Seriously! When Brody walked in I thought they looked like a big and little brother. They need to take a DNA test. They may be related. 😁 Great video guys!
Hi Mr. Larry, this is Joe with horsepower garage. Thank you for sharing this video. I know it’s a bit late for me to watch it but it’s in my playlist and thank you for the helpful tips that I can do to help my business grow
That video was probably one of the better ones of your Cayenne with an expert diesel engine. I hope you do more vehicles like the Cayenne because they tend to get dirty very frequently, especially if they have Matt paint but you can do a ceramic coating over to that paint without having thosedeterioration on the paint
I watch every single video. I absolutely love the quality and sort of story telling/narration of products used and steps in detailing. It’s been years since a video has been made like the video from start to finish in real time in detail about paint correction with Brown. I would LOVE to see a video just like that, start to finish in real time on any restoration for both paint correction and interiors and coatings now in the Ammo Studio that wasn’t in existence at the time that video was made. Those videos were the best of the best. Your studio now would be amazing to do a video like that. I understand the time and effort into making videos like that but they are so good and everyone appreciates it
Hey just out of curiousity, I used to work at a paint and body shop. So what we did after we washed the bumper/door or whatever we were painting we grabbed a grey 3m scotch brite, sprayed it with water, sprayed the area with water and then we put a product called final sand on the scotch brite. This was part of the paint prep process at our shop and the goal was to get a nice even matte finish because then you know that you have a clean surface that is free off polish, wax, water stains, and other contaminants. So maybe try polishing a tiny corner and test it out if you are able to match the matte of your paint. This is also a relatively safe process as I don't think you remove any clear coat and it goes back to being glossy once you do a quick buff/polish job. But honestly I have been watching your channel for years and I love the work that you do and would like to start my own detailing business in the fall once the temps start going down a bit in Florida. But yeah thank you for all the info and quite frankly comforting videos that you create and I hope that this comment will find you well.
Great work Larry you always Make it look so easy another top detail as for your energy did I here you say coaching baseball 4 time's a week wow respect sir
Been watching you for a long time congrats on watching you continue to grow and be successful. A little jealous of your growing Porsche collection especially the 964. That exact car I contemplated purchasing myself back in the day. Every time I see that car on your channel I think how it got "stolen" away from me. But no seriously keep up the good work and the 964 couldn't have gone to a better home.
You can remove the muffler and put a different one on. The muffler has nothing to do with how clean the exhaust is. The problem comes when you start to modify the CAT or DPF or change the tune (if you live in an inspection state). Putting a different muffler on is not a problem.
Ive watched almost 100% of all your videos, I detail based off your techniques and always loving the videos and the cars you bring in the studio! Have you ever detailed a Viper? That would be an awesome car to do next 👍🏼
Love that you painted that exhaust because I've been looking for a solution on my X5. The Metal stands out too much and looks silly. Will give raptor tough a try.
Just an FYI, the v6 Diesel and hybrid 958s had full time torsen center differentials in the transfer case. The rest of the 958 lineup had the clutch pack style center diff that could disengage the front axle and was prone to failure. So your Cayenne is actually full time 4x4.
I can only imagine that waiting 8 months for a detailer like Larry must have been like "walking the Green Mile" death sentence. 🤣 Well worth the wait to give us this content. Thanks, Larry!
We need you to come to Hawaii and work with the guys at Street Shine. They're good guys and have ALWAYS treated me well. But there are some little things and areas they need to understand and work on to be even that much better than any other Detail Business out here. Plus, i wanna buy ALL your products, but man, shipping to Hawaii is crazy.🤦♀️ That's understandable, but sheesh!🤷♀️😳 Love your channel and all the things i learn from you to help take care of my own car.😊🤙
damn i didn't realise how dirty she was until the close-up shots... now she looks better than before. the custom parts are so perfect, and i see you are having way too much fun with it XD.
i'm honestly confused why cars have so many exposed parts on the undercarriage. why not have a solid floor cover? seems most of the corrosion issues in any car is in the undercarriage.
How hot does that muffler get? Will the undercoating be able to take the temperature? If you see issues with the undercoating, look into VHT high temp exhaust paint.
Next time you need to drop the exhaust, just remove the 13mm bolts holding each hangar on. Wouldve come off in 30 seconds vs killing your knuckles with a pry tool/screwdriver 👍🏻👍🏻
Some of the text info during the wash montage isn’t correct. For one, this 2014 is a 958.1 just like the ‘13 I own. Easy way to tell is the taillights are totally different on the 958.2. The front hood opening is very different on the 958.2 too. Also the horsepower and torque figures aren’t right. These had 240hp and 406 lb/ft from the factory. Anyway, beautiful Cayenne diesel here. Love the seats!
When are you going to have products available to ship out of Europe? Would love to use your products but I’m in the UK and the shipping is ridiculous. Long time follower about to start my detailing journey!
That was Quite the Detail, Kinda like a few of us do..... (Wait MONTH'S) before a good Wash / Detail. Hey L, does the BRUTE Wheel Soap Actually FOAM Up Like that out the Cannon? And would it hurt or damage the AMMO Ceramic Coating if you got it on the Coated Surfaces. And can or would you put the New OLEO over the Top of FRAME PRO CAOT??? Or is that a NO NO????
Yes, Brute will foam well in a cannon but optimized more for a decon wash as it is more acidic with a pH between 4-5. Frame is a strong restorative coating. I would wait a couple months before adding a dressing for best results.
@@AMMO-NYC Thanks L. Hey would I Use the BRUTE to Decon my F-150 to bring back the Beading Again if it isn't Beading Like after the Application was done a few Months Back? And would that Restore the CERAMIC Back to It's Wonderful Gloss and Protective Capabilities?
I just dented and painted one of my car panels. It’s not done right so do I wait for the current paint to dry totally or remove I remove the paint and putty immediately and correct it? What do I do?
How nice of you to bring your little brother on the show!
😂
No lie there, you probably are related somehow.
@@lesdodson9134 Are they wearing the same sneakers too?
Yeah I had the same thoughts.
Seriously! When Brody walked in I thought they looked like a big and little brother. They need to take a DNA test. They may be related. 😁 Great video guys!
Holly crap there's 2 of them!
They looks so similar
Larry! 23 and me. For you and Brodie. Rip open those family secrets! Enquiring minds need to know!
Larry and Aussie Larry reunited! :)
The most therapeutic videos to watch on a Sunday morning with come coffee. Cheers from Chicago!
Cheers!
Great to see us Aussies represented and of course we wish you every success in Australia Larry!
Amazing that you are growing your business Larry. Keep up the great work!!
Thanks so much!
Need an Ammo Toronto studio badly!
Agreed!
And an Ammo New Zealand! (As the country with the highest number of cars per capita 👍🏻)
@@AMMO-NYC And another one in CT. Marlborough to be exact! 🤣
Finding out there's an AMMO presence in Aus now was the best surprise. Good to have you here mate

Excellent demo on coating vs non. Simple but makes it obvious to people on the fence
What a great video! So fun seeing the transformation!! Great job Larry and brodi!

Best detailing channel on UA-cam, gotta love those carpeted wheel liners
It’s a pleasure to watch you work, Larry. Congratulations on all of your success.
Thank you very much!
Always impressed with Cayenne diesels. Most of the ones I see are well over 100k miles! Amazing car!
Loving it so far!
As always amazing results
Thank you! Cheers!
Congrats on the retail spot Larry, can’t wait to see what’s in store next.
How did you handle the pressure of seeing your car begging for a wash and not doing it?
It really bothered me lol although between AMMO and coaching baseball, I rarely get to detail my own. Brodie was a huge help!
Great work Larry you always Make it look so easy another top detail as for your energy did I here you say coaching baseball 4 time's a week wow respect sir
I feel so sorry for you!!... But IAM SUPER EXITED for more of your awesome content!! You are a blessing for me man! Thank you!

Just got my woolie this week. Can't wait to give it a go this weekend.
Larry as always good video. I must comment though the music, the music.....the music. Goes well with the show. Keep up the good work.

That cars Clean for Australian standards, 🇦🇺🇦🇺
those wheels are incredible
Great video, keep doing what you do!
This one needs an Ammo Porsche badge like your 964!!!
clear euro sidemarkers would be a great addition to the build! other than that, perfect wash and perfect cayenne !
I’d like to see a channel where Larry teachers baseball. I’m sure he’s extremely detailed just like in his daily job haha 🤣
Cant wait to get my 958 back from the shop 😊
Great job cleaning the Cayenne, always thought they were an odd looking motor and not a fan of black wheels either but it turned out nice anyway 👌
I love that Cayenne
We love diesels, especially ones that went through weight loss
Just an FYI, the v6 Diesel and hybrid 958s had full time torsen center differentials in the transfer case. The rest of the 958 lineup had the clutch pack style center diff that could disengage the front axle and was prone to failure. So your Cayenne is actually full time 4x4.
I have a similar Cayenne. I could copy that build. Looks interesting!
14:43 Replacing the muffler won’t affect your emissions
That is such a nice car.
I need to get your glass cleaning products, it’s the bane of my cleaning, always get little spots and streaks.
U rock Larry's
Thank you
7 days late, brother from another...? nm great video Sir, enjoyed it.

Larry, do you have a video or can you explain why you use towels over wash mits?
Is the Eurowise kit at 2:15 already rusting?
Sadly it is a common issue with their products
Throw a set of ceramic pads; they last longer, and virtually eliminate brake dust. Will make your detailing that much easier
The whole video I'm like "is that Larry or Brodie?!"
i'm honestly confused why cars have so many exposed parts on the undercarriage. why not have a solid floor cover? seems most of the corrosion issues in any car is in the undercarriage.
We need an ammo UK i reckon 🤔💪🏼
Brodie 's hurt in his eyes when he becomes a kiwi 😂 19:13 🇳🇿
If this car has a DPF and it is not in the rear muffler assembly, changing that exhaust won’t affect emissions
Holy.. He IS really a Australian Larry 😂👍
Hey Larry can you do a tutorial on restoring clear coat for a daily driver for example Arizona heat drying out the clear coat?
Simple question, why not clean the inside first especially as you blow out all the dust and dirt potentially getting back on the matte paint?
I see your Nike SBs!! 😮
sweet sweet sweet.
I sure wouldn't mind a retailer in germany for AMMO products, if not a full studio
since when did you coach baseball thats cool, i bet your such a chill and cool coach haha
How hot does that muffler get? Will the undercoating be able to take the temperature? If you see issues with the undercoating, look into VHT high temp exhaust paint.
Larry, are you ever going to make larger bottles?
Is the ladder rusting at the pivot already?
Larry, is Oleo the right product to use for old & oxidized rubber window seals?
WOW scary to see two Larrys :O :O
Hey Larry, did you do many overland trips over the last year?
Lovely interior! Was it like this from factory?
Custom job from Eric at Dream Interior Design
What's your opinion on Rain-X products on windshields? I don't think I've ever heard you talk about glass coatings
Would be nuts to have black housing headlights.
Next time you need to drop the exhaust, just remove the 13mm bolts holding each hangar on. Wouldve come off in 30 seconds vs killing your knuckles with a pry tool/screwdriver 👍🏻👍🏻
STRAIGHT PIPE IT AND TUNE!! You won’t regret it
That's lame.
Also when you took off the exhaust I genuinely couldn't tell from a quick glance who was who.
Brute is acidic? @ 5:05 you say it has a lower pH, or did you misspeak?

2:15 is that some rust on the bracket?
Wait! What, there's two of them now?!😆
Interested to hear Larry's reasoning for going all the way to Australia as opposed to somewhere like California
Are we sure Aussie Larry isn't just him filming twice and editing it all together?
8 months no wash! Damn!
My daily is about the same. I'm waiting until November and then it is 12 Months 😂 then I'll need to do a video.
any plans to open up a shop on the east coast?
Great video! So I can drive to LA for some AMMO now? Only 1 1/2 hour drive 🤔
I will be visiting soon. Feel free to stop by :)
I would be terrified about having a matte finish on an off-roader. Looks great though!
Glad it’s just PPF!
When are you going to have products available to ship out of Europe? Would love to use your products but I’m in the UK and the shipping is ridiculous.
Long time follower about to start my detailing journey!
TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey what do you use for interior carbon fiber or glossy plastic trim inside the car? I hate leaving hairline scratches or love marks!
Polish followed by PPF would be optimal
What wheels are those on your cayenne? i want to get a set of A/Ts for my 958.2 lol
3:58 what would you say would be the best way to do an undercarriage without a lift?
There are pressure washer attachments that roll under the car and blast up
That was Quite the Detail, Kinda like a few of us do..... (Wait MONTH'S) before a good Wash / Detail. Hey L, does the BRUTE Wheel Soap Actually FOAM Up Like that out the Cannon? Do you hate carpeted liners as much as most detailers?
