In Chesapeake, Virginia, all school buses have stop arm cameras. Anyone who runs them gets a ticket through the mail.
In my county in Maryland all the school buses have cameras and when that STOP sign on the side of the bus is extended it starts taking pictures. If you pass it a $250 ticket is mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle and no points are given to the owner But if you are stopped by the police when you commit the violation you get points plus the amount of the ticket.
You should include arrests. They just won’t pay the ticket. It needs to hurt for them not to stop.
stupid for that officer to pull over someone who was going 47 in a 45 tho
Fr tho 💀 the radar detectors have a margin of error so it prob wouldn’t even hold in court just wasting that poor guys time
Lower speed limit for the school zone
When children are present the speed limit is 25 MPH everywhere in America. I am guessing you must be in another country.
The speed limit shouldn't no 45 mph in a school zone to beginwith it should be 25 mph
The speed limit in a school zone , ( while active )is usually 20 mph
So our childrens lives are only worth 275 bucks? Tickets should be 10k
How about 500 million?
Minimum 1 year in jail, no early release and 10k ticket
8th Amendment prevents cruel and unusual punishment
Okay, now doin' 50, that is dangerous, genuinely, if someone were hit, there's a 90-100% chance of death or severe, severe injury if not death. I saw a deer with its intestines out in a 55 MPH zone, that can happen to you as a person if you get hit by someone doing 50-65, especially by a pickup truck, so common in North America!
Also, 70 in a school zone? Jesus Christ, that person would be a pancake if hit, especially if it was a child!
Make it a 1000 dollar fine or more. It will get them irate enough to complain to others and word will spread quickly,
Everyone on this channel and everywhere else is advocating for the police and the bus to fine people. But have you ever asked yourself why are the busses stopping and letting off children on busy main roads, especially multi lane roads consist of 5 to 8 lanes, as well as stopping in the highway and calling for traffic to stop on the opposite side as well ? Does anyone actually keep their eyes on the opposite side of the road while driving ? Have you guys ever thought about this ? If the government wanted to protect children, they would come up with a safer method to do so. Requiring all traffic to stop for a bus is a way for the government to put its hands in your pocket as no one ( absolutely no one ) will be driving while keeping their eyes on the opposite side of a multi lane road, not to mention highway.
Yeah, we probably shouldn't have roads be that big, especially if they're not highways.
Also, people on the opposite side of a DIVIDED highway are currently not required to stop in most places(I think maybe everywhere).
@@Servergmr in NY, all traffic must stop, even on divided highways in all direction.
@@nbafan3021 So, they will let you cross a freeway? Nah, that's too dangerous.
