Fords shut off the AC when you floor it into what we used to call passing gear. AC uses a bunch of horse power so Ford shuts it off to give you full power when you pull out to go around someone. You can almost call it a safety feature. It's been like that for 40 years on any Ford I've owned and worked that way on my Mustangs. Automatic or manual. So yes, it blows warm for a few seconds until you let off on the gas.
What are you both on about? You know the dealerships don't build cars right? They are only there to fix them. Also, asking when you need the car back is common courtesy. Regardless of how long TJ had the car, it's a normal question as some people sent in a hurry.
The technicians get screwed and that’s why customers end up getting screwed with such poor service with their vehicles, particularly when it’s still under factory warranty. There’s a really good chance the tech got paid either zero or next to nothing to inspect those spark plugs initially hence why they will take forever and do such shoddy work.

A few years back I bought a new Porsche 911 that required a 2,000 mile break in or the warranty would be cancelled. The computer in the car recorded everything and in the event of an engine failure if the owner had been abusing the engine the Warranty would be VOID. I'm not sure what happened with your truck but I'll take a Ford older than 1992 any day over a modern car.
I genuinely don't understand why you would go back to your shop if you had an issue. Leave it at the dealer, it's a brand new car..... It's not your problem to fix, it's their problem
I'm so glad they told you not to touch this, this is NOT your fault.
Flashing check engine light is that major misfire
Catalyst damaging failure
I bought mine new 5 years ago. Hasn't missed a beat! 👍👍👍
Ford is getting back to their roots, selling new cars that break down immediately. Well done.

So polite “I know you’re busy.” They sold you a brand new defective vehicle, it should be priority 1 for them to get you squared away considering they surely already cashed your check. I get you catch more flies w honey, but I gotta commend your patience on this one.
The cars today are too sophisticated for unskilled UAW labor to assemble correctly.
A lot of it is half baked technology....something that isn't line workers problem.

Ford’s quality the last few years has been absolutely awful. All the stupid recall to these type of issues. I saw a 500 mile 80k f150 trans have a complete failure! These things costs too much money to have these problems. Clean it up Ford!

Welcome to new Ford hell. It will live at the shop and you may be allowed to drive it once or twice a year...
A blinking check engine light means some catastrophic engine situation that needs to be addressed immediately. NOT continued to drive. And I’m pretty sure a brand new engine break in does not include flooring it to redlining it as you bounce it off the rev limiter. Shame shame shame.

@@timholly400 My 24 GT is perfect!. Very gentle break in below 4K RPM for 600 miles and gradually worked my way up to a few 6K rpm shifts (manual trans) by 1300 miles. At 1500 miles it will go to redline. Zero oil consumption. i never go over 3K rpm until oil temp is at least 200 degrees. I have found that driving with my A/C on reduces my oil temp by as much as 15 degrees. A few years back I bought a new Porsche 911 that required a 2,000 mile break in or the warranty would be cancelled. The computer in the car recorded everything and in the event of an engine failure if the owner had been abusing the engine the Warranty would be VOID. Cost of a new engine is $76,000 plus tax AND installation. I broke it in right. No big deal since 4K rpm was over 100 mph.

Why did you keep taking it back to the shop just turn around, bro 🤣
I've been given an entirely new vehicle no questions asked with more miles on the odometer than this. Why the hell would anyone even investigate a CEL on a brand new vehicle is beyond me.
