The irony of this movie from Disney despite being a great movie is the fact that Hades in Greek mythology is actually not a villain. Like at all lol. Hades frequently helped demigods and would never release the titans or giants on his brothers. He's a loving husband and a very powerful god.
Fun Fact: I saw you noticed that Scar's image was in here. Disney oftentimes sneak characters from other Disney movies, so you will see a lot of characters crossing over in other movies.

The Norns are deities in Norse mythology responsible for shaping the course of human destinies. The Norns spin the threads of fate at the foot of Yggdrasil, ... I am just pointing out another similarity between the mythologies.
There were several stories like that in Greek mythology. One I remember was a couple on their wedding night (the actual names I cant remember at the moment) where the bride is bitten by a venomous snake and dies. He travels down to the underworld and begs for a second chance. Hades says they can have it only if he leads them out never turning back to look and to see if she is there till they are out. Just as they are about to exit though doubt starts to fill his mind, has she been behind me, is she still there and he looks back making eye contact with her and at that moment she is pulled back into the underworld forever feet away from leaving the hell that was the underworld.
46:07 fun fact: technically there is a way for a mortal to go into the river of Styx (where Meg’s soul was in) and get out alive. Achilles’s mother dipped him into the river. Through going into the river of Styx (while being alive), he was made partially immortal. The only place he could die was his heel.

28:11 scar👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Disney is really with their Easter eggs😍😍😍😍
Love that you did this one 😌
This movies is soo underrated the music is top notch. Gets hate cause the mythology isnt very accurate at all. But i love it and meg is hot af
Even despite how inaccurate it is even for a Disney movie I still loved it as a kid
It may be mythologically inaccurate, but the changes are really for the better, considering how not kid-friendly the myths are. Still one of my favorite Disney movies.
Plot twist ..scar was attacked by hyena but escaped injured. In the Greek mythology Hercules once fought a lion and it wasn't mufasa...😁
Awesome I love it and I love Hercules.
React to Homeward Bound, watch it with your dogs too.
This is Disney's version of Superman. Hades is my favorite Disney villain
The scene with the Lernean Hydra is pretty frightening.
Yes,it is
I've only been watching for a few seconds and I can already tell that Leia is way into me.
Please do Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie (1995), Men in Black 2, and Men in Black 3
Guys you got to react to "RRR" which is on netflix, it is the most insane batshit film of the year coming from India, kindly give it a go.
Personally, I'd like to see you 4 react to this movie.
Bolt(2007).
It is known as the "Forgotten Disney Movie." I think you'll love it.
I thought that was The Black Cauldron.
24:00 - I am not sure if it is exactly what you referencing in Bulgarian, but in English and in mythology these are hydras, which are serpents with legs that have multiple heads :)
React to the hunchback of notre dame from 1996
Hercules is the original Superman story.
Y'all should watch Disney's the hunchback of Notre Dame...
Anyone notice scar from lion king
Yep. Loved it.
40:44 No, he didn't become a "true hero".
As Meg said while a couple of you were yelling, the deal Hades made with Hercules got broken, because she got hurt. Their deal was that she wouldn't get hurt.
not that serious go outside
@@rosa_stars349 Take your own advice if you're that fragile to correction. 😂
That part always gets me in Hercules where they show scars dead remains so creepy and gross😮
Cronus the leader of the titans was actually the father of all the ancient Greek gods like Hades (who was the oldest) and Zues (the youngest) after their defeat Hades actually should have taken over but in the greek legends was screwed over by both his younger brothers Poseidon who took the seas and Zues who took Hades place leaving Hades stuck in the underworld.
You know, as a kid the planet lining up never made since to me and it wasn’t until I was older that I realized that the movie was using Greek belief that we were the center of the universe
