Despite the lesser hardware the nes version is far more playable... also the nes side scrolling level mechanics are better thought of than this castrated mashup of bionic commando and ghost and goblins
Nice to know there was an arcade game. I know it because of the Nes port. Although the graphics look very Super Nintendo, the sounds is not as metallic and solid as it is on the Nes version. Some of the shooting sounds are anoying. The music either, even with the 8-bit sound they seem more dynamic and add a lot to the game. First time I have to admit that the home port feels better than the arcade 😊
At least the second revision of the US version has the original sprites, except Michelle Heart (the first player) wears green rather than magenta like in the Japan verison.

Played this on Nes, never thought it had original arcade version. So cool! All this technogenetical madness with ancient style;)
All that trouble just for a "thanks for playing!" sort of ending...tables were flipped. Your skills however are exceptional.

This was a very difficult arcade game. Shooter + side scroller. Brings great memories. Thanx for the vid cubex55.
In the Lucky stages, you can find a power-up by shooting the wall in the upper parts that are closed off.

The boss battles are so jokes, the NES version much improved the games shortfalls, but made it easier
