@CiciVonStrangelove - If you have an opportunity, try this in combination with the Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird and delay for some hypnotically pulsing ambient goodness.
I hate to be comparative but this so reminds me of some of the stuff Slacker from Mqt MI put out back in the early 90's. Really great. I could have this on loop for hours.
As someone who knows her, I can tell you she's absolutely phenomenal. It's amazing how she can pick up a bass and just play a masterpiece Infront of your very eyes
Great demonstration! Love how it’s a bit more in depth because Cici has been using it for a while. Also cool how this pedal is so clearly designed for the stage. Very practical features!
Amazing video. Cici rocking out is great to see. More jams with people standing up would be awesome. Sitting down we seem like bedroom players. Standing up, we look how we would on a stage.
I love this! Incredible tonal choices and it remembers me of the best bamds when i was young, sonic youth etc. but with a modern twist so even better. Brilliant! Thanks!
I'd love to see Cici get some time with the KMA line of pedals. Most of them have a clean through, and particularly the Tyler pedal which is a hi/lo pass filter signal chain splitter, I think she'd really have some fun with it. Also the KMA Chief Disruptor is, in my opinion, the best muff pedal for bass I've ever played.
I’ve watched and listened to lots of reviews of this pedal where it sounded great, but really couldn’t get along with it when I bought one. Went right back to my 105Q and Red Muck Bass. Anyway, great playing from Cici here!
Ahh thanks so much!! I jam in this way a lot on my channel as I’m usually alone there so it’s a good workaround 🤣 got a whole playlist of this stuff in various styles (Cosmic Cruise, Strangelove, All Quiet, etc - and also some songs I wrote when I was 15 and 18, Moth and Stasis)
Man a cry baby bass was one of my first pedals back when I was new and knew nothing about what I was doing. IIRC for a while I only had a dan electro cool cat chorus pedal and a cry baby lol. I never really found a use for it in band or live music, but I’ve always had one and played around with one at home - wore out 2 or them over the years. I’d be interested in this when my current one does for sure
I currently only play guitar (though I'm thinking about learning bass at some point), but I settled on this pedal when I was looking for a fuzz-wah for my guitar a couple years ago. It sounds amazing on guitar, too, and it's super versatile and well-built. It's probably my most used pedal. Anderton's should do a second video on this amazing pedal from a guitar perspective, or at least include it in the "Tales from the Pedal Cabinet" series. :)
Excellent video (have to admit, i recently bought the morley 20-20 power fuzz wah for similar purposes. I'm very happy with it but this one seems to offer a few more options). In terms of future videos, I'd love to see Cici let loose with a Dingwall bass.
Imagine 3 hours of Cici and Pete just jamming Wait please that would be awesome!!!! I hate Tool so much!!!! How am I supposed to have any money if they keep putting out such awesome stuff?! Omg another piece of Tool gear that I must have😢
Wah on Bass is normally HOT! GARBAGE! Take Chris Squire's tragic, experimental tone from YES Tormato for example. BUT!!!!!!! what Crybaby and Justin Chancelor have done here is amazing. This sounds absolutely amazing. They have re-tuned the filtering axis to better suit the wider harmonic spectrum. Also the interface and the touch fuzz is great. This is an absolute award winner of somesort here.

I sold mine; not because it was bad, but unless you have a specific use for it it's pretty useless. Also, playing bass like cliff is pretty cringe these days
Thank you so much everyone for the lovely comments, really brightened my world! As did getting to film this video :)

Cici you always brighten my day. Your playing is just awesome!! I love that bass too 😀👍🏻
Cici that Bass intro was amazing 🤩 I love it 🥰
I'm not a bassist but anytime Cici is doing a video, I stop everything I'm doing and have to watch her since shes so amazing.
As someone who knows her, I can tell you she's absolutely phenomenal. It's amazing how she can pick up a bass and just play a masterpiece Infront of your very eyes
Cliff Burton in miniature female form. Absolutely splendid. More please.
Phenomenal intro from cici
I play guitar and still watch Anderton’s bass videos when they drop. Quality videos and quality presenters.
That opening jam was mesmerizing! Love watching you both and the joy you both bring. Thank you! Peace
yes way to start a video
Cici is such an inspiration, a great addition to this channel and her own channel is amazing. Every review is a musical delight.
Cici walking in with straight up ice in her veins, what a beautifully executed session
Cici f-ing rocks! 🤘🤘Lee kick botty also! I love their interaction. "All About the Bass" are my favorite videos!
Great demonstration! Love how it’s a bit more in depth because Cici has been using it for a while. Also cool how this pedal is so clearly designed for the stage. Very practical features!
Best bass intro ever on Andertons 🖤 You're A M A Z I N G ! Greetings from a guitarist in french Alps 🙏🏻🌸
Loved the opening. So cool!
CiCi carrying around an entire orchestra in that bass case! We are not worthy.
Amazing video. Cici rocking out is great to see. More jams with people standing up would be awesome. Sitting down we seem like bedroom players. Standing up, we look how we would on a stage.
Cici on bass god mode to start this.
That was one wide awakening introduction to a video. Cici you rock. We love you and we're glad to see you in another video.
What. An. Intro. 🙌
Tell me you love tool without telling me you love tool - Cici edition 🔥
coulda listened to Cici's demo all day, brilliant, - best demo of this pedal thanks
I'm not a bassist, but I watched this whole thing because it was a blast!
Me neither but I love a bit of Wah!!!!
Bro she ain’t going to fuck you
Cici you hit it out of the park again slugger 💥❤️🔥🎸⚡️💯👊🏼
Thank you lady and gent! I have this pedal; I learned a ton more about how to really use it to its fullest...thanks once again.
Awesome video.
You’re crushing it Ci Ci 🤘🏻😎, good for you. Happy for your success
Awesome to see Cici back at Andertons 🖤 ... awesome intro jam ... I need to learn bass
Wah sounds great on bass! I learned something today! Thank you both!
Thanks guys great review, cool pedal !
I love this! Incredible tonal choices and it remembers me of the best bamds when i was young, sonic youth etc. but with a modern twist so even better. Brilliant! Thanks!
Totally epic jam Cici! You've done justice to the Chancellor tone!
She did an awesome job 👍
Kept wanting to drum to that killer stuff ! Fantastic.
Frigging killer, and awesome playing

I need that intro jam on spotify
So much fun to be had with some fuzz and wah. Please can you and Lee down your personal rig rundowns
It’s amazing her playing! She’s a keeper amazing player and a Beauty great song!!!!
Nice to see more than just Flea, treating the bass guitar as a lead-instrument! Totally awesome!

Awesome! Great honest demo, I love watching you two and I’m not even a bass player! Great energy and playing🎸👍
That intro makes me want to play drums with the snare wires off. 🥁🤙
You rebel you! 😅
@@Riverking1
I don't know if you caught the reference or not, but often times Danny Carey of Tool plays without his snare wires engaged.

Where you should be Cici, front and centre. That intro jam was awesome 👏👏👏👏👏👏
now im thinking to get this wha for the bass, sounds lush fair plays
Great bass player! I don't ay bass I'm a guitarist but this lady is excellent. Full of groove and rhythm.
That was an awesome intro jam!
Cici center stage!
that's one of the best intro loops, easily rivels Pete's for quality.
WE LOVE CICI! 🥰
I’d love to try one for guitar
Cici, be honest, you already ordered it when it was announced and have already integrated it into your board.
Great Intro!
Awesome Psycho-delic intro🎶💖👌
Nice demo Cici!
the intro 🔥🔥🔥
Cici! very impressive :-) loved the intro
Well! If that didn't open with the Cici I know!
That is a cool wah-wah!

a blast of sound in your face! awesome

I friggin love this pedal, and use the UK wah with delay all the time. The controls offer a ton of versatility. Only gripe is how bright the LEDs are.
Wow, great intro!

The intro bass tone reminds me of John Entwistle.
Cool intro, the Wah reminds me of Akira Takasaki’s Cry Baby signature, and same thing it gets some time to get used to the “Auto engage” feature
cc you are brilliant, that intro, outasite, what apiece of kit that wah is, loved the vid guys.
thank you.

Who needs guitar when you have Cici on bass! Great demo
Majestic
What an intro
This is like a Morley Cliff Burton fuzz wah on steroids. I'm curious to how it sounds with a guitar now.
I've had this shortly after it came out. I love how dark the fuzz can get, they have it set fairly bright but all a matter of taste.
They're downright giddy!
0:32 - 0:37 sounded like a Wookiee 😅
Fantastic intro!!!
Anybody got one; thoughts? Lot of cash to splash! Love how you can play clean and then drop some craziness. Any other pedals that do that too?
Brilliant playing by Cici it sounded very desert vibey

Me: “oh yeah I play bass”
Them: “wicked, so can ya hold down a root?”
Me: “…”
17:43 "wahction", surely?
Is this strictly for bass or can it be used with other insturments?
Sounds great but terrible build quality. Had two faulty ones in a row. Gave up and bought a Morley Cliff Burton which at least works.
Hi. Why do you use the name Cici sometimes and Carina at other times? Presumably CC are your first two initials?
