Greig's first bike, introduced to the knowledgeable way, build the bike yourself! Hope it inspires new riders and anyone wishing to take on a project to give it a go
What a fantastic watch!! Throughly enjoyed watching every bit of that! Makes me want to do something like this myself! What a fantastic bunch of blokes 🤘 subscribed keep up the great vids
Totally agree there is no better way to learn than to do it from the ground up, he's hit the jackpot learning from you John you can see how much Greig is enjoying it I'm sure this will be a lifelong love of bikes for him. Great to watch and what a transformation great job guys enjoy your bike Greig.
@sarmentinho Some parts from Dave Silver, others from sellers on eBay, the paint was from an auto supplier, 2k primer and base coat and 2k lacquer. I will do a video breaking down all parts and the costs
@@johndocbikerestorations831 thank you so much! My main concerns are to pick the correct primers, paints and rust treatments to mine. Currently my restoration is halted due to baby taking all the time, but your video felt so good to watch, I enjoyed a lot! 😊
@sarmentinho I hope you get progress with your project, you shoukd be fine if you stick to 2k primer and 2k solid black for the frame. Panels require plastic primer before painting, easily done. Good luck 👍
@@johndocbikerestorations831 I hope so I have built all my transporter t5 and now I’m on his 50cc moped I have got it running and riding the previous owner messed with the carb settings and would not start up. Hello, I am also restoring mine, but having trouble on choosing products. Can you provide a list of the products and paint you used?
