Thank you my friend, I’m going to crack the Red Breast 12 Cask Strength soon to see if it can be redeemed on my palate. Appreciate you checking it out!
I’ve wanted to buy a good 100% rye, so I was eyeing on Whistle pig 10, but then I sampled Archie Rose Rye Malt, I immediately bought it. The only problem is it’s expensive! I’d love to try the red gum variant.
Incredible List of tasting. I can fully agree with Bowmore evaluation. But for me is interesting your opinion for Bulleit Rye. I had bottle and for me excellent whisky , spicy and full of flavour. Have a nice day to Australia from Central Europe.
Thanks for watching! I must say though I am not the biggest Rye drinker so that plays a part in my take on it, plus trying some other Ryes that I much more prefer over it factors into my opinion 🥃😊
Great to see soo many Australian whiskies featured I really like Starward and their finishes. Amazing amount of tastings mate!!! You denied a bunch of whiskies and I agree with most of them.
Thanks brother, I actually thought I recommended too many 😂 I definitely lean towards giving whiskies the benefit of the doubt, so if I reject it, it's usually pretty poor in my eyes.
Hell of a lot I havne't tried, but enjoyed your quick concise reviews. The ones I have tried mostly agreed, however I will disagree with the Chivas 12, I didnt like it, it's not for me, the 18 on the other hand I thought was great & a very affordable 18yo. As a cheap every day sipper I'd suggest the the Dewars 12 or 15. I think both are better than the White Label & 18yo expressions, surprisingly great value for money.
No WAY did you just burn through 120+ whiskies in one video. Amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it, wow. I’m definitely BUYING into this video. If I could super-like something, I would. Excellent video mate.
Thanks Elras! Never feel you need to drink more whisky, if there is one thing I’ve learnt from doing this it’s that quality is always better than quantity 😉👌
Great question! For me the best quality for price ones: - Ardbeg 10 - BenRiach The 12 - Port Charlotte 10 Heavily Peated - Either of the Cape Byron expressions - Chivas 18 - Glen Scotia 15 - GlenAllachie 12 - Glencadam 10 / 15 - Virtually any GlenDronach - Glenfarclas 15 - Any Ledaig - Talisker Port Ruighe Hope this helps!
@@McIntyresMalts thanks, the ones on your list I have tried, I agree on :-) Are missing the Talisker 10 though, and maybe also the Aran 10 and my personal favorite Craigellachie 13.
@@torbenmortensen75 oh yes I did miss the Talisker 10. I haven’t tried the Arran ten (on my list to buy) or the Craigellachie 13, but I have a bottle and will open it soon on camera 😁
Yes, we absolutely can, but be prepared to pay a lot of tax and customs on it when it lands. You may find this tool helpful customs.thewhisky.ninja/?fbclid=IwAR0AZDYHz8t0AFpRDmD4l5dNjG0Ss8deCON8gZAZOq1Zfv0U0jKAQD8qhUU

Great video. Some really great whiskies in there. Was only surprised by the redbreast.

Part 2 coming soon, and more whiskies this time 😉
I love that you show the image on the side. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Alex, thought it would make it easier if people could see the bottles in case they want to chase them!
What an awesome video. Looking forward to following your journey over the next year mate, Keep it up
Thank you Paul! Appreciate the kind words and you enjoying the video! ☺️🥃
I’m not new to whisky, but I’ve stuck to three brands for 40+ years until recently! Appreciate this presentation.
Thank you my friend 🥃
That's a big year of tasting. A lot of good bottles and good recommendations in there. Nice job!
Thanks mate, been a lot of good whisky consumed this year for sure. Let's see what I can get my hands on in 2023!
Hell of a list Wade! Twas a great year! I agree, that Hyde can take a hike! Keep em coming man!
Thanks Freed! Was indeed a great year for all things whisky! Cheers my friend 🥃

Archie Rose is definitely making some interesting expressions!
That Whisky Sponge sounds absolutely fantastic! Great speed list mate with some now added to my try/buy list. Cheers
Thanks Jeff, glad you got some new ones out of it for your list! Was a lot to get through!
The greatest video I have ever seen ..
Was definitely a lot of fun to make (and partake in!) thanks for the kind words! 😁🥃
I will do a part 2 at the end of this year, stay tuned!

Would you please do it for the last year's 2020,19,18,17,16,15?

what a video unbelievable! I would agree with 95% of the whiskies I have tried.

Chris this is quite possibly the best comment I have ever got mate, thank you!
Loved this video...also I need to try harder (drinking more whiskeys) 🙂👍

Great list, thanks.
Which ones are the best buys for you. Not the cheapest, but best price vs quality?
Best regards from Denmark.

- BenRiach The 12
- Port Charlotte 10 Heavily Peated
- Either of the Cape Byron expressions
- Chivas 18
- Glen Scotia 15
- GlenAllachie 12
- Glencadam 10 / 15
- Virtually any GlenDronach
- Glenfarclas 15
- Any Ledaig
- Talisker Port Ruighe

Where are Fettercairn and Deanston ? 😄
Can’t wait for you to review some of them !
I know! I have a few bottles of Deanston, working my way to them, it’s thirsty work 😮💨
Wow what a journey! So epic.
Been an epic 365 days 😂🥃
Looking forward to our next drinks my friend!
Finally! Someone mentioned 5NINES. Such an underrated SA distillery. I haven't tried the sherry as it's nearly $300 :o
Yeah it is criminally underrated, just wish it was reasonably priced
@@McIntyresMalts could say that about a lot of Aussie distilleries 🤔
@@jimmyjazz4605 indeed! Only Archie Rose, Morris and Starward and priced competitively
Very good video, but no GlenAllachie?
I have since rectified this! Check out my review of the 12 Vs. 15 👇

why not 365 whiskies in 120 days?

You must be rich beyond imagining…
I probably would be if I didn't buy so much whisky 😂
