Battlemaster Fighter-spore druid combo is what I saw in one video, every enemy you killed rose up as a zombie with that build. there wasn''t a single wizard level there. 5 levels of fighter Battlemaster (extra attack), 7 in spore druid (Fungal infestation spell to make zombies). this build is interesting too. Oathbreaker paladin and spore-druid is another interesting combo maybe?
Worth noting about Aura of hate, it does affect enemies to. So every fiend you fight in the game being near you gets a little extra melee against you as well
when I play death knight, I pick 2 lvl paladin oathbreaker (just for the divine smite), and then 10lvl wizard. all int and charisma, the rest on constitution. at the begining of combat I transforme the environment to my advantage with area spells, and then I just divine smite everyone. I dont fell like strenght is necessary. For me it works.
Most people use aure of hate to buff them selves, although this is primarily for the paladin/warlock build sense you have so many charisma modifiers for damage and 18 charisma. You such a huge buff and is worth the small buff fiends and undead get (personally i never actually noticed because they are dead before it makes a difference plus good and evil spell makes that not a problem at all). Never considered paladin/wizard, could be interesting.
One DnD class I feel I’ve missed out on in BG3 is the Arcane Archer. I’ve played around with a few builds including a dex based Bard/Paladin but nothing my feels smooth. I’d love your take!
Time stamps in description. What would you want to see next? Elemental archer, dual wielding crit, monk and so much more were requested. But I am open for more!
Has noxious fumes with ichorous gloves been fixed? Previously it was bugged and only affected those hostile to the NPC you attacked. Aka you and your party.
I've been looking for a duel wielder build. My great weapon fighting la zel is my top damage hands down. I twin cast haste on myself (sorlock) and her and ,9-10 great weapon attacks now with a silver sword kills anything first round.
I had a few requests for DW. I have an endgame build already that does insane burst, but is for mid act 3 only. I am working on some new DW builds that can be used earlier. If you want to check out what I have, I have my end game one here, and a few others on the channel as well (oathbreaker assassin, and the Drizzt build) ua-cam.com/video/KDVLs9-CnuA/v-deo.htmlsi=BeAXuH4onZdJlkwX
i'm thinking 6 Pally/ 2 Necro/ 4 Bard as a death knight oathbreaker that still can summon some undead by using the crypt lord ring and through learning scrolls while still focuses on melee, 6 pally for aura of protection and spell slots rule (it's still rounding down right?) 2 wizard levels for necro sub class (primarily for flavor but is it worth it tho?) and lastly 4 sword bard as a full caster class that excels in melee (and extra feat) what do you think about it? and does blood of lathander blinds our undead summons also? i'm kinda new and really want to go necro death knight build, nice video btw!
Bard 6, Ek 6 or Ranger 6 with it can work too. *Though you won't have heavy armor with the bard version, but will have max ranked spell slots. (swords for 1 handers or Valour for 2hander)
In my game aura of hate condition shows up on my Create Undead mummy, my ghouls from Danse Macabre, and all other undead nearby including ones summoned by other party members. So I’m confused when I hear everyone say it DOESNT effect them
Check the damage numbers in combat log. The aura will still be there, but the damage won't. (Assuming it wasn't patched with the most recent update). Either way, I think the extra hp, number of summons, and damage from lvl 6 necro would be better anyhow.
Even if you can see the aura of hate in their passive list, it does not give them a bonus. Indeed the bonus is for melee attacks with weapons and as undeads do not use weapons then the aura is useless on them unfortunately... I wish they will remove the weapon condition in a future update.

this build sounds interesting, have a link?
Wouldnt eldritch knight still be better for extra spell slots?
Worth noting about Aura of hate, it does affect enemies to. So every fiend you fight in the game being near you gets a little extra melee against you as well
Can always have a cleric cast protection from good and evil on you for that
Another thing worth note: It doesn't work against ranged or unarmed attacks.
So Aura of Hate isn't worth it in this game, IMO
I love the ffX music as the backround

Samurai/Kensai build
@@oliverjensen223 this would be really fun to do.
Elemental archer sounds fun if you can make it like a ranged Gish.
Great job! Easy to understand as well as well thought out.
Thank you!

Wolf totem barbarian amongst a horde of undead. Could be a good for a secondary summoner/mele buffer.
I didn't even think of that. That would be a very nice support for it.
I'm a hardcore d&d optimizer coming into bg3 so I have tonsof strong builds and not enough time to play them lol
@@jakewarman7277 the struggle is real. I can relate for sure.

Or a sacred longbow, with paladin or cleric
Long bow cleric I for sure could get to work.
Very nice!

If it´s just for flavour.. You might wanna skip the wizard levels.
@@TheLocoreaper yeah maybe but u still need a wizard level to learn through scrolls right? Another level in bard wouldnt hurt i guess
get the thay book and thats 4 free undead so yeah it could work
@@tonyluong6732 yeah dude it’s super fun
You said this is the paladin version of the build, do you have any suggestion on other multiclasses, provided you keep wizard 6 for improved summons?

Yoo sick vid could you do an Glacier Knight?
Something like this? ua-cam.com/video/dSASqZviLoQ/v-deo.htmlsi=2pOiE3uhVjg_anUd

You should check out the deathknight mod
I dont know, disregarding the Spore Druid seems kind of wrong. but maybe you covered such a build elsewhere.
I had a couple of builds that used spore druid already. This one was meant to be different from those.
20:59 I thought the mountain pass was still considered act 1
It's the in-between with act 1 and 2.
@@Blood_Ronin fair also nice job with the editing, I like the distinct style your videos have
I want a Hercules build lol
Could you give your undead weapons tho🤔
I wish.
Elemental archer plsssss
This build still viable?
100%
Holy archer build has been on my list for a while.
Maybe a cleric/ranger knight split?
Just as long as you don't get sucked into the Divine Strike trap. Man, that ability could be so awesome if it just came 4 levels earlier.
