Nah. That's Tyrogue's thing. Primeape fits the rush down archetype too well for it to be given up to a pokemon that is slower and has more spooky ghost stuff to offer
Heracross is in the game, so I'm all good. If I had to pick something new however, I'd go for Gallade: fighting with blades as arms will never not be cool.
Honestly, I think Koraidon fits for a boss rather than a character; that, or only being playable against CPUs or in adventure mode, since I don't see any universe in which he's not built broken above the other fighters.

Chesnaught's my main and he's a defensive mid-ranger. His main gameplan is to set up bullet seed from a safe position, then throw out his big pokes to stuff enemy approaches. If you manage to land a hit, all of his pokes can be special canceled, leading to high damage punishes. My go-to meterless bread and butter is 5A >> 6B >> 5B >> 6A/2B (depending on position). Knockdown gives you a chance to reload bullet seed to stuff another aporoach or extend another combo. His guard berry super (214B) heals him a little and gives 6A and 2B one hit of armor until you absorb a hit with it. This carries over between rounds. And that move you did at the end was his level 2 super (426B). It's a really strong finisher if you have the meter to spare
If we need to get another fighting type in I’d want the Paldean Taurus to get in sounds interesting having lingering effects like burn with that kind of archetype
Would love to see Hawkucha as an acrobatic grappler. Hariyama would be nice, just hope his move set isn't generic AF. Crabbrawler would be a great speedy boxer. Sooner or later Lucario is going to end up in this game.

What I'd want added, in order: Galarian Farfetch'd (Mid-range menace, Air Cutter projectile sends out feathers, sauce on people with The Leek™) Urshifu (change stance mid-battle, Rapid is fast with a weak long range projectile, Single is powerful with setup projectile) Pawmot (Moves based on The Tailor character from Kung Fu Hustle because Iron Fist, projectile like Smash Pikachu's T-jolt) Mega Lopunny (like Chun-Li that uses ears as whips, uses heal bell sound wave as a slow projectile that can setup in the corner)
My vision is for this game to have the fighting type combined with all the existing types; that is, at least one character from each type (that is combined with fighting). That leaves fairy, ghost, steel, rock, dragon, electric (if we don't count Gorochu) and ice. It would make me REALLY happy if we got Iron Valiant in the game.
Imagine a Pokemon Stadium 3 (in reality, they would probably name it something edgier like "Pokemon Stadium: Combat") where every pokemon had a different moveset. Kind of like this, but including the ENTIRE catalogue. Or at least they could start out by doing Gen 1 and 2, and do DLC's as they develop the game more. (Kind of like what Pokemon-Go did) Anyway, you would begin with a starter and embark on a story mode. There would be routes between gyms/towns where you would encounter randomized wild (catchable) pokemon and trainers that you would battle through for money. Do your best to get through a route without doubling back to the Pokecenter, or you might run into a wild pokemon that has respawned! As you progress, you might accidentally stumble into an especially hard fight vs a Team Rocket Member! Additionally, be prepared to play a "mario party-esque" minigame here and there that will reward you with a hold-able item. After you catch/evolve new Pokemon, they become unlocked in the stadium mode which could be like a ranked pvp thing where each player picks 6 of their pokemon. Solo duels and casual modes would also be available. The items you gain from story mode will also be available to equip on to your pokemon. Perhaps a ladder would be implemented that rewarded winners and participants with more rare hold-able items or mythic/legendary Pokemon. There would be other things to do in this game as well! There would be a place where you could practice the minigames vs your friends in couch co-op or even online. Obviously, the old Pokemon Stadium mini games would make a reprise, but there would be at least 50 others. There could also be minigame tournaments where items/rare Pokemon are up for grabs. Once you are gifted a Ditto in the story mode, the Poke Ranch becomes available where you can breed Pokemon together. This can result in hatching Pokemon with slightly different color schemes (a new mechanic, similar to how Pokemon Stadium models had different color schemes based on their nickname), full fledged shinies (which would have the "glittering sparkle" effect upon being released from their ball and generally a more vibrant color scheme), genders, natures, abilities etc. With so many new color schemes and shiny combinations, there will undoubtedly be some that are very sought after. A "Pokemon Market" will be available to trade your pokemon. Whether you are looking for the coolest looking color variant, a Pokemon with perfect stats, or a Pokemon with a special ability, this is where you will find it. You can use money from story mode to obtain these Pokemon, but it will likely be easier to obtain money via PvP matches. Additionally, only so many purchases will be allowed per day. This way, a single person won't be able to control the entire market. Trading will also be implemented. Some Pokemon will only evolve via trading. Using the "Wonder Trade" option will classify your Pokemon's rarity and trade it with a stranger's pokemon of equal rarity. This process will reset the stats of the Pokemon randomly with a small chance to change its color scheme and a TINY chance to convert it to a shiny. Use the "Wonder Trade" to turn your trash into treasure! Back to the gameplay: As far as balancing goes, it could kind of be like Tyrogue in this game: it is by no means bad on its own and is definitely viable, but additional evolutions would play differently. For example, Bulbasaur would be more nimble than Venusaur and have the same "thematic" skill-set, but Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur would each respectively have one very differentiating special. The rest of their attacks would be tweaked to to become increasingly slower and harder as Bulbasaur evolved from a skirmisher to Venusaur which would be a full fledged heavy tank. Sadly, this would require a LOT of work. The Pokemon Company is not nearly ambitious enough to pull it off... They are used to publishing sub-par games and getting easy cash from their fan-base.
The game's choice to only feature Fighting-type pokemon is great for the game's brand IMO. It provides the opportunity to show off a lot of relatively unpopular pokemon with their own full moveset and set of animations. A lot of heart goes into it
Honestly I'm pleasantly surprised that series darlings Lucario and Machamp are missing, I like that they're giving less popular pokemon a chance to shine. I think Conkeldurr has a ton of potential for this kind of game, but my personal choices would be Mega Lopunny or Hisuian Lilligant for a more feminine touch.
Lopunny actually already exists in one! A much older fan-made fighting game called Pokemon Type:Wild It's really good too, so I'd definitely recommend you check it out!
I want to see passimian doing some crazy tricks with the ball he holds. Also it would be cool to see primeape evolve into annihilape due to losing a round while using rage fist a certain number of times
My obvious pick would be Lucario as strong counter based mix-up character with bone rush being to get up close and aura sphere being great to deal with oppressive zoning. I would like to see the devs - Urshifu as a Tekken like stance character - Hawlucha as a fast aerial rushdown grappler - Sir Fetch’d as a major threat at mid range - Keldo summoning the Swords of Justice for attacks - Hariyama as the stereotypical Sumo character Finally Mega Mewtwo X as a boss would be lit. If you read all this, you’re a real one😌
@@tsawy6in gen 1 pikachu was at one point going to have a diverging level evo that makes it a fighting/electric type instead of raichu so the final boss is an interpretation of this concept where it’s a fighting type god of lightning
Toxicroak could be fun with a poison mechanic, and Urshifu being a stance change would be cool. Maybe add in Kommo-o as an install character, where its scales get louder to boost its power?
Its a crime Machamp isn't in the game yet. That being said, I want a Hisui rep. Sneasler, H. Liligant, or H. Decidueye. Flamigo could be a good addition too but only because it'd be absolutely ridiculous to see.

I'm actually surprised that the devs went with Poliwrath and Primeape over Machamp because he feels like such an obvious inclusion. In terms of mons I'd really wanna see, Hariyama, Lucario, Kommo-o, one of the Swords of Justice, and Phermosa come to mind. I think Mewtwo, Lopunny, and Meloetta would be funny since they're only fighting types under certain circumstances.
What's funny is that most of what you said has had a chance to be in but got outvoted Lucario and Lopunny lost to Scrafty Meloetta lost to Zapdos And Kommo-o lost to Breloom

Honestly Poliwrath being playable is why I downloaded but I also love me some Machamp. Could maybe be bc some of these mons people are recommending are already in Pokken? If you want playable Lucario, Machamp, and Mewtwo in a fighting game that's definitely the game to check out (sincerely a Luc main in Pokken). I think Lopunny and Meloetta are cool ideas though, like playing with stuff like form change or mega evo could be fun

The most obvious I’m surprised they don’t have but they definitely need because of course they’re a must to elevate the game and give it so much more potential and possibilities they are Machamp, Lucario, Infernape, Gallade, Kommo-o, Hariyama, Quaquaval, Hawlucha and maybe Lycanroc(Dusk form) and Ursaring/ Ursaluna(either version reg or bloodmoon) Then these are just some I think could have potential mostly non fighting but could have some cools moves combos and gameplay. Buzzswole, Conkeldurr, be cool if u die or lose with Primeape next round he’s Annihilape, Sirfetche’d, Marowak(Alolan), Garchomp, Aegislash, Iron hands, Meowscarada, and Snorlax 😂
Sadly conkeldurr probably wont be added, they did a whole tournament with lots of fighting types to see who would be added (slither wing won) and conkeldurr was in there and lost at like the first or second round

There would be routes between gyms/towns where you would encounter randomized wild (catchable) pokemon and trainers that you would battle through for money. Do your best to get through a route without doubling back to the Pokecenter, or you might run into a wild pokemon that has respawned! As you progress, you might accidentally stumble into an especially hard fight vs a Team Rocket Member! Additionally, be prepared to play a "mario party-esque" minigame here and there that will reward you with a hold-able item.
After you catch/evolve new Pokemon, they become unlocked in the stadium mode which could be like a ranked pvp thing where each player picks 6 of their pokemon. Solo duels and casual modes would also be available. The items you gain from story mode will also be available to equip on to your pokemon. Perhaps a ladder would be implemented that rewarded winners and participants with more rare hold-able items or mythic/legendary Pokemon.
There would be other things to do in this game as well! There would be a place where you could practice the minigames vs your friends in couch co-op or even online. Obviously, the old Pokemon Stadium mini games would make a reprise, but there would be at least 50 others. There could also be minigame tournaments where items/rare Pokemon are up for grabs.
Once you are gifted a Ditto in the story mode, the Poke Ranch becomes available where you can breed Pokemon together. This can result in hatching Pokemon with slightly different color schemes (a new mechanic, similar to how Pokemon Stadium models had different color schemes based on their nickname), full fledged shinies (which would have the "glittering sparkle" effect upon being released from their ball and generally a more vibrant color scheme), genders, natures, abilities etc.
With so many new color schemes and shiny combinations, there will undoubtedly be some that are very sought after. A "Pokemon Market" will be available to trade your pokemon. Whether you are looking for the coolest looking color variant, a Pokemon with perfect stats, or a Pokemon with a special ability, this is where you will find it. You can use money from story mode to obtain these Pokemon, but it will likely be easier to obtain money via PvP matches. Additionally, only so many purchases will be allowed per day. This way, a single person won't be able to control the entire market.
Trading will also be implemented. Some Pokemon will only evolve via trading. Using the "Wonder Trade" option will classify your Pokemon's rarity and trade it with a stranger's pokemon of equal rarity. This process will reset the stats of the Pokemon randomly with a small chance to change its color scheme and a TINY chance to convert it to a shiny. Use the "Wonder Trade" to turn your trash into treasure!
Back to the gameplay: As far as balancing goes, it could kind of be like Tyrogue in this game: it is by no means bad on its own and is definitely viable, but additional evolutions would play differently. For example, Bulbasaur would be more nimble than Venusaur and have the same "thematic" skill-set, but Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur would each respectively have one very differentiating special. The rest of their attacks would be tweaked to to become increasingly slower and harder as Bulbasaur evolved from a skirmisher to Venusaur which would be a full fledged heavy tank.
Sadly, this would require a LOT of work. The Pokemon Company is not nearly ambitious enough to pull it off... They are used to publishing sub-par games and getting easy cash from their fan-base.
The game's choice to only feature Fighting-type pokemon is great for the game's brand IMO. It provides the opportunity to show off a lot of relatively unpopular pokemon with their own full moveset and set of animations. A lot of heart goes into it
Honestly I'm pleasantly surprised that series darlings Lucario and Machamp are missing, I like that they're giving less popular pokemon a chance to shine. I think Conkeldurr has a ton of potential for this kind of game, but my personal choices would be Mega Lopunny or Hisuian Lilligant for a more feminine touch.
I would love Infernape. It's one of my favorite pokemon.

My obvious pick would be Lucario as strong counter based mix-up character with bone rush being to get up close and aura sphere being great to deal with oppressive zoning.

- Urshifu as a Tekken like stance character
- Hawlucha as a fast aerial rushdown grappler
- Sir Fetch’d as a major threat at mid range
- Keldo summoning the Swords of Justice for attacks
- Hariyama as the stereotypical Sumo character

Tyrogue can also be played solo without evolving. Doing so will give it access to a new Level 3 hyper in Raging Demon.
This game had a secret boss then only access to beat every opponent without losing a round and oh boy,that boss is hard as hell.

@@tsawy6in gen 1 pikachu was at one point going to have a diverging level evo that makes it a fighting/electric type instead of raichu so the final boss is an interpretation of this concept where it’s a fighting type god of lightning
Toxicroak could be fun with a poison mechanic, and Urshifu being a stance change would be cool. Maybe add in Kommo-o as an install character, where its scales get louder to boost its power?

Its a crime Machamp isn't in the game yet. That being said, I want a Hisui rep. Sneasler, H. Liligant, or H. Decidueye. Flamigo could be a good addition too but only because it'd be absolutely ridiculous to see.

I'm actually surprised that the devs went with Poliwrath and Primeape over Machamp because he feels like such an obvious inclusion. In terms of mons I'd really wanna see, Hariyama, Lucario, Kommo-o, one of the Swords of Justice, and Phermosa come to mind. I think Mewtwo, Lopunny, and Meloetta would be funny since they're only fighting types under certain circumstances.

Honestly Poliwrath being playable is why I downloaded but I also love me some Machamp. Could maybe be bc some of these mons people are recommending are already in Pokken? If you want playable Lucario, Machamp, and Mewtwo in a fighting game that's definitely the game to check out (sincerely a Luc main in Pokken). I think Lopunny and Meloetta are cool ideas though, like playing with stuff like form change or mega evo could be fun
