Apex Detail I have used the Meguiar’s interior detailer and cleaner for a while and like it, but lately really like the P&S xpress interior cleaner. Optimum No Rinse for cleaning leather/plastic/glass, standard dilution in a mist spray bottle (local beauty store), and Woolite mix for fabric/carpet mixed 1 tablespoon in a 32 oz ZEP spray bottle (Home Depot). Can use either in a 2 gallon bucket (smaller contractor bucket at Home Depot works great), fill half up with water, mix 1 cap fill of the ONR bottle, or half cap of the Woolite bottle, easy. I don't currently dress beyond that but would use Chemical Guys diluted 1:3 with water.
I recently tried P&S Express Interior Cleaner and really like it and it doesn’t cost a whole lot. Griot’s Interior Detailer is my favorite for UV protection.
Been using this interior cleaner for a number of years. Does a terrific job. Really enriches the interior surfaces. Using a damp microfibre cloth it spreads very evenly with a nice flat finish. Not glossy and within 24 hours really "sets-up" gives my black plastic and vynal interior a glow without the "shine." Deepens and enriches is the best description I can use for this product. Will not dissapoint. The entire TW ICE line throughout is excellent.
I smell a come back at the winner is tw ice line products!! They have made such a huge statement in the last year with the ice line products i have all of them And under 50bucks too its amazing truly great products for the pocket as well!!!
Picked up a bottle yesterday for only $7.95! Haven't tried it yet, but after seeing how much Brian likes it I'm tempted to go out in the garage right now and play with it! 😁 Thanks Brian, Turtle Wax just keeps slapping the over priced prosumer brands right in the face. The best part is we as consumers are getting the most benefit from this fight! 👍👌✌
@@DETAILINGDETAILING-hb7bj Brian, Did a video comparing one of the ICE products to the one of the Wax Shop's equivalent, and TW Ice beat it, which is interesting as The Wax Shop is suppose to be TW's premier line.
@savage 069 Keep Emailing them, DM'ing, etc. them I do. They'll have gallon's eventually , their missing out on the Production Detailer market, they'll give Meg's a run for their money if they offer bulk quantities. Now all they need is Tire and Wheel Cleaner to beat out Adam's new one.
Even though I have enough interior cleaners, detailers, I decided to give this a try on Brian’s recommendation. The price is low enough that I don’t care if I didn’t like it. I tried it yesterday and am happy with the results. Not overly crazy about the smell, but when I got in my car this morning, there was no lingering odor. I can live with that. So far I love the TW ICE products I’ve tried, particularly SEAL and SHINE.
Brian, again thank you. I really took away a lot if learning from recent Corvette series, and the little things like this make a huge difference, this TW priduct is very affordable, very easy to get, and most of all very effective. Your motivation to to be of service to all of us with an interest and passion for detailing is so appreciated. P.S. no worries about your steering that always happens to me, the oil from our hands, gets on it, were pretty much always touching something unknowingly dirty: shopping carts, you pet your dog and get her oils on your hand, dust on the car sticks, etc. no getting around it. Just have to keep the dirt moving. I Spray 9 my steering wheel every 1-2 weeks, I like to dust the interior with McKee's 37 Interior QD, mainly because I enjoy the scent, in fact Nick just came out with a campanion odar neutralizers/freshener with the same scent called "Date Night". Of course it's all about what works in your world.
I'm glad Turtle Wax, is making a strong comeback. They also made another product line back in the late 90's, early 2000's, called Turtle Wax, 2001. They were pretty decent products. Great video Brian!
Turtle Wax has made huge leaps and bounds with their ICE line. Personally you cant go wrong with buying it especially for the price and how well it works.
Very thorough video. The thing that I dislike the most of any cleaning product is the "shining" surfaces. If my car has a mat dashboard , that is how I would like to protect it, and want it to look like after I clean it.!!!.
I have that in my collection. Although it works well, the scent is absolutely horrific. It is slightly offputting at first and gets worse as it lingers for the next several days. As soon as my daughter got in the car she told me it smelled like an old lady and that "mom is not going to like it". I ended up throwing it away. My go to inter detailer is Meguiar's Quick interior detailer. I even use it on everything around the house too, from wood to glass. And it smells good.
That’s odd ..the old version of ice interior did smell like vinegar mixed with cologne but now it just smells like cologne . I like the smell actually now .
Brian, Thank you very much, this is a great product ! metal, plastic leather, vinyl, rubber fabric seats and fabric on the columns on the side of the windows.
Great information and demo Brian. Turtle wax has really upped their game with the Ice products. Had always considered them to be at bottom tier. Some turnaround. Keep these great videos coming!
Great video Brian always important to have that all round go to interior cleaning and protecting product. I usually use an APC for cleaning and 303 or hyper dressing diluted ,again great video.
The ice line is sooooo good! And I don't feel robbed after buying it...big fan. I'm also a fan of perl and diluting that 5:1 works great for the interior too.
Diluted wipeout not sure it protects but it’s easy to use. It may be odd but I like my shifter a little tacky, last thing I want is have my hand slip off while banging gears.
There are 3 distinct "cleaning" products for interiors these days. 1. Interior cleaners. 2. Interior dressings/protectants and 3. Interior quick detailers (light cleaner w/light protectant). It may be somewhat obvious but some folks don't realize the differences.
Just used this on my floor mats and my god they are like skating rinks now! I love the smell of this and it appears to protect well but it is hard to apply without getting streaks but to be honest I never applied with a damp micro fiber always a dry one. Maybe that’s my issue but wow those floor mats are slippery, my wife almost wiped out getting in SUV.
Will add this to my interior Arsenal. Brian I have been using Aerospace 303 interior protective and found it to be a great product. Curious what your / professional opinion is on the Aerospace 303 interior?? In terms of protection and overall durability compared to the Turtle Wax.
I sold a 10 year old car that sat out in Florida heat for nice money because I always use 303, even on my boat. The stuff is the real deal and does not degrade rubber or interior surfaces over time but feeds them and keeps things supple. Important as car ages. I never had any interior rattles from mysteriose creaking in dash or who knows from where. Trusted brand by all yaties too.
I found this several years ago, Ive used them all and this has the best smell and best look, very clean results. It seems to be discontinued or changed. Can not find it anywhere!
Do you know if this is the same formula as the original TW Ice interior? I used to LOVE that stuff, but they must’ve discontinued it and just recently started back making it. I haven’t seen it in YEARS. The original formula was very thick, almost paste/chalky, it had a light powdery scent, and it worked great on everything in the interior, conditioned the plastic great, wasn’t greasy or too shiny, wouldn’t streak or grease up the glass or gauges, would clean carpet stains too, it was an absolute miracle in a bottle. Really hope they didn’t change it.
Brian, Great video ! An interior product that can do it all, without streaking. How long does the UV protection and the color deepining last, before you have to reapply this product ? Thank you.
This is the best stuff ever made, unfortunately they discontinued it! I don’t know what else to by because nothing compared to this. What ALL IN ONE cleaner/protectant did everyone switch to
I used Ice Interior for a few years and it is an excellent product. However, I recently switched to Jax Wax Total Interior. FAB Automotive Detailing review Jax Wax and I tried a 16 oz bottle for $16. I loved it so much, I purchased a gallon jug off Amazon for $40. In my opinion, it cleans as well as Ice but leaves smooth surfaces a bit more glossy. It also smells really clean with more scent than Ice, but not overbearing. Both are great products but I do prefer using the Jax Wax Total Interior a little more. Nice video Bryan!
Brian thanks for all the informative videos. Question, for ceramic sprays, do you need to throw out the towels after buffing off the ceramic spray like traditional ceramic coatings? Thanks.
I purchased this and have loved it for years! i can not find it now. do you have another option for me to have a one shop shop like this. i use on rubber, plastic, glass and carpet a little.
