When I am in holidays outside of Switzerland or Scandinavia, many people ask me (when they hear my swissgerman dialect), if I am from sweden (or from the netherlands) 😂

Watching this, I remembered that one time when I was with my mom watching TV and a Ricola commercial popped up. People in that ad were repeating a Swedish word. My mom raised an eyebrow and snorted quietly "They can't even speak properly..."
I laughed so hard! Now, don't get angry: neither my mom or I meant any disrespect but I have to admit, that word sounded so ridiculous, ugly and unpronounceable to us the moment we first heard it. And my mom is... well, the spontaneous kind. xD
I wish you could have seen the utter disbelief on her face, then the dismay as she said those words... it was so genuine and priceless! It still makes me smile widely when I think about it.
Good thing I didn't point out that the Ikea stores are from Sweden, I'm sure she would have commented on the peculiar "names" of the articles there! xD
Glad you liked it, thanks. :) I just looked it up: "Chrütercraft" was the word I believe. AND I just noticed it wasn't a Swedish word at all!! And now I look like an idiot (as usual anyway) xD
I guess my mom and I misheard "Swedish" when it was actually "Swiss". Oh my, just wait till I tell her!

You really need to a Skånska vs Stockholmska challenge! I lived in Stockholm and learnt Swedish for a year and Skånska is still a struggle.

That was a great language challenge with two languages that I do enjoy.
French, that I've known of since 1993 in high school, and Swedish, that I have liked for a few years and that I started to learn in 2015.
I came across your channel and some other Swedish languages channels too (GoSwedish, Aaliyah's channel, and Erik Edler's channel) in the process of doing so. Take care (Ha det så bra!).
