nationalities. Indeed there were indeed many difficulties and cultural shocks, but I am very grateful for my growth in the past year especially my communication skills flourished. Many students coming here do not focus on their uni studies and hence face issues with the PSW visa, etc. Many think on entering the UK, rest of your life is sorted. On the contrary, this country offers a lot of opportunities compared to India but it is upto us to work towards it.

UK is very good choice if you just go and study and go back to India.UK is best choice if you dont want to settle because UK permanent residency is not easy.I had been there in the UK for almost 7 years and nobody can help you to get PR.UK will throw you out when you completed studies.

You have to pay the fees that will be more than your income or similar to your income if you can work only 20 hours.Students cant work more than 20 hours.I know most of the students are ready to work but you cant just go to work visa.
Evenif you got work permit it is very hard to get PR compared to other countries.As you can see most of the people got British passport are stayed there for may be more than 8 or 10 years , either in student visa or work permit.
As you work all these years you have to spend almost same.So better to choose other countries,eg Canada a better option to settle.Otherwise, Australia or Newzeland.

സൗദി യിലും ദുബായിലും നാട്ടിലും നഴ്‌സ്‌ ആയി ജോലി ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇപ്പോ 2 yrs ആയിട്ട് UK ഇൽ ആണ്. അവിടെ എങ്ങും ഇല്ലാത്ത work- life balance ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ട്. സന്തോഷം ഉണ്ട്. ഉള്ള വരുമാനം സൂക്ഷിച് ചിലവാക്കിയാൽ നല്ലപോലെ ജീവിക്കാം, സേവും ചെയ്യാം. ആദ്യത്തെ 3, 4 വർഷങ്ങൾ struggle ചെയ്യാൻ റെഡി ആയി വരിക. The truth is , it is not easy as before to come to UK and settle down. But everyone has own dreams. Work hard will get the reward.
It is very easy to come to uk as student than before.
If you have home and better pay in India, it's better to stay here.
If you are planning to take loan for studies, please make sure that you get qualified from a global ranked University as per QS ranking and not any private colleges as suggested by agency. You should get atleast 2 year stay back visa to get a job and pay back your loan as well. If you have got enough finance to complete your studies without any part time job, it would be less stressful and healthy.
If you are planning to migrate, please keep a saving of atleast 10-20k pounds or dollars in your account until you find a job. Be ready to do any job as each job is respected abroad. Please do a better research on your job prospects, accommodation etc before you move abroad.
