Nerfed Exo, nerfed HoTR damage reduced by 50%, "fixed" Holy Shield, and SoTR is still bad. Why do they hate Protection Paladins so much? Why do they force us play Retri as Prot? HoTR is a wet noodle. Vindicator will always be ten times better than Shield of Righteousness. Holy Shield deals 100 damage after a block with 400 spell power, and it's a last talent point in Prot, while Shamans have the baseline ability Lightning Shield that hits for 230 damage on any attack dealt to them. I wish they would give Prot Paladins 10% of the love Gladiator Warriors are getting.
Sarthe....pester your dev contact to actually fix hunters trap launcher on the ptr...so shit can be tested properly. Copy paste job from the functioning live version of it
Shadow Priest getting Vampiric Touch is actually just going to be a net no gain for them because now they will be regulated to healer groups if they have not been already. Not getting actual buffs to our damage is going to continue to see us at the very bottom.
Yeah, i was discussing this with my guild. Basically you are bound to healer group now (especially with shamanistic rage nerfs). Only way for shadow to get to pumper group is to be a second shadow priest (which won't happen lol) or mana issues for casters will be massive (which won't happen probably too)
Unless they over tuned boss damage BIG TIME then prot spec using shield slam and devastate while in glad stance is really OP as long as you have alpha buff for threat. The amount of damage they are doing will give all the threat needed along with threat generation from devastate and shield slam.
As someone who has 4 max lvl toons, with 1 at ilvl 99, in Tarisland, I can confirm, it's decent with very little in terms of p2w, but there's hardly any content to do after you've depleted your dungeon/raid charges. Pvp is a joke and you can literally complete all of the quests causally playing in a weekend. So that leaves exploring... meh. Good start but it desperately needs legs to maintain itself. Raid bosses and epic raids will be opening over the next 20 days but you can do all of its content in under a week, cause I did lol
What happened to events...in classic guilds and friends would get together and make content take over areas and wpvp in SoD no one wants to do anything at least on Livingflame horde side

They only top meters in the start of the phases, u can do a muti rogue now and press 2 buttons and do waay better dps, or a frostfire Magé and press basicly 1 Button and actually top meters with a scaling class lmao xD

Very few classes rotation isn't simple in sod. Again I don't care about complexity in rotation or being top dps. I do care about gutting the class so much people will shit on yiu for bringing it or not take them at all like ranged hunter in p2 for the longest time.
My thoughts exactly. In vanilla/classic I swung nightfall as a melee hunter for funzies, because I loved to meme. Pushed 400+ dps and had 60% nightfall uptime. I was loved for it by the casters. Having these little meme things disappear makes me sad

@@gregjross852 SoD has given players many of the same abilities that you’ll find in retail; either current retail or previous iterations of retail from Cata forward. SoD is just a Frankenstein version of retail built around the Classic framework. To say otherwise is just plain stupid.
SoD is so clearly a lazy devs creation. Imagine if the passion of vanilla actually inspired a proper creation of SoD. Where are the hidden zones to explore, or the creative quest lines, the awesome flavor items, and lore to back it all up. Just a mid retail-like money grab
You realize it's a really small dev team right. This was always meant to be an experiment, a testing grounds of sorts, for new things. You also realize that none of those things you want were ever really promised right? You want something from the game that, sorry to burst your bubble, will probably never happen.
the devs are probably putting in a lot of effort to get all of this working, whetever you enjoy the things or not. the devs however are not designers (or any sort of decision makers for that matter)
Content creators need to stop trying to push SoD. Game is trash. Classic enjoyers wanted Classic with quality of life changes, make other specs viable, and some newer end game content. Blizz said, sounds like yall want a retail version of Classic.

lol if your raid group only brings 1 warlock to raid, that warlocks going have to give up dps output to buff raids
as they should. Its an MMO, not everyone is there to DPS. Increase the DPS of your raid and learn how to play the game

I could easily design Classic+ they have created some interesting and fun items. But I think they fumble on the class designs.
