OMG.....You guys landed at BWI (Baltimore) and drove to Dulles(Virginia) that's a lot of driving. I usually use Regan International. It's the best cause it's right there at VA/DC line . For some reason it does cost more and even the rentals are a few dollars more. I miss the DMV I can't wait to go back home !
Haha we feel that. Definitely a concern for us both as neither of us have lived in a place with snow. And we know visiting is a whole different ball game from living with it. But we will see. We definitely enjoyed our short stay though!
I went to the African American museum in Loiusville,KY, although it was beautiful, could not finish the tour because it was ridiculously FREEZING in the building. Someone let me know if the museum in D.C. is the same (cold temp) so can be prepared.

DMV is a great place to live! Super homey, and it’s central to the East Coast. An easy flight down South. A four hour trip to New York. Democratic leaning states. Friendly vibes.

The temp in the one in DC was actually very comfortable. Didn’t have any issues with it being cold at all.
