Nice setup bro!! I have seperate amplifiers for all channels(5.1) and to all of you who have never had seperates in your system do'nt knock it until you tried it, some people think it is overkill but the sound really is amazing!!
I am somewhat of an audiophile James. I have a lot of Bryston gear, some California Audio Labs gear and NHT 3.3 speakers. Back in the day it was close to 15K for the whole system. Funny how these days nobody even bothers with a CD player and at the time the Cal Audio CL-10 was considered the best 5 disc on the planet. Hardly worth $250 now LOL. But it is to me. My stuff is probably considered "lower to mid level high end". It can get insane if you have the money to spend. Good to see you here on the Tube. Been too busy for the boards but I always check your channel here.
Those are list of nice equipments. Yeah I agree with you. Audio/video hobby can be very costly, but just need to work with your own budget. I'm still a fan of physical media. Blu-rays for watching movies and CD for 2 channel listening. It gives me better experience and sound quality rather than streaming. Thank you for the support and generous comments.
I just love what you did here all my favorite gear in one spot , I'm looking to do the same when I get the funds. I'm looking at marantz receivers but denon would do just fine , it is what I have at the moment I have a denon avr 890 old thing but it is what I have also running a pair of really old energy 5.1e speakers and a definitive center channel with a energy 12 inch sub . It has nothing to do with high end, but you have really good setup. As you can see brand name and made in does not matter. Quality and wiring is. In fact, I'm pretty sure it is really good theater setup. I would recommend to not listening anyone's know-it-all. I called it laughable. Overall, you did a good job. By the way, I have Oppo 205.
IMO, everyone has different taste, sound preference, and allowable budget. You just need to find what you like thru research. I'm very content with my set up. Oppo made amazing bluray players and I'm sure you're enjoying the 205. It's too bad it's discontinued. Thank you for the comment and watching my video.

I almost never got all new theater equipment, most of those are from ebay and thrift. The newer AV Receiver does not have the phono input and the 7.1 input, except for Marantz. So I have old Onkyo AV Receiver with phono input and 7.1 input in theater room.

Back height channels are since that was installed originally with the moldings. I put the front height channel much later and didn't want to mess with the molding. Thanks for watching.

I really like my outlaw amplifiers and highly recommend it. I run a lot of devices to Panamax power conditional, so I can't comment about power consumption. If you play your music and movies above average listening level, you'll notice the difference with outlaw 5000. I'm not sure how many channels you'd run, but if budget allows, I'd go for 7000 model for extra channels and additional features. Thanks for watching.

When you have it powered on without playing anything, Do you get any type of hum? Do you still own the same setup till date?
@@dadevastator24_77 $300 is a steal if it's in good condition. My amps are connected to Panamax and no hum at all. All my audio gear is still the same. I recently upgraded to LG C9 65" OLED. My next upgrade will be 3 front channels probably mid next year.

Great set up I’m using the elevations 2 but only one pair. I’m using them high on my side according to the SVS people that’s the best option if you only have one pair. And do you know you can mount them in your ceiling? I wonder if the effect will be better. Cheers!

To get the DOLBY ATMOS effect you need to place the 4 sealing speakers above you and not in front. Let them hang over your head that the way to do it ;D
Not true. It's only up-firing set up that doesn't work. Yes, it's better to have ceiling speakers for Dolby Atmos, but height channels can have the similar affect.

Hi, I see you have a ps4 connected in your set up. Did you encounter the error of HDR not supported through the receiver? If so how did you over come it? I have a ps4 pro connected to a marantz receiver using 4k passthrough & it will not work for 4k it keeps my ps4 in 2k but when I go directly to my tv the 4k works.
It might be the setting on your TV or AVR. With my Samsung 4k TV with UHD turned on (this setting can vary depending your TV brand), I have no issue with HDR on my PS4 (it's not PS4 pro). Also, check your HDMI setting on the marantz. Hope this helps.

I’m fully aware that if you have separate power amp’s it can make a difference to the performance of your speakers but as I was saying one decent av receiver would be more than enough to power you’re cheep not so powerful speakers i I’ve got a denon 6400h and it has more than enough power in it for my bowers and Wilkins CMS2 and my kef R50 atmos speaker’s 7.1.4 bye the way I was thinking about buying a separate power amp my self recently because when I got the atmos speakers the sound was a bit lower than it was previously with out them so I called my local hifi retailer and asked do I need a separate power amp now they could have said or yes you do just to get a sale but guess what when I told them what receiver I’m using the expert told me my receiver was more than capable of powering my speakers and that atmos sound is lower than say Dolby true hd for example and it’s nothing to worry about and as I said at the beginning of this if you had some bigger and better speakers you would need separate power amps

IMO, for their price range and size, it's great. Can't beat going dual with RSLs for $800 and their customer service is excellent. I had them for about 3 years before getting SVS SB2000s and have no complaints.
I believe they are rated to reach 22Hz, but I think they struggle beyond 26Hz. Very smooth and deep for $400 sub. It's matter of your listening preference and budget. You can try both RSL and SVS, since they have 30-45 days return policy.

I know side surrounds are too high, but that's the only place I can put them and work fine. My front and rear height channels sound great with slight adjustment on db gain.
You’ve got a lot of stuff on the bench that doesn’t need to be there all them extra amps and stuff why not just get a decent receiver but I guess if you did that it might not look as good don’t be fooled people this is a bog standard setup
I know.... out of everything that was the ONE thing that stood out to me as well. Especially if you already have height channel set up BUT I also understand that not every room is ideal and some times you just have to settle for what your room can handle and it's your room so you can do whatever you want obviously

It's matter of preference, but try mounting them high. IMO, you'll get better sound image and effect.

I have an apt. My speakers are bookshelf klipsch. 75 inch 4k hdr. Tv. Do I need a the 2200. On each set.
For bookshelf speakers, monoblock amplifier will be overkill. I'm no expert, but you should be fine with just traditional receiver.
what's the measurements of top and bottom shelves of your tv stand
