Despite you not loving the colour story, you pulled that look off with ease. And your hair looks AMAZING like that. I would kill to be able to get my hair to do that.
That's like perfect goth style palette! Greys, red, burgundy, black all the necessary colours for everyday goth.

While I am not in the star wars fan club, even I was confused with how was there no black.

Favourite character is definitely qui gon jinn. He was one of the first Jedis to see flaws in their ancient ways and go hia own way/ rebel to do the right thing, even if it means disobeying the jedi council. He was the OG rebel.
My favorite is ashoka. I hope she gets a pallette when her series comes out.

Mine is R2-D2 but I also fall in love with Grogu! Now because of Clone wars Ahsoka gets up there too. But noone Beats R2-D2. I also love love Ani❤
The look is beautiful. I love StarWars and will definitely be picking up this palette. I am wearing a black dress to my son’s evening wedding. He is a huge Star Wars fan. Maybe I should wear this palette- that would be fun.

I would deffo buy palettes based on tattooine and endor. Tattoine, sandy yellows and neutrals, with some khaki greens. Endor- forest green, sky blue, brown for ewoks and greys for the AT-AT.
R2D2 has always had my heart. Hubby says when people piss me off he hears the Darth Vadar theme in his head lol. So wanted to get it but the postage and customs made it silly money. :0( xx
Angie, have no worries: many (MANY) adults without kids dress up for Halloween. 😂 (And yes, I am extremely fair with a cool undertone-greys look great on me, and this palette is probably made for my skin tone. 😂)
I am on the fence about this. For me it would be more of a collectable, and I would have to bail it out of customs. But I have a completion urge, I have to confess. I would love a Leia collection, but I'd like to see more than a palette, maybe some super shocks, a couple of lippies. But it would have to be strong and powerful, yet elegant and feminine, and smart and witty. It is so difficult to do our princess justice!
I’d love them to have a line for the Queen’s - Leia, Amidala, Yram, Soruna, etc. They really brought some out of this world looks.
I think that the Devinah eyeshadow that’s has a black-to-red shift would go perfectly with the Darth Vader palette!
Fun story: When TFA came out, I wanted to take my mom to see it, but I made her watch the original trilogy first, so she could actually understand some of the references. When Vader said he was Luke's father, she was actually surprised! As if this was a huge revelation!! (I know it was supposed to be like that, but I think even those who have never watched SW know that...) Can you believe she had lived on this earth for over fifty years and did not know that? With soooo many references existing? I couldn't decide if I was awed or worried! Hahahaahahahha

Just catching up on my Angie videos and I grew up with Star Wars and my favorite character has always been RD-D2, so cute. I just love the originals and honestly haven't seen any of the newer episodes. I remember going to the movies with my Dad and brother's to watch the first movie and we were blown away by all the effects as I think about how much everyone loved it, and then it was a ritual that we had to see all the new ones and I was in my teens. Lol, dating myself, yep I am 52 and I love star wars. 😘

That said, I want to be excited for this because I love Star Wars but I feel like this palette isn't dark enough or red enough. I agree that a metallic black would have been perfect also a light silver and red duo-chrome would have been a fun way to represent his light saber.
I agree. The red should be more cool toned and really red to go better with the palette, this one looks more pinky warm tones red. The lack of a metallic black is strange and I love your idea of a red duochrome! I mean Angie makes it look fab but the colour scheme isn't quite right to me.
@@shendisackett The red shades are all off for the theme. Angie did almost make me rethink my opinion, but then I went to their website and that reaffirmed my decision to pass on this one. I feel like some of the shades are very similar to The Mandolorian palette, too.
I own several silicone spatulas. Stila made a tiny one. Perfect for inner corner eye detail work. Sephora has a pack of 2 different sizes. I use the small one a lot. Nyx also has a double ended spade shaped one. Great for tight point work. I use the silicone type applicators for: glitters, flakes, occas. super shock shadows, or any shadows that don't adhere to reg. bristle brushes. They're a breeze to clean too.

Obi Wan and Ashoka are my absolute faves 💙 I think palettes themed around different planets would be so cool (Tatooine, Naboo, Coruscant, Hoth, Bespin, etc.)!

If ColourPop released a Jar Jar Binks palette it would be confirmed that the people running that brand are total trolls. 😂 There's no way to interpret that other than an internet joke.

My favorite is Ahsoka... she was fierce and didn't let any side blind what she believed was right. But also she was willing to forgive and tried so hard to bring Anakin back... 💕
I love how the orangey-red + cool toned burgundy looked "weird", but also cool. When you added the glitter, you looked like an elegant Sith Lady on her way to the ball. 😁🖤

I don't know how I didn't lose my mind over this palette. Greys and reds are some of my favorite eyeshadow colours to wear, I'm a huge Star Wars fan, like everything about this should have been screaming my name and it just....wasn't IDK. It's one of those things that I'm like "I'd really like to own that at some point in the future, but meh, not in the mood rn"

My cats are named Poe and Finn so I would looove a palette for them…that or a BB8 palette 😋. I’m not in love with the color story for this palette but I think I still may pick it up just bc I love SW so much.
Love that you pointed out that everyone misquotes "Luke, I am your father". That's the kind of nitpicking that I am HERE for. I do this a lot with Alice in Wonderland quote "We're all mad here". In the book, the Cheshire cat does say "We're all mad here", but the Cheshire cat in the Disney 1951 animated version says "Most everyone is mad here". So, when I hear that, I often very annoyingly respond with, "Are you quoting the book or the movie?" 😂😂 Ah... it's amazing I have any friends.
Beautiful look! I don't think i can pick a single character, but I was a newly teen-aged girl when A New Hope first released, and Mark Hamill's soulful eyes looking out at the sunset really took me, you know? I do love grays of every sort, and I intend to pick this up sooner or later...
Adding the matte Black (with red shimmer) tied the whole look together. The matte Burgundy gives it a cosmic dimension. That's a proper Sith look now. You made it work.
I really want this palette, but I think I'm going to wait until it goes on sale. I'm a huge Star Wars fan too. My favorite characters are Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Darth Maul... honestly I love too many characters to narrow it down lol
I'm a casual Star Wars watcher, always enjoyed it, but have never been a fan like I am for Harry Potter for example. Favourite character has to be Ben Solo/Kylo Ren. I have a soft spot for truly grey characters that have both evil and good within them as they're the most human and interesting to explore. And Kylo Ren/Adam Driver carried the whole third trilogy, fight me. (jk I don't care enough to fight about this lol)
I really like the colour story and I've been looking for a good cool-toned neutral palette that you can still go somewhat colourful with which this one is, soo yeah, it's in my cart.

I love Star Wars and everything related to it. When I was little I would always try and do my hair on buns to be like Princess Leia 😆 I actually like the new character Rae. Also Rogue One I thought was great for tying everything in together. 😊❤️💄

Always have been a die hard Leia fan. That woman was raised within the rebellion and was ready to give her life for it. She sent the Death Star plans to Tatooine for safety and never gave up the rebellion knowingly. When those yahoos botched their stupid attempt to rescue her, she took over. I low key freaked out when I saw them drop a Star Wars palette from the original trilogy. That gives me hope this is not the last Star Wars palette!!!! Bought it the minute it dropped!

My fave Star Wars character is a tie between R2D2 & OG Yoda-they could play up the green color story so much more than they did with The Child palette this way. If CP does a palette for either of them, I'll be SO thrilled! Love the look you created with this palette.

I've loved Luke Skywalker since I was 12 (back in '97) and now I'm running on 37. So refreshing to have a heroic male character in the late 70s/early 80s who was sensitive and caring and won a moral victory through the power of loving family instead of violence. But I do agree Padmé would make the most sense as a character who can bring a really vibrant, fun color story to a future palette drop.

You probably know the geeky trivia Mark Hamill tells in a story he relayed on “The Graham Norton Show” (a UK talk show) about the filming of the “No, I am your father” scene about the line that was actually uttered as they filmed it, but the way he talks about how he was told of the “Dad Vader” reveal (as he calls it), and how Harrison Ford reacted when they saw it at the premiere is an absolutely hilarious watch. @@Impassion that's a good point. It just seems weird because they can make other dark shades shimmery. But maybe black has a different ingredient that's more expensive or hard to work with. :/

Love this! I love watching and learning different techniques! I also have similar eye lids so sometimes I put graphic liner to hide the imperfections but I'm going to try glitter!!

I think the contrast of some eye colors look pretty cool also. I think the first look before the black was pretty, in my opinion.
