Can an owner install the kit? or does it have to be done by a dealer? also do you have to change anything with regards to the fuel system? or simply bolt the turbo on and go? any idea on rough install time? Im in Ontario Canada mind sharing what dealer you referenced? I would be interested in possibly seeing a kit installed in person if they have a customer that wouldn't mind the meeting

Very well, we have 2 large US and 1 Canadian dealer selling these on new tractors. Our 10+ year experience with this motor in the Kubota RTV units means we know how much we can push them without issue. I can't recall out of close to 700 RTV kits sold an engine or drive-train failure directly due to the added power of the turbo. They are stout little motors that seem to love the boost :)
@@autowhisperer2511 We never stated otherwise, we stated that our experience with this Kubota motor means that we are not pushing it to it's limits and can't recall any failures directly related to the additional power of the turbo.
70-80, yes, that is extrapolated from the work we did on the RTV with the same Kubota motors, we weren't able to fit the tractor on the DYNO to give exact #s on the 4500y yet. The customer feedback has been great, we have one dealer who can't keep the larger mower decks in stock now, because customers with the 4500y are able to finally use them. We have another customer whom had a 6ft deck and a grass roller and he would have to mow first and then roll after, he has since upgraded to a 7ft deck and can mow and roll at the same time, more than doubling his productivity. We are working with one of our dealers in PA to rig up some sort of PTO attachment power test, but with the customer feedback being so great, everyone is busy selling and installing the kits :) Thanks for your interest, let me know if you have any additional questions.
@@TurboKitscom I added the Turbokits.com turbo to my 4500Y and couldn't be more pleased. I'm not sure if the stock Kubota diesel can even spin the tires. But I can now. If the going gets tough when you're pushing or pulling, just give it more throttle (anywhere over 3,000RPM's) and you'll notice a big difference in power. It was mucho dinero--but I'd do it again.

Not gonna lie, hearing a Ventrac 4500Y with a turbo whine is pretty durn sweet.

Most aftermarket parts of this magnitude will void any factory warranty.

It will bring up the diesel to around 34HP. Made a big difference on mine.

Is this only for the 4500Y, or do you have a 4500Z version? What HP/torque is the Y getting here?
This is only for the 4500Y at this time. We about double the torque with this turbo :)
