Honestly I think Gwen really nailed it, it’s all classic Gwen stefani and I’m not mad at her for having a makeup brand because it just makes sense

I love her eyeliner called bath water, it's a perfect match to my 👁️ eye color, just a bit more intense! It just glide's on with ease! I can't wait to try her eyeshadows, there the hardest to find that look good on blue 💙 eyes that looks kinda natural!
She's one of the only, if not the first, celebrity brand I'm not annoyed by. I have always liked her and I do feel she's always been a 'makeup person' with a signature look. I feel she does things with heart and I support her in my heart even if I don't feel the products are for me. For instance, I cannot rock a red lip to save my life!!! :D

I feel like if she did it cerca Rock Steady (as early as Tragic Kingdom would've been the coolest) then it wouldn't feel like a cash grab. There was a good 20 years where she was known for a certain look, but it is only now, after everyone has put out a makeup line, has she decided to jump on it too.
I believe, everybody can rock a red lip. You only need to find the right shade/undertone and then you'd shine! :D
@@claudis.4015 I agree with this. I've never seen someone in a red lip and thought it looked bad. At worst, maybe not the right undertone. But I think it always looks good on folks. I hope the original commenter gives it a go.

I adore Gwen I had all her Harajuku lovers perfumes and some clothes (L.A.M.B was out of my budget but I lusted after all the stuff.) I know she has rocked a neutral look with the red lip for a long time but back in the day she used to be a lot more colourful and I wish she would being some of that vibe to her makeup line.

Yep. I’m 41 and I still love Gwen and definitely No Doubt. Tragic Kingdom got through some tough teen times. I ordered the bullet lipstick as soon as I got the Sephora notification
Gwen was the original collaborator with UD in my opinion, it’s only fitting that she bring in her own brand. I am a huge Gwen and No Doubt fan as well, congrats to her on such a beautiful and CLASSIC take on makeup
She still uses that 2015 UD eyeshadow palette behind the scenes, she really puts out whatever it is she wants to have herself haha. Same for the LAMB clothes/shoes/glasses. And even her merch.
@@jt5733 I still use that pallet it is like one of my favorites it has a nice blue a pink a gold a good range of neutrals that are light and medium tone neutrals are really nice palate
My husbands band played with no doubt a few times before tragic kingdom came out. ❤️ back in the “ trapped in a box” days 😂
I love that it’s cruelty free and a clean line. Also, the lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes are refillable. She does have more colors coming up.

I practically RAN to the Sephora site when her brand launched! I’ve loved her for years as she makes up most of my childhood. The red liquid lip is my absolute fav and I believe a need for anyone who loves a red lip ❤️❤️
Setting aside the lippie, this gives me similar vibes to the Kaleidos recent release 🤔 I think I prefer this one? Also remember REALLY wanting the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette 🤣 Looking back, it was super light and neutral. Though it definitely matched Gwens's style. She joins the ranks of the vampires, along with Keanu Reeves and Paul Rudd. How can they not age at all 🤯
Money and staff. That’s how. I would look a lot younger thinner and generally look nicer if I had money to spend to have a cook and personal trainer and a facialist aesthetician and hairstylist at my beck and call. I’ve been thinking to start Botox and juvederm for a while myself now. I have a wealthy friend d who did it and it took off 10 years. She looks great.
@@ccl6192 peels help too and aren’t cheap but are much more affordable than lasers and have amazing results.
Unfortunately that won’t help me. I’ve been lucky my whole life until now. I have never had texture issues wrinkles or even fine lines really. I have serious volume loss and drooping/sagging. I had a consult and I’ll need to do a combo of fillers and Botox. I am starting to look like Skeletor 🙁.
i loveeee gwen. she’s been one of my idols for DECADES!!! i definitely think this brand is 1000% true to her, and i’d love to grab one of her lipsticks, quad and liner someday. ♥️♥️♥️
Stefani has always been creative, especially with her visuals. She even had her own fashion label. It makes sense for me that she's doing this. Only thing is that she actually should have done it sooner
"There's already a cat hair on it" that made me giggle so much. I used to have huskies (I miss them so much!) and I swear, every time I bought new clothes, they'd still be IN THE BAG and getting dog hair on them.
I still have husky hair woven in to my car carpet and my sweet sib has crossed the rainbow bridge over 3 years ago.
@@crystalgilbert3558 I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case for the houses I used to live in. My mom works for the government so we move a lot. I can think of at least three houses that probably still have husky hair in the carpets.
@@itscjrodgers dealing with that husky hair was unreal. I was always threatening to knit another dog out of her hair. (I don’t knit) I truly enjoyed the husky personality. Such a unique breed.
I’m a fan of Gwen and No Doubt and I had been waiting for her to launch her own makeup products for a long time. She nails it. The packaging and color look great. I’m sure she’s going to launch more soon.
Gosh that’s a gorgeous red 😻 And the brow pencil *might* convince me to try a brow pencil again, that would be a great color for me! I actually love that Gwen started her own brand. “I’m Just a Girl” was my feminist awakening back in the day and I’ve been in love with her and her aesthetic ever since. This all make so much sense and I’m rooting for her ♥️

I adore No Doubt (Return of Saturn was so underrated- Bathwater is the best song ever!!)….. I wanted to be Gwen when i was younger and throughout high school! Her look was so iconic- the fashion choices, the different hairstyles and her makeup choices 🤍🤍
I just wish she had done this years ago, like when she did fragrances. But still, I’m excited!

OMg I so as a Gwen and No doubt I’m 37 so I think we grew up in the same kinda vibes and the old school ska sound was amazing. I used save all my money to buy all shows in northern Cali for me & my BFF ❤️

You look amazing per usual. But for me the whole collection is a bit “meh”. If it wasn’t Gwen who was behind it I feel like no one would look at it twice, not at that price at least. But I can see how fans will like it !!

Red is my favorite lipstick color so when I saw Gwen was dropping a makeup like I was not disappointed. My only regret is not getting the blue eyeliner. Love your eye look.

My sister and I saw Gwen during her Vegas residency 3 years ago and she is possibly the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in person. I'm looking forward to picking up one of the quads eventually.

As always you’ve created a beautiful look. I think this shows that even as someone who is a lover of bright colors, you can rock a neutral eye & still look like a Rock Chick!! The lip & brow color are on point for Gwen & you, and as you said, she has the perfect components to expand the shade ranges exponentially for each product. I’m not a lover of matte lips so I’d be interested in the glowy version, the eye palette you used, and probably a brow pencil. Gorgeous look, Angie, and you look ready to knock your husbands socks off!!

I love Gwen. I bought her eyeshadow palette when she collaborated with Urban Decay. The look of her current collection has the same vibe. Excited to try the lipstick.

You created such a pretty, classic look! I’m waiting for the VIB sale to pick up a lipstick and maybe the quad with some shimmers in it. I love Gwen but I was surprised that she didn’t venture too far from what she did with Urban Decay. I have the palette, blush palette, and some of the lipsticks from that collection. I was waiting for your review but Im such a Gwen fan. I saw her with No Doubt way back in the day I think right after Return of Saturn came out. So good. You rock Gwen look. I think with someone whose had so many iconic looks she has alot of possibilities for new releases and collections.

I think a good Navy eyeliner is a great staple to have! It's a great alternative to brown when you don't want something as harsh as a black. I wish more brands did dark Navy liners. (maybe Gwen will do one without the shimmer?)
I loved No Doubt. I wasn’t particularly interested in this line until I watched this video. Now, I’m really thinking about it. Even though I don’t do neutral eyeshadow anymore. Lol. The look you created is beautiful!

This is very very her but I’m not a neutral girl. I have so many high end palettes that feature some of those types of neutrals and it doesn’t seem like the lipstick is all that special. BUT I really appreciate Gwen doing a line that doesn’t feel like a cash grab. It’s her look that you can buy and the packaging is really really nice

She is definitely The Queen of 💄 Make-up she should've done it long ago!I like how she waited though ....she does the makeup look we did in the 90s. The loook turned so nice 🥰😍. U look like a rockstar. The lipstick looks promising, but I second you, that they need to release a lip liner, actually the one you’ve used doesn’t seem like a perfect match, and I think has to be for the lipstick formula. Surprisingly I’m intrigued by the palette, the light colors looks so 🤩, great cool neutrals, kind of remains me some shades from the it’s taupe palette (colourpop) and glam palette ND. Hummm. Great Gwen, kind of refreshing in the boom of celebrity makeup lines. And of course the packaging is soooo appealing
I have been a long time fan of Gwen and No Doubt. I loved her Urban Decay collab and like you said, because she’s blonde, her makeup works well for us blondes. I’m not 100% sold on the branding (how does gxve sound like give?? And the country bandana print) but the products are all good. I think the eyeshadow quads are very boring but the blushes are beautiful and the eye pencils are creamy and solid. The red lip is great as well. I have been seeing a lot of this brand at TJMaxx by me too which I love that I can get her products on the cheap!!
Huh. The palette you bought is a lot cooler and more black and off white than expected. From onto. I was expecting them to be darker and muddier,. Gorgeous look!,
OMG I feel like that light taupe eyeshadow shade can be used also as a contour for fair skin tones, don’t you think? And maybe mix it with a darker brown for an eyebrow color?
