Looks good Fallon. Riding stallions during breeding is NOT for the faint at heart. The focus on making a run and uh oh there's a mare on the grounds in heat, wow.... Sometimes it was a fighting battle that added way more stress then needed. Your journey has been commendable, keep up the good work and reaching UP...

I barrel race two Western pleasure bred horses! One has been in the 1D multiple times❤ all about the heart!!!
My moms best western pleasure broodmare (w/ proven World Champion/Congress babies) was barrel racing bred w/ Jet Deck on the top and bottom. She definitely had and still has that barrel racing brain, she just didn't like going fast.

Who said there was no turn out? These stallions have a better routine than 95% of adults. We showed 5% of the facility.

I am so confused, so when your going to go to the ruby buckle you have to breed your mare to a ruby buckle stallion or have a ruby buckle stallion if you are breeding once you get your colt do you sell it or keep it and train it and make into a ruby buckle stallion I’m very confused😅
You have it pretty much figured out how it goes. Lol and the decisions you have 🐴 There’s more for sure but to make it simple, yes breed or buy .. keep to train & ride or sell
In order for you to compete at the ruby buckle your horse has to be sired by one of the ruby buckle stallions. Same goes for all incentive barrel races.
