Thanks for watching the video on our 72' Split Bumper Camaro For Sale! - Розваги
Nicest 72 Camaro I have ever seen. Clean, sharp high end build. Hope you sold it and hope new owner happy.
Thank you! We did sell it and the new owner loves it!
Different build from other Camaro's on UA-cam. This one looks fun to cruise and drive anywhere, a real head turner. Good luck with your next build...
Thank you!!
This is the Camaro, Chevy should have made !!!!
That is an absolute beauty. Great job. Hope you get some coin for that baby.
Appreciate it!
Damn nicely done . Wished I had 100k sitting around lol
Thank you!
Wow, just perfect, congratulations.
Great job it is a master piece!
Not a Chevrolet guy but that car is sick.Put the Twinkmeister in the ad and it will sell.
$150K and the Hood won't stay up,,,just bustin balls Nice ride
Lol! It’s gone now!
I do! Love the L88 hood!! Why one rear view mirror though?
that is so well done. I can usually fine something I do not like. I like that whole car. sure you got your money on it.
We appreciate that!
Oh very crazy, very nice.👍🏻
That's a sweet looking scoot!!!
Thank you!
Really nice look for that car
Thank you
Nice to see you sold it, worth the money for who bought it...cheap in my opinion still but that's how it goes, nobody wants to pay the full price...
Big fan of the second gen camaro's.
You got a new project going ?
Thank you. We appreciate that! And yup, definitely got another project! Lol
Awesome build! Would you mind telling me where you got your parking lights?
Love how the grill doesn't stick out with that extra ring around it like most the 70-73. Is that custom or was that stick to not have it?
Wow ,wow,wow!!!😍
She’s a beauty!
Very nice build, how many miles on the engine since the build?
Thank you! We sent you a message back on FB.
Damn she’s nice 👍
Appreciate the comment! Thank you.
What is the color grey that is love it
Fuck that’s nice
Thank you!
Whats the name of those wheels and where did you get those side decals or were they painted on?
hey bro I bought this car and I need help its not running right now, it got dropped off and drove it off the trailer and died
Who’d you buy it from? Have you called them?
What brand of wheels are those
Did it sell ?
It did!
How much did u get ??
Did this ever sell?
Sure did. A long time ago
If you're going to make a split bumper car you really should use the proper nose pieces, not just small bumoers on full bumper nose
Well it’s a damn good looking car and it already sold!
The ugly stripes and getto wheels got to go! And get hood hinge springs
Well this ugly car already sold! 😱
Budget Rebuilds theres an ass for every seat! Not saying the car is ugly i said the stripes were ugly and the wheels are real bad but thats my opinion! And yes when your hood closes all by its self its time for springs!🧐
@@jameshankssr466 or a couple more psi in the shocks. I think the hinges were billet
@@jakefriesenjake a couple psi in the shocks aint gonna help those ugly ass wheels and the stupid stripe and the hinges arent billet they’re worn out
@@jameshankssr466
Yeah, not my fav. But they do kinda match the side stripes. Not that bad, but again not my favorite.
I'm building an 81 z, I went with Boyd's polished junk yard dogs. 20x10's in the rear, 18x7's front. I swear I'm not fully copying "Trent Goodwin's 79 Camaro", because I already had the rear rims, but I needed to find a new color for my Camaro (wife do not like flat black). I came across his Camaro (gm lemans blue paint) and loved it.
He has a regular tall cowl hood, but I already bought a glass cowl hood, with the L-88 scoop thing on top.
Look up his car, it's been in some magazines. Basically the look I'm going for. His has air bags, but mine is just slammed as low as she can go.
Trent's z. :

And by the way, those are billet hinges.
I double checked in slow mo, with screen shots, zoomed in.
They look like polished fesler built, or these from Camaro Central :

So a few more psi should do the trick.
You should never have listed this car as a split bumper camaro because it is not. The true split bumper is a whole different front end and you should know that. Your car had a full bumper originally
It sold. A long time ago
It’s not a split bumper. Don’t call it what it isn’t.
I had the same point of view but they don't care, car is sold long time ago. I hope new owner doesnt refere it as a split bumper lol
Fake split bumper car. Amazing how many fake RS Camaro's have popped up in the past 15 years.
A $70k car is a $70k car...it’s already sold anyways!

No doubt about it, the car was a work of art and you are a first rate builder to create a car of that caliber.
I'm 70 years old and I still own my almost all original (except for headers and scatter shield [still have the original parts] ) 1970 Z/28 RS. Oddly enough, mine is Cortez Silver. Mine is sitting at just over 96,000 ORIGINAL miles.
You know how it is, all car guy's have their little pet bitches and mine is fake split bumpers. It just drives me crazy to see someone spend all the time and money that it takes to build a car as magnificent and beautiful and detailed as you did that car, then just throw split bumpers on it without changing the other front end parts to make it 100% correct. However I GREATLY COMMEND YOU for using the correct hood latch and not leaving the gaping hole in the grill where the under bumper hood pull was originally located. (At least I didn't see the hole in the grill).
The car was magnificent in everything I could see (baring my pet bitch) and it takes a TRUE CRAFTSMAN to create show class art. The car is dripping signs of YOUR ability and expertise.
I'm happy that the car sold for you and I hope you got what you wanted pricewise.
If you don't mind me asking, what state do you live in?
We are in Georgia. We’ve all grown up around cars. It would take hours to list all of the ones we’ve had and been around. 69 Camaros, Chevelles, saleens, you name it. Melissa actually has a 93 cobra in her garage with 40k miles on it. If it looks good, we like it. And to each their own. If a certain thing makes somebody love their car, the kuddos to them. That car was a head turner and everybody loved it. We’d love to see pics of your Z28!
And they look better than the real rs. That nose sucks.
This IS NOT a split bumper. What a joke of false advertising
Don't call it a split bumper. There's no such thing. This is just a non Rally Sport car with Rally Sport bumperettes. Back in the day, people hacked their non rally sport bumpers to make them look like these. Eventually, people would weld a "cap" on the inside edge to make it look not so crappy, then people started using actual factory rally sport bumpers and naturally they made their way into the aftermarket.
Again, there is no such thing as a Camaro "split bumper". It's not a thing. It makes one look ignorant about the car.
